An easy find on a warm and windy Sunday afternoon.I note the container is now exhibiting cracks and it wont be long for it is not waterproof any more and the log is not enclosed in plasticTFTC bringing me to a lovely part of the world
Well November has come around once again before it gets too hot, that means off on a camping trip chasing Yellow Faces . Lucky enough to find several but have encountered a couple Blue Faces .Either way the experience has been rewarding due to the Geocache locations and the early summer days in the high teens & low to mid 20s.Many thanks go out to all the COs and the maintenance crews around the remote and country regions that make travelling more enjoyable.TFTC
A beautiful walk took us on to the beach, small detour to collect the cache. Definitely a beautiful view.Winter is the best time to do these caches. Only one other small group on the Bach.
Spent the afternoon on the Yorke Peninsula visiting beaches and coastal viewing spots. The coordinates were spot on but we didn't believe it! Took a little longer to find than it should have.TFTC.
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Took way longer than it should have gps spot on
Struck it gold today with a beautiful winters day. Out exploring in the surrounds from Maitland with iluvtrekking. Yes we did get to the point. Thanks for the hide.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We are enjoying the small towns, beaches, cliffs, history and ruins we encounter along the way in beautiful weather. Thanks for the cache

Found on my one week's lovely and interesting YP caching odyssey. Thanks finnstar99.
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Away for the Australia Day long weekend (We decided to be extra Patriotic and have Monday off as well! ) We are camped at Pine Point and today headed out early to grab a few caches and do a bit of sightseeing before meeting friends in Coobowie for lunch. After a very nice meal and a great catch up, we said our goodbyes and headed back to pine point. Found this about 6m from GZ. thankfully the rain had eased by the time we attemped this. Apologies for the late log but I’ve had a few issues with my phone.

It was time for another Thursday trek with Sushilord, SA Sewer Rats and JJ52. On a whim they decided to head to the Yorke and try and pick up a FTF or two. They got two, so the obvious response was more caching! This was the last cache in the area for the Rat, so a short walk to a very degraded cache was made. Some serious TLC needed here.
Mrs Rat only had this one to find in Black Point.
So the Thursday Trekkers ventured down on to the sand.
Made our way to the cache.
Mrs Rat quickly spotted the cache and had in her paws.
This cache needs to be replaced as the lid has broken away from the container. Tftc

Another caching day out was organised with Doctor Owl, sushilord and Mrs SA Sewer Rats and as we had seen a few new caches published overnight we decided to head over to Yorke Peninsula to try and get a couple of them. After we had successfully FTF two multis it was time to get a few other caches on our trip around the peninsula. [^]
This was the only cache in Black Point that Mrs Rat hadn't found so we stopped here and went for a nice walk to find the cache. Cache was found but is in serious need of some TLC (ie a new container) Have made it as secure as we could.
Thanks for the cache finnstar99.

A long weekend with a massive amount of geocache finds in the Yorke Peninsula! The weekend was filled with a loong day of the fishing line power trail, followed by a subsequent day of the geoart at the peninsula bottom. I managed to squeeze in a night scuba dive, and then it was a slow return home finding a few geocaches on the way. An unexpected enjoyable weekend than what I thought it would be, with great company from locals Munja and skuzzybear, and visiting Kiwis mar1sa and the Seagnoid.
The original plan for today was to continue/complete the geoart at the bottom of Yorkes, but I think everyone had had enough with the monotony of getting in/out of cars with little scenery and ongoing repetition, that we decided to take it slowly back up the peninsula. It was an early-ish start from 8:00 hr, as we wanted to beat the crowds back heading home from the long weekend. Geocaches were collected along the main coastal road (or just off it), with a small detour visiting Black Point to collect those caches and having a FTF. I then said goodbye to the team as I drove skuzzybear back to her car in Kadina, and then collected a few strategic oldie caches on the return back to Adelaide. Unfortunately I was waiting in heavy traffic for a duration of 30 min at the dreaded Port Wakefield turn-off due to the time spent in the morning collecting caches, but otherwise, the return drive back went without incident. The weather was kind to us with an enjoyable morning, and then raining (and cleaning!) my car once I had arrived home.
An extended walk from where we parked our cars for this geocache. We ended up taking the long way down the established trail and along the beach to reach this geocache, but then shortcutted our way through the scrubland back to the vehicles (so overall a triangle walk). The geocache didn't take long to find once at GZ, and the container and logbook appeared to be in good shape. Thanks finnstar99 for the placement, and ongoing maintenance. A nice beach.

making our way back to the city, grabbing what we are able to on the way, thanks for the placement, greetings from NZ either signed as KAA or mar1sa.
The end of the Kiwis and Aussies trip on the York Peninsula had finally come to an end and rising early we began to make our way back to Adelaide. Like any good caching trip, we slowly cached our way home. Despite the greying weather it was a good drive back home, with traffic not presenting us with too much of a problem. An enjoyable and relaxing way to finish what was a fantastic trip. All logs were signed as KaA (Kiwis and Aussies).

After driving past the turn off to this cache (no worries, we'll do the other one first) team KAA came back here. Nice little stroll along the beach. Nice to walk the sand for a change.
Cache no longer needs maintenance - could the CO please log an owner maintenance log to clear the needs maintenance attribute.
After spending the night in Stansbury after a couple of over-the-top days in the Yorke Peninsula targeting the geoart, Team KAA are heading north - the rush is on! To relieve a cache of its empty logbookness. Got that, now heading back to Adelaide. Thank goodness for the cooler weather! That 42 degrees we had earlier was just too much.
Team KAA (Kiwis and Aussies) are Skuzzybear, the Seagnoid, Munja, Mar1sa, David and Kris.

After first enjoying a stroll along the beach we came to search for this cache, which we soon located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache at this very nice location and greetings from Zimbabwe
Lovely spot. Mr matmob thinks it would be a good fishing spot. Thanks for showing us
Our first geocache find! Found it after being distracted by various other possible things. The navigate button made it easy.
We are coming to the end of our three weeks staying on the Yorke Peninsula, and we will be sad to say goodbye to such a lovely area. We have moved around a bit spending three nights at each of the spots we’ve chosen, and it’s a great way to really get to see so much of what is on offer here. We’ve picked up heaps of caches but, more importantly, we have come to love this region and intend to return here and continue our explorations. Some great bakeries, coffee shops and pubs are also worth coming back for!
Well we got to the point, and found a cache there! A great spot with a fantastic view across the ocean. The wind was a bit brisk today, but at least the rain is holding off for the moment.
Took a bit of a search to locate this one, and then lost sight of it when we tried to retrieve it. Got there in the end though!

Day 5 of our trip - travelling back from the Yorke Peninsula through to Adelaide. Our targets for the day included more T.O.Y. caches, a virtual, a letterbox trail, and a bit more geoart. Also a few caches with some interesting D/Ts for their type. Finished the night with some wherigos... A great day was had by all. Caches logged under the "SWAG-JJ" group monkier. TFTC!
The SWAGJJ team has embarked on day 5 and are enjoying the caching pleasures of the Yorke Peninsula! So much on offer and such a wondrous part of our great land! So many caches makes for a busy and fun filled day! Lots of fun caches today TFTC
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 5: Heading back towards Adelaide for the next two days we are hitting up as many TOY caches, letterboxes and other interesting things on our journey today.

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Day 5 visiting Adelaide and surrounding suburbs with geo friends Waz and Vic, Ardom, Gcoven, JACS Team and joojoo57 from Queensland.
Enjoying venturing around the beautiful city and countryside finding as many caches as we can before heading back home.

On the way to WA, taking a lot of wriggle roads. Doing a lap of the Yorke Peninsula and on the east coast heading South. TFTC and your maintenance of same, finnstar99. TNLN.
Nice walk along the beach from the campground, Ol made the find after a short search (bag is brittle, contents still dry). TFTC
Was half expecting to DNF this one, but thrilled to have found it. Went round and round as you do, and spied the container. Watch out for the glass nearby, lucky I had put my shoes back on by the time I was in that area. No one around as I visited during happy hour. Thanks for the hide
Today we explored Port Vincent and then travelled to Port Julia and Black Point and finished at Pine Point using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Having stayed in Port Wakefield overnight to got a good head start on the traffic heading to Edithburgh for the JLWE, mogni and I set off early. The only thing standing in our way were several unfound caches. What would YOU do? We stopped and grabbed a few (well more than 40) smilies and about 4 DNF's
Time for a walk on the beach. I hate sand.
Despite that I enjoyed the walk as there were plenty of birds keeping us company as we made our way out to the point. When we arrived I was amazed to see just how pointy in fact it was.
A short detour inland, a short search and the cache was in hand. Looks like you might need a few dollars to live around here.
Thanks finnstar99 for the cache.

Out for a drive with brisal5 on our way to Edithburg for the June Long weekend. We didn't take the direct route but the scenery was much better the way we went. I am venturing into new territory. I will need to come back and really explore.
Thank you for sharing this lovely location with me.
Thank you for sharing this lovely location with me.
I was getting to the point
And was shocked to see just how ugly the point is these days [:o]
All those expensive 'gin palaces' that only get lived in for a month or two a year
Until now on me tour of the Yorke,
I have been pleasantly surprised how little it has changed since I was visiting with the family on camping trips during skool holidays in the 70's
Black Point seems to be the future of the Yorke
And an ugly scar on the landscape [:o]
I did enjoy the stroll out to the point along the beach
You can almost forget the ugliness if you don't look behind you
Cache found safe and sound

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!
Over this way for the weekend with a frog got in a bit of cache maintanance and took the Yorkes tour.
One of many fun finds around the peninsular [^]

The long weekend presented the perfect opportunity for my wige (Tounga) and I to plan a quick get away.
So, we booked some accommodation in Moonta and decided to cache the upper Yorke Peninsula.
We had a great time, finding 129 geocaches in all.
Thanks for hinding your cache finnstar99, we enjoyed it.
I apologise for the generic log.
