Logs
Today I was invited along to cache with the logan gang of roddyc, hatzofff, imbunda and ring in, echocage1. The plan today was to drive out west ways, then work our way around, skirting Toowoomba and then back towards home. Plus a clean up a couple of caches for maintenance and collect a few caches as well. This cosmic challenge has gotten people out about and all for a couple of souvenirs. It was a fun day and although I already had half the caches on the list today, I still had an enjoyable time and got in a few laughs. A good company group to cache with.We headed along a trail of caches and into the hills and some awesome views. There were a few along the Pharaoh's trail before we headed up the hills further to some very scenic spots. The logs were signed and the caches were replaced as found, thanks for the caches in this area.
Today was a trip up in the Lockyer Valley with RoddyC, Hatzofff, chamad and Echocage1 to gain a few Smilies and also earn some points for Cosmic Quest.Soon had the cache, log signed before replacing as found. It sure was a beautiful day . TFTC
OCW hatzofff, RoddyC, Imbunda, and Chamad in the Lockyer Valley today. All good.TFTC
With hatzofff, imbunda, echocage1 and chamad for a pleasant Sunday caching around the Lockyer Valley.Stopped by as part of the Multi Quick find.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 3:00 PM on August 4, 2024. TFTC, Team DOMALZAC.

Placed our trackable that we took from a gorgeous campsite in Hokkaido Japan a few weeks ago
My main focus today was on the multi but if I could grab the other caches then all the better. A nice quick find to get the day started. TFTC
Decided a trip to Egypt was in order today, as we were staying close by (Elphinstone) Downloaded 11 caches as I knew we would probably be out of range for most of the day. What a abeautiful drive through the hills, but I would not like to have been Gorman and his band of intrepid travellers....What a top spot. Quick find Thanks Team DomalZac
3/7/2023 Find #6240
Pprime and I were out for some Wednesday Madness, albeit on a Monday. We had decided on Toowoomba being the location of today’s madness adventures, and were particularly interested in a few older caches.
Another interesting location. The breeze certainly picked up up here. After making our find we decided to make use of the amenities too - the water out of those pipes was freezing!
Thanks for the cache Team DOMALZAC.

The whole inside is dripping wet, didn't even try to sign log. Container is good though.

Found this one but it got a bit of water damaged so couldn’t sign it but we found it at least. Enjoyed the view at least. TFTC.
After a bit of a rummage around
The hiding spot eventually found
Put my name in the book
This one's off the hook
Put it back in its spot safe and sound.

DOMALZAC, thanks for the cache and the adventure, found with geoDIL (Davinells) while I'm visiting from Tassie.
I thought the just found nearby multi would be my last find, for the day, and for my trip to Qld.
However, it's hard to simply drive past, and I needed the nearby facility, so I decided on one last search!
Could do with some TLC, the logbook is very damp, and other contents less than pleasant. Otherwise it's doing well for a 12 yo cache.
A new logbook and bag, and a clean out would do nicely.
Luckily I carry a fairly good pen, otherwise signing would be difficult, at best.
But, thanks for the views.
Cheers, EPs.

Only took a few minutes to find. No pen inside, so make sure you bring your own the log itself seemed fine but everything else inside was a bit damp after the recent rain
Exploring the ins and outs of Toowoomba for a bit, picking up the odd cache or 3 as I travelled.
We hunted out some high points today to take in the range and valley in a few other spots, and somehow free-ranged our way here, so we're pleased to find a little history lesson at this neat little "lookout" point here. Nicer still to mark it on the geomap with a smiley, thanks Team DOMALZAC

After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one in the facing light. The cache was quickly located with using the light on my phone to help. After adding my name to the log, I returned the cache to its spot, then headed back to my accommodation before the cold air set in. TFTC
Heading home today via the Clifton-Gatton road and picking up a few caches along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches and enhancing our visit to the area.
After spending a few days in Toowoomba caching and attending a Event in Oakey, it was time to go home back to Brisbane. Not down the Range as most go by, but further south of Toowoomba then down thru Gatton. Found 14 caches of various shaped and sizes in some great locations. Thank you to all CO's for placing them in these locations. TFTC
Out and about today to find a few caches.
Found after a short search.
Interesting historical location.
