Set off today with a plan and this cache was in it. But! Write note to self. Look at previous logs and save time. Maybe the CO should take a look and do a bit of maintenance, or archive this one.
Lovely area for a walk / bike ride but unable to locate this cache today despite a good few minutes looking.
Several DNF's on this one now - please would cache owner check, and replace or archive the cache. Thanks!
(this has been logged incorrectly as 27/8 instead of 28/8 but can't change it sorry).

Pretty sure that this cache has gone - the kids and I have found this one numerous times - it's a usual stop on our bike trips around the reserve - there has been no sign on the last couple of times around, unless someone has hidden it further in or moved it.....
Hi kale29m I notice this has had three DNFs now I will be back in the area at end of month would be good if you could check . Thanks
Can't find it. I have been several times (i live across the road so I go every few days).
Looked for about 1/2 hour very busy with muggles today then the rain came so thought I will leave and come back with the kids another day.
Found this one just as it was getting dark. A torch helped. Lovely wet-land and a nice walk. Thanks for placing this cache.
An early start today. Got up at 3 o'clock to bring Mum to the Papamoa Market. Helped set up her stall then went for a short cache hunt.
Have to admit, I've searched for this cache twice before. It's been a traditional blight on my geomap for ages. Brought some extra eyes today, but didn't need them. The cache was sitting in the first place I looked. I'm sure I searched here before. Oh well... Found. TFTC.

We put the bikes on the back of the car and travelled out to Bethlehem to do five of the reserve caches. This was our fourth one and another great find in a great area. The kids swapped a couple of the treasures. TFTC. #78
We parked at the end of Westwood St and took the slightly boggy route to join the path. What a beautifully-developed wetlands. Nice fast find with few muggles about. Thanks for taking us there, a favourite for us.
After hosting "A Numbers Event" I decieded to leave town and collect a few caches of my own. We had a 70's party tonight so came over early (without costume) and cached and ate and cached.
Thanks for a great little placement just to to await the clusster of muggles to depart. Not so logical but had to widen search

Was looking in completely wrong area for starters, my gps couldn't quite make its mind up, finally onto it had to be quick between muggles walking, was very busy today, took orange car, left red duck and army man, TFTC
Picked up Canadian Postal Bear and will try to keep him heading north. Thanks for the cache.
Back again after about a year when we were unsuccessful in finding cache. Had better luck this time and left the Canadian Bear trackable. Well covered. TFTC

Easy find for Grace - she was straight to it, not bad for a 4 yr old! Another nice walk around the reserve, or cycle for the girls. Tried to camo it with some pine needles. Took the travel bug.

Took a little bit of searching to find the cache but it's a good one!

Nice walk about the the area, had to wait for some muggles to leave the area before making the find. TFTC
Nice walk through the walkways, and a good hide - workers at the next boardwalk so had to hurry
Parked in the dead end St then walked around the houses to the track. Bit boggy that way but not too bad.
Nice big cache, great.
IN: Black Sheep TB and Red Jeep TB on disc.
The other trackables Thai Turtle Good Luck Charm and White Tiki on a 'Tiki Tour'are no longer there and should now be marked as "Missing"

Great day for duck feeding and a walk. Found with no problem. A great hiding spot.

A very quick find - paint peeling from container - had a goose keeping an eye on things - TFTC
FTF at new location. Cache colour & inventory does not match that listed. Am assuming it applied to the cache that was muggled. I think this one will be fairly safe, hiding spot seems good.TFTC.

New Cache placed full of goodies in a new spot. Hopefully it does not grow legs again
I also looked for this cache again after finding it earlier in year - I wanted to drop off a TB but could not find cache - had a good look around but no luck
Looks like it has grown legs again. Will decide soon whether or not I will replace it again.
Found this awile ago but forgot to log it?!
Very cool spot, love it.

A straightforward find in an interesting location. However when we arrived, our GPS took us straight to where a man and his sons were sitting, almost immediately joined by another older man who decided to have a rest from his walk. Explanations were necessary, and the boys liked the chest full of treasure, and their father was obviously interested, so maybe some new geocachers? TFTC

Our perfect cache... Easily found, though we did have to dodge the steady stream of walkers & cyclists... a seat to sit on with a lovely view & ducks to watch while we documented the cache ... and we even found some free feijoas to collect on the way back... Life doesn't get much better than this.

You have done very well on your first cache. A great location. Thanks

We were on a mission today to find 30 caches as part of the Master of Geocaching Science Degree (GC2J6AY) challenges and this was find # 18/30.
Why is it we always seem to choose either the longer or incorrect way to GZ [?]. This time it was the longer way but the weather was nice and the walk enjoyable. Coords spot on and even after the recent rain the cache was dry T4TC.

4.20pm - Nice sopt for a first cache. Took Green Jeep TB & Jaffer's SA Geocoin. TFTC
Had to dodge a few muggles and bide our time. Quick find once the opportunity opened. Great location and great cache. TB drop. TFTC
Thank you for replacing this one. What a cool cache.
Thank you for giving us a great reason to get the kids out on their bikes to find this one on a loverly summers day.

New Replacement Cache has been put in place. Please re-hide in the same place & were you find it. Hopefully this one won't get Muggled. Thanks
Couldn't find this one. We spent over half an hour looking all around GZ for it as it was one of those days where there was no one else around.
Looks like workers have been clearing along the side of the walkways about half a meter back from the walkway so not sure if the cache has been desturbed.
A very cool place for a cache and a nice walk around looking forward to looking for this one again if it is still there.

Used the bike to get to GZ. Excellent wide pathways making it easy for walkers and cyclists to share. Sadly I couldn't find the cache. Had a reasonable hunt but was finally interrupted when a family group turned up to feed the ducks.
Next time ....

Really didn't see anyone else until we were within ten metres of your cache and then they
came out from everywhere, jogging and towing dogs.
After it quitened down your cache was located and signed.

Thanks

A loverly place for a walk, and to sit down and enjoy the views, but we had more important things to do - a cache to find!
It was obvious the ducks weren't going to help (we had brought no bread for bribes!) so we were on our own.
Good first cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

Great find
Was feeding the ducks with two muggles so secretly found it without them noticing anything.

We approached this one the wrong way - from the nearest parking - what a mistake.
Good walking shoes turned black from squishing in the mud.
Got to the track and then it was easy. Left the turtle TB, recently picked up in Darwin, and took some trackables for more adventures.

A great place for your first cache!
Got to within 30m of GZ, then waited an eternity for a canine event | conference to finish... it never did, so sadly had to retreat and return on another day.... nice wetlands, enjoyed our walk nevertheless.
Very cold on feet in open sandals while walking in to site , ground covered in frost. lots of ducks to help find. TFTC
Very nice walk with family and Mosh the GeoLab who met quite a few four legged friends on the way. A busy area even late in the afternoon on a bitterly cold day. A very nice large and dry cache. Met a council employee muggle walking his dog at gz who had heard of geo caching and was interested in the cache. He said the area floods and hopes it doesn't get swept away. Left Tauranga Primary School's TB. TFTC!
