I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi BoyBoyBoy
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

As before. Logging has made this area no cacheable I advice it is removed.
GPS played up a bit due to the trees but after a bit of backtracking noticed a suspicious area and yippee found the cache, lots of treasure inside which we added to.

Out doing a few caches with friends, Isaacss and Angie33210. GPS took us a merry chase around but soon narrowed it done and found the cache filled with goodies. Left a little toy of my own too. TFTC
Nice cool find cheers author, see why its called wild chicken didn't see 1 but seen hole that I imagined got dug up by 1!!
Quick find today, I was scoping the car park here to see how busy it was. It was pretty busy. My target area was a little further down the road, and quiet as. Nice cache, thanks boyboyboy, and Dan.
Today I was at McLeans island, mainly because there are a series of dog walk friendly caches here and my main job while here is keeping my sister’s dog with me at all times.
So Jed the reluctant geo-terrier was along for the ride, and I think he appreciated the flat nature of the terrain today. It took us almost 2 hours to saunter through the caches in the area by which time my other sister gave me a call, on cue, and my priorities for the day changed.
But a very successful walk, in that all caches were found and in good condition, so thanks all COs, especially Kiwi864.

Nice find with the kids after a ride, GPS a bit average so had to persevere looking at most stumps.
No wild chickens were seen on my approach to the cache. It was great to discover this decent sized container well hidden and filled to the brim with swag. Nice work BoyBoyBoy and thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache for me to find today.
So nice being in the trees. My sister Team Welsh and I had a fun geocaching weekend away. So much fun. T4tc
Taking a dog for a big walk today and we parked here and wandered along to the other carpark where we had left another vehicle. This is a great place and lovely to find a cache near the start of our walk. Thanks
Our gps led us astray for a bit. Luckily we had plenty of eyes helping. The mrs eventually found it. Nice being surrounded by birdsong (mocking us?) as we hunt. TFTC
Thank you for the cache. Found while I was waiting for some bikers who were enjoying the trail.
Didn't see any wild chickens, but the friendliest fantail ever hopped around the cache and observed the signing.
After battling the strong winds and high temperatures of gracie7+Mum's Smurf & Eclipse caches, we thought this one would be a doddle. Wrong! Too many stumps ... GB Leader and I searched every one in a wide circle, without success.
#5243. The family is on holiday in the South Island and we are staying in Christchurch for a few days. I have a list of caches I am keen to locate. Mostly challenge finals, old caches, letterboxes and earthcaches. But picking up any traditional caches that are found nearby. Today the family decided to visit Orana Park. We stopped here for lunch first. I saw there were some nearby traditionals. Spent time looking for one but once at home I see it has been archived! This one was a much easier find. Wandered across the park and soon saw some tell-tale signs that a cache might be lurking there. Pleased to see it was the cache hiding spot. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding the cache here BoyBoyBoy.
Quick find and no blackberry. Thrilled about that after the last cache I did. Delighted to find a TB too. I like the cache name. Thanks for placing it!
I have been planning this trip for a while now as I had some airpoints due to expire and wanted to go somewhere for Wellington Anniversary Weekend. So I've made it a 4 day weekend and come down from Palmerston North for a caching road trip. I have two goals for this weekend, to get to 2500 caches before 23 January (which I've completed) as that is when I took up caching last year and to get caches on as many latitude minutes as possible that will hopefully qualify me for a challenge cache in the Manawatu. This is day four and my last day. I've had a great time and found over 200 caches but it's time to head home to reality.
Last cache for my Christchurch trip before I head to the airport. Had no trouble finding it. Dropped in my last trackable that's been with me since Palmerston North. TFTC

Cheap flights a few weeks back appeared on the screen so we grabbed them for a caching trip. Arrived this morning from Palmerston North and after picking up the rental car the first two were dnf's. Not a great start to the trip! We are heading down towards Ashburton to get a huge day in and get the numbers on a big run.
We really enjoyed this one. It took us a wee while and then I found the front door and bingo. No one around today so it was a leisurely sign and rehide and off we went. TFTC.

My mission is my first 3 day tramp on Stewart Island. The Seagnoid has Xmas off so we are off on an epic adventure with Zara around the South Island. Toby gets dropped off for his nose job so we are hanging around Christchurch for a couple of days with Zara. Giraffes are on my radar for today so we are heading for Orana Park.
Waiting for Orana park to open so this is close by. Ended up picking up heaps of rubbish then but alas no rubbish bins to put it all in. The cloud has pealed back and its now sunny and very hot. Another one bagged and tagged. cheers.

TaybeeDragon and I are off for a three day walk on Stewart Island. But we have a camper, so once you add in getting there and back, it's a three week trip. Day 4: Akaroa to Christchurch.
Lurking around the general area, waiting for Orana to open. Did some CITO on the way back to the car. It's going to be a nice sunny day (a blistering hot day, more like)

Headed out this way for a nice stroll with some family. Phone battery almost dead but managed to find this one. 3yr old and 7yr old were happy to retrieve and replace. Found, signed and returned. No TB. Thanks for a great cache.
Made my way in just before closing, no muggles about so easy find after a bit of poking around, TFTC 2016/20
Great Cache and well hidden Thank You. A Fav Point from me. GPS-good. HINT-good. CACHE-good
We were running around like wild chickens away from the busyness of the main area. Great hide, thank you!!!
Found with miyim. Took a while because my phone was not liking the area at all- but eventually we zeroed in on it. tftc
This was our first time geocaching. Miss 3 year old really enjoyed it! She took a little sponge and placed a minion toy. Thanks!

I went out today with cache_puppies and a friend of ours to do some geocaching. We decided to start at McLeans Island and find some of the caches. However, it got too hot so we decided to only do this one. Excellent find by cache_puppies and such a nice sized container!
parislaura, Team jacob and I flew to New Zealand for the 2015 Mega.
Never having been out of Australia before, this was a very exciting trip for me
What a wonderful thing is a Mega! Seeing fellow geocachers with their flags on driving around town, tooting at those who are at caches and meeting many new people
Today I had the honour and pleasure of caching with MorganEd, ADV and Lady of Dreams in their home country.
As much as I adore my Aussie caching friends, it's nice to catch up again with caching friends from overseas (MorganEd) and to meet and make new caching friends (ADV and Lady of Dreams), too.
Today's tally was only 26 cache finds which included 10 lab caches but it was a lovely day as we set out to get 12 cache types in the day and we achieved this goal
We didn't get to visit the zoo but we did get to visit this cache

We are logging all our NZ MEGA 2015 caches after the event so that we can say how much we enjoyed our experience in Christchurch/Kaiapoi. The weather was perfect … the programme excellent … the organising team had really excelled themselves to provide a wonderful weekend. Congratulations to them all. We were also impressed with the sponsorship the management committee had managed to acquire – thanks to them also. We found your cache, BoyBoyBoy, on the McLean’s Island ‘walk’, organised and managed by Bald Ed, on the Friday before the MEGA got underway. Thanks, Bald Ed for a great ride. TFTC.
Last one in the park for me today after a successful tour on the bikes earlier with the Friday Mega group. Wandered over from the last cache to make this find without any issues. Nicely hidden and a nice spot for a hide - TFTC
