Tried a second time. This time helpful muggle salesman came racing out to show us where it normally is. Definitely not there.
Found it, but disappointed. Log is mush and unsignable thought it said it had been fixed recently?

I have found a few caches around the BIG features, The Big Prawn, The Big Chicken, The Big Rock!
I wasn't expecting a big oyster!
The cache was quickly retrieved. Unfortunately the log book is almost nothing but mush. It appears that water has gotten to it.
Thanks for the cache.

Saw it pretty quick but was hard to get out with plenty of traffic going past. Log is very wet and needs some attention. TFTC.
Lucky I had muggle brother-in-law with me on this one as I was a little short to get it out of its hidey hole. Have walked/ran past here a few times in the last couple of days but it has always been in business hours, so this time we got it after hours. Log sheet def needs replacement but an great hide.
Difficult to extricate due to high muggle activity. Fortunately Mr Shockers is tall enough when we encounter these kinds of caches. Tftc.
Found during a morning MTB mounted assault on a few Chatham and Cundletown caches. The geo-girls waited on the other side of the road whilst the geo-son and I rode across and searched for about 5 minutes before the cache was located. Not quite as popular as its yellow cousin in Coffs but still a north coast icon. Many thanks GillyGang4
Found on a night run on Day 2 of the road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane with nanton34. I had to take photos of the big oyster to disguise what we were up to - although taking photos of it at night is hardly legit! tftc
On a roadtrip from Melbourne to Brisbane with eighthknox was a little hard to be inconspicuous at night but thankfully good street lighting meant we didn't need to use torches and the cache was soon located TFTC
Early mornings work well too! No muggles at 8 AM. Easy find. Didn't have a pen so DSL. TFTC
Awesome spot. Definetly the smallest cache ive ever found. TFTC! Look out for muggles. 15th overall find
TFTC love this cache tried to find this one when i bought my New Navara but i couldn't find it that time
this time was having trouble finding it but had the dealers help as they were able to see higher that i could.
a few questions latter i think i may have just introduced one of the dealers to start geocaching quite a productive day if i had to say so

With the day off work, Big Matt and I decided to head north to find a few caches around Harrington and Taree. This almost sounds like a good name for a seafood restaurant! We parked very close and Big M jumped out and quickly spotted the cache. Thankfully for the next finder, he returned the cache where he found...and not where he could have put it!

Our 6769th overall find.
Found on a day out with Marcus Vitruvius up to and around Harrington and Taree. You can slap me in the head for this one. I didn't spot the caches namesake and it was only after we drove back past after the find that I saw the Oyster. After making the find I joked with MV about increasing the terrain but replaced the cache where I found it.
Thanks GillyGang4 for the cache.

grabed this one on a day out caching around Taree and surrounds with Team Senz TFTC
Today we headed north with TeamTonka for some caching for the day.
A nice quick find after locating what level the cache was on. Thanks GillyGang4

Down here with SES for flood ops. Staying in a motel 170m from here. Early morning raid saw no muggles. Fortunately I brought a taller muggle friend with me or I would never have reached it.
Caching with Kaianna but no oysters here, nice little hide though, easy to get out, harder to get back.

Another cache, another excuse to stop from cycling past!
Took a bit to avoid the 'drive-by' muggles, so not sure about the Difficulty rating, let alone not being able to see it, and only being able to get it by using a tool from the repair kit.

While out with Craig & Grace, we came home from the beach and Craig said there's one here...right near this BIG oyster...Nope not edible!!! I made the guess and found the cache where I thought it was. It had moved a little since Craig & Grace found it, but roughly the same place. SL and replaced. TFTC.

Woohoo- found it! Night time caching: looking very suspect to drivers-by I am sure, as much as we tried to look like we had a perfectly good excuse for hanging around the car yard in the dark. Had fun, a tricky little hide. Thanks!
An easy find. cool oyster, like the uluru farther south
On the way to the cache geodad and geoboy found an injured rainbow lorikeet. It was chirping a lot and it had a bleeding head and wing. After finding the cache geomum and I went to join the others with the bird. We stayed with it for a while (it was tame and couldn't move much) and tried to feed it some bread, crackers, nectarine and water. We couldn't do much more. Poor thing

Took a while to find but eventually we figured it out. Glad to see someone has found it after us because I was concerned I had put it back 'more hidden' than it had been for us. English not good today cupeche? TFTC
Came passed here last at around 6:00 with no GPS but had my phone. Trying to get my phone to work took ages, but I knew roughly where it was so I just stared for sometime until my dad had finished looking at the cars. As my dad came I spotted it, I must be so blind sometimes.... Haha
Thanks for the hunt!
Thanks for the hunt!
We felt a bit exposed but it was dinner time, hopefully passing muggles were thinking about that. TFTC GillyGang4
A quick find, but I did lose my pencil in the groove, as I'm vertically challenged and needed a TOOT to retrieve and replace the cache.

We have found a nice little spot at the Coopernook Hotel to park the caravan and go off caching. We got away early today and headed into Taree. Some very tricky finds had us going, this was one we were able to find.
Thanks to GillyGang4.

We drive to taree with my good friend for 3 days from Central Coast... We find caches all the way...
5179 + 577 = 5756. We didn't try this one yesterday as there were too many nuggles around. Tonight - after dark - returning from the first day on the Mid North Coast Wander - we stopped and made a quick find. Happy with that ! This rounded off a very satisfying day and a record number of finds in a day for myself (139 GC + 3 GCA for a total of 142).
Thanks again GillyGang4 !!

Grabbed on the way back into Taree after our first day on the power trail. Took a little bit to find in the dark, but all was good and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for another one GillyGang4.....

Had to be tall to grab this cache.
Replaced wet log with a sheet of paper, signed & replaced it.

Got ya! found the little micro cache, opened the container to find that the log book has been ruined due to it getting wet! Didn't have any paper to replace the log book but the owner may want to check it out.
Excellent Cache, thanks!

First one of the day. Nice hide. In the company of iLocate and The Pheebster and My Wandering Ways TFTC
Found this one in company of Rusty Dutchman, iLocate and My Wandering Ways (his first find). TFTC. Clever little spot. Not to many muggles
I finally completed this cache! I have not been actively caching for quite some time now and this cache has always been near the top of my nearest caches. I have done a few half attempts at it but there has always been too many muggles around, even today I felt a little exposed while poking it out of the hole. Thanks GillyGang4!
Who would have thought that someone would rebuild the Big Oyster! How tacky can you get!
Grahame Cooke and Pprass were both looking on as I looked for this - talk about pressure!
A quick find and we were off.
Thanks, Robmc.

2130 "On way home" from work finally had a chance to really check this out, and there it was!
Yeah !
Replaced the scraps of paper with a 'mini log sheet'.
TFTC
Don't thick the B2B travel ingot would have fitted this cache, but it would certainly fit in the 'hide'.

1400-1415 Tried to look inconspicuous to the drive-by muggles; but the cricketing families over the road were a bigger concern. (Am reasonable tall - 186cm, but still not able to see anything I could retrieve without a tool)
Logging this again as found as I'm not sure how I was suposed to log this both as a find and as needing action...
Found it easily together with mputland.
The log is full and needs replacing

Nice and easy just as it started to rain. Logs wet and full, so had to remove oldest log and place a bit of dry paper in there. May need a bit of maintainence!!!
