Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

Apart from a slightly moist log, there is nothing wrong with this cache. Its hiding place is secure...just needs a couple of warm days...and I reckon they will be coming soon. TFTC

It's the weekend and the weather is fine, so Touchstone7 and I decided a trip outside Canberra was in order. Today we headed back, but were determined to take the scenic route and collect a few caches along the way.

Cache is in decent condition and despite being a bit damp is still OK.

30-Sep-18
Seeing this cache marked as disabled due to water Genghicat and I decided to grab this one on our way to Canberra. The container had water in but I wiped and dried it out. Log book is only slightly damp. All up cache os in good condition.
The fields are beautiful at this time of year with rape seed covered in blooms.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**

The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.

If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days, so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?**

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Tftc, nice little stop off on the way to Murrumbateman. The cache container was full of water but the bag kept the log dry.

**1.** This cache appears to be in need of owner attention. Perhaps it needs to be temporarily disabled by the owner until they have an opportunity to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary.

**2.** This cache is classified as a Traditional (cache at listed co-ords) but the GZ today was some16m away from where the cache is located. We note other logs also remarking about the accuracy of the co-ordinates.

It would seem as though this cache is well and truly due for one of those regular owner maintenance visit please.

Heading south west from Cowra, as far as Greenthorpe and Bendick Murrell, this is one of the finds we made on the return to camp. As previous logs indicate the container still holds water, the log is dry.

Satelites today had our GZ 16 metres west of where we found the cache.

Thanks 'Marksman93' for placing this cache.

We came upon your cache, Marksman93, while travelling from Canberra to Dubbo on our homeward journey to Brisbane

A previous logmentioned a tree so we headed straight there. We found the cache in a hollow log in a very sorry state with the contents wet and smelly. Took the cache back to the Geo Falcon for cleaning and a new log sheet. Cleaned up what we could then removed the remainder.

Thete is a lot of wheat harvesting taking place around here today.

Log signed and replaced at 11:49 am on 29 November 2017. TFTC.

A nice drive off the highway, farms looking good. The cache was located easily, but it was very, very wet. Tipped water out and tried to dry it out, sorry didn't have replacements with me. The log was stuck together and slimey. Thanks Marksman93

Tftc .. log book very wet .. needs some tlc

This was hard, even harder with a hard to decipher clue, and co-ords slightly out and the long grass. After a few mins found but log and contents soaked. Might need some TLC.

08-May-16
After a search I found this about 15 metres out. It's a snug hide it's in. TFTC Marksman93.

06-Apr-16
Found it sitting in the open. Put it back in the obvious spot. Busy road this - semitrailers, buses, cars!

Thanks

12-Oct-15
Continuing my journey south, this was the next cache. I pulled up nearby and made my way through the long grass to where my told me was GZ. I searched without luck. I checked the clue and was sure I was in the right spot. So I searched some more, still without luck. Whilst searching, my eye kept going to a particular feature, so I decided to move my search to there. Sure enough, the cache was there. Based on the hint, I think there has been a severe case of cache creep here. I signed the log and returned the cache to where I found it, before heading back to the car and on my way.

Tftc a lovely cache in the country surrounds. Nice easy find!

04-Jul-15

Our only free day for quite some time so we decided to head out on a geomission around the area. We have had a couple of mini tours lately, but today we went all out to Cowra and Grenfell to see how many we could find. Rapidlywild came along for the drive to fill her gaps where she has previously posted DNF's. The weather was lovely and the drive was picturesque, thank you to all the cache owners for bringing us to this lovely part of Australia.

The country roads were better than the main roads. We stopped quickly at this one and made the find before heading off in search of others in this area.

After being couped up at home for over a week due to an ugly illness, cabin fever was setting in and I needed out for the day.

I decided to hit the country roads and head north for a while before coming back south. I had a very enjoyable day out along the dirt roads exploring the country side. Lots of nice areas and caches to make things even better Big Grin

Was looking in all the wrong placed before reading previous logs. I was watching a sheep who was having a field day eating leaves off the big tree. Once reading the logs I changed my search loctation and had cache in seconds.

Thanks Marksman93 for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today. Big GrinSmile

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 1, Canberra to Cowra.

My new 4WD is loaded with my mountain bike, my GeoSchnauzers, my geocaching kit, and a few other things the dogs and I might need while we're away. We got away bright and early today, at midday, after breakfast at the local coffee shop, and after waiting for the house to empty so I could lock up properly.

No 14 of 16 today. Thanks, Marksman93. A previous log explains why the cache is now in the tree... the clue fooled me for a while

Decided to make one more cache grab today and it was well worth the detour with mnjontour. Some great scenery out this way and we would never have come is way if it wasn't for the cache. Sun was low and everything looked so pretty. Coordinates seemed a little out, but really not that hard to locate and we soon had our names on the logbook. TFTC

Found on a caching day out with the Stormcatchers. Last cache for us today before we headed home. Great view - the countryside is looking great at the moment - very green. Thanks for bringing us here Marksman 93. TFTC Smile

My trip today was from Bathurst to Queanbeyan, stopping at a few caches along the way. When arrived at GZ, there were about 40 sheep milling around the tree, just on the other side of the fence. As soon as I got out of my car, they fled in fear. No search needed to find the cache. Once complete, another group of 5 - 10 sheep approached me, thinking I might have something for them. Alas, no.

My thanks to Marksman93 for the cache.

19-Nov-13
This detour is really worth it, great views. Cache was easily found but no swaps so we left a few goodies as a genuine Dutch miniature clog and some butterfly buttons. We also wrapped the cache in a black plastic bag so it is better protected. TFTC Marksman93.

05-Oct-13
We decided to visit my niece in Weetaliba over the weekend. Coming from Canberra meant around 500+ km of travel, so naturally we needed a few “breaks” along the way. This cache was the first of them!
Nice sheep, on very green turf here! Thanks MM93.

30-Sep-13
Found with 5 friends while driving home to Canberra after a weekend in Cowra. A lovely spot. TFTC

08-Sep-13
Found at 5:47:00 PM.

Found on a trip out NW with the family camping, showing and caching. I'm really glad we made the side trup to do this cache as we arrived at sunsent and took some awesome photos!

Thanks Marksman93

30-Jun-13
The container has now totally disappeared. All that I found was a chewed plastic farm animal. As it appears the cache was on private property, have thrown a container in the tree if anyone wants to go out for this one. The views are really good and it is worth the diversion off the main drag. TFTH Smile

01-Apr-13
This cache needs a lot of attention. The container is cracked, the log container is cracked and the bag the whole lot was in is no longer a bag.

01-Apr-13
Took a while on this one until geo wife stumbled on it 3-4 metres from the fence line. In desparate need of some maintenance.

But not where indicated

Needs urgent maintenance Looks like it has been found by a fox Teeth marks! Was scattered around Collected what we could find and put back where hint said

You could vanish in the grass, very glad to come away with the cache at first try on this one. TFTC

11-May-12
Drove all the way up to this one as the grass is quite long and not far back on the main road we saw a snake.

Bugs all through cache container, but log ok.

Great detour of the highway. Nice views too. Didn't see too many creatures guarding the cache, but some maintenance might be in order; log was very damp.

Didn't see any eagles either, despite the name of the road. Smile

09-Dec-11
A pleasant detour on a morning run from Cudal to Canberra and must have been through just before fungoddess as I found the cache lying out on the grass. Put it back under the log but missed the redbacks. All quiet at GZ buy quite a bit of traffic on the road back out though. Many thanks Marksman93.

26-Jun-11
A short detour off the main road to cowra today. The road was hard after all the rain so didnt have much dust. Was great to see more of the huge country TFTC Marksman93

Cheers Marksman93 for this cache, the rain had eased a little when we arrived at GZ but the grass was that long it meant we were wet from foot to hip by the time we found this one, but a hide is a hide............... and a find is a find. Thanks for bringing us here.

Continuing my drive along the back roads soon had me at this one. A quick walk away from the car, and the cache was in hand. Thanks for yet another cache and the drive along the back roads.

05-Nov-10
The grass is getting a bit long. I stepped in a small ditch and the grass was over my head - and no, I'm not THAT short. A nice detour on the trip to Canberra, so thanks for this cache.

05-Nov-10
First find on our trip to Canberra. Cache OK. TFTC

29-Aug-10
I hadn't noticed this newish cache on my previous trips this way, but spotted it when I stopped in Cowra for a rest stop BTW its about 20km from town and only a 2km of good dirt road and well worth the small detour. I wasn't quiet sure of the origin of the name or perhaps I didn't notice anything on the way in, but Canola crop in full bloom.
BTW couldn't see any trackables in cache.

Made the mistake of leaving the GPS the 4WD went to the most likley looking spot No luck so retrived the GPS and what do you know BINGO!

03-Jul-10
The clue on this one is a little one could say out, with four eyes looking the cache would not come to light ! then Pop said there it is as he caught in the right light ! thanx to the finder for putting the new log in !

26-Jun-10
found it no problem but it was a little past the 4 stars. could not sign the log that was there we had rain the night before and log was soaked beyond unfolding. we took out half a pack of golf tees to make a film canister fit with new log inside. this cache could use a better container. anyone considering using an ipod case for a cache ... DONT

13-Jun-10
Found itBig Grin! The find came easy, signing the log was harder! The contents is wet through. iPod cases are not as water proof as one might hope Sad Had a nice drive though! TFTC

26-Apr-10
Ok, this one took some finding, because it wasn't '4 stars up'. It wasn't even under a 'star'. We also think a larger cache might be called for in this location. We saw several great spots where something much bigger might have been hidden safely.
Nice little road. Thank you.
