Took a few seconds for my Geo senses to orientate themselves before zoning in on this cache.
This was another interesting description to read and understand before I could sort out the final coordinates. Some information provided by the cache owner let me to believe I could be very confident about how the cache was hidden and I was able to make a very quick find.
Called by to do a pre-mega owner check. Cache in good order. Updated the cache description to more accurately reflect the nature of the hide.
Solved ages ago. I learned a lot from this series. Figured Matariki would be a nice quiet time to make the retrieval. Thanks for the education and cache.
Finally solved this yesterday knowing I wanted to head that way today. Quick find fortunately, quite a lot of houses around here, hopefully no one was watching me through their window. Thanks for the informative puzzle and cache
A nice quick find at GZ as per hints.
The container and contents seem nice and dry.
I have enjoyed this puzzle series- I have solved them all and am slowly getting around to making the finds as and when I'm in the area.
Two more to go I believe- but I'm saving them for early 2023 to use towards monthly spelling challenges.
Thanks for the informative puzzles and well maintained hides

Continuing on the calendar series. Solved a while ago, I think before the first two.
Today was a mystery dot day, so I chose to come out here. No problems spotting the container but at the first glance I was a bit confused about retreival. Turned out not to actually be a problem.
Kia ora! Paldies!

I was out and about in SW Christchurch signing off a few puzzles that I had solved mearly 4 years ago.
Solved awhile ago and had to wait until the school kids went home. Replaced the old munted log sheet with a new waterproof paper one.
Cheers for the cache.

A great interesting puzzle we enjoyed researching. Took Mr C for a ride to pick this up today. Celebrating him being out of hospital and wanting to geocache plus a special souvineer day. Had to choose a special cache, so a fav from us. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache StreetWalkerNZ.
having solved these Calendar puzzles it was time to pick some of them up . this was a very neatly hidden cache but quickly located here at the gates . Thank you for this puzzles and the cache
Very informative puzzle that I first got slightly wrong when I looked at the map decided to try another number I had and that looked more promising. Turned out to be spot on and all good here. Thank you for the work that went into this one. TFTH
Very interesting cache, along with the others in the series. Couldn't quite sort out correct final figures x 2. With a bit of help from another cacher, all sorted and a happy find today. Cache all safe and dry. TFTH and the "homework"!
Solvled this one a while ago, mopped up the nicely hidden final under the scrutiny of a very friendly cat today on the way to mini golf. TFTC
I solved this ages ago so it was about time that I actually found the cache. A nice quick find today.
3rd one found! Nearly gave up again as it was so dark. GPS was spot on though. Thanks for the cache and for the puzzle. 3 down, 2 to go tonight.
Final find in the series - really enjoyed solving these puzzles. After reading the description and checking the final coordinates we decided to wait until the school holidays - only to find some people playing with a digger nearby. But sheltered enought - so no problem at all. Thanks for the series and this hide.
Realized that we had solved another in this series- and we were at the Riccarton Market this morning, so did a little detour to grab this one. Nice and easy on a quiet Sunday morning. tftc
After a yarn and look over the SPOTNZ beacon stuff I was cruising home and after confirming that nothing needed to be done thought I'd grab a couple of caches, looked up my solved corrected coords. Thank you for the lesson. I can say I was schooled up on this. A nice quick find.

Thanks for the puzzle and generous hints which made it a quick find at the GZ. The location is well themed. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
I solved this one a while ago but was never in the area at the right time of day. We were passing this morning and I thought Saturday would be a good time to grab this cache. Saw the likely hiding place as we approached so we were in and out quickly.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Thought I'd solved this a while ago but when I went to my initial gz it wasn't at the right place! Should have read the logs and description more closely! Back to the drawing board. Hmm. One number wrong. Today was a good day to return having adjusted my coordinates. No problems today. No one about. Thanks for the interesting research StreetWalkerNZ. Nice to learn something as well as score a cache.
Showing some love to caches that don't get found often (cleaning up my list of solved puzzles). Given the warnings re mini-muggle proximity I wasn't sure what to expect here. At 1pm on a weekday it wasn't a problem, with the cache in the 1st place I looked (most likely hide spot) it was done and dusted in no time.

As usual it is debsnz who solves the puzzles and then it is up to me to make the find at GZ. Our co-ords proved to be spot on. Found with debsnz
Down from Auckland for the night so hooked up with Sonia26642 and Hinemoana for a couple of hours of caching before going to the airport to work through the night. A nice easy cache to find. Thanks for the fun cache find. TFTC!!!

I was at work, thinking about leaving shortly, when I got a call from FMZ saying he was in town asking if I wanted to come caching... hmm... had lots to do at home, mega stuff... hmmm but caching..? Needed my cache for the day anyways! And what better excuse to find a few more!
So, caching it was! Picked mum up from work too, and on our way we were!
The main area we decided to go was ticking off some unfound puzzles, as I hate sitting on solutions too long, and these are far enough away from home that I could justify sort of finding more than one in a day...
Another one for the evening. This was a pretty straight forward find also. Managed to get a great park so late in the evening too!

Really enjoying this series. We had a great day today biking around with making coffee on a gas cooker when looking for Beware of the Ides, (no success yet) then back home to figure out this one and A week of it! So those two done, with one left... tftc's : )
Solved some time ago so nice to complete the formalities on this one today. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
On the must-do list. I laughed when I saw where the final was placed. Quick find thanks.
I figured this time of year was a good time to be searching for this cache. Turned up at a deserted GZ and the cache was an instant find. Yep, could be interesting during certain times of day during the year here. Thanks for the history lesson used to solve this puzzle. Thanks for the cache.
I have solved this puzzle ages ago as part of a series by streetwalkerNZ. So much enjoyed the puzzle and the series!
Last night realised that I haven't found my cache, so rushed off to get this relatively easy one (and realised why it was a bad idea to do it around the school hours).
Very easy find with great coords, TFTC! Adding it to my favourites.

Nicely hidden. I am on my way to completing the A-z puzzle challenge. This was my letter v puzzle.
Nosynel loves to solve and i love to find, So she does all the hard work and i help find. Works for me. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache.
Solved the cache then like others then discovered I had one digit wrong. I can blame Wiki for this! Used a more reliable website and soon had the right answer. Arrived at the correct GZ this time and spotted it quickly. Great spot for a hide. TFTC
Must have had a digit wrong somewhere, my gz was 180 metres away. Looked at the description and took a drive around the corner, and spotted a likely hideout. Success! A fav for the fun of the chase. Thanks for the hide.
Today we are on a mission. When I was preparing a day's geocaching in ChCh I found the Z-A Zalphabet Puzzle Challenge and found that we were only 10 puzzles short of finishing the challenge. So that is what we are doing today. This is the first of them and thats V ticked off. Easy find and an interesting puzzle.
One of several puzzles solved long ago. Was heading to the racecourse for a luncheon engagement and had to to spare to drive by and find it. Minor hiccup when the batteries died getting out of the car. Rummaged in my bag- walla - off across the road for a quick find. TFTC
Spent a little bit of time searching for the answers to this one. Checking two sources at least to cut down on mistakes. Finally got to GZ tonight in the dark and rain to find GZ all to ourselves. Nice quick find and sign after all the work. Now just have to get to the others TFTC
After needing help on both of the other caches it was somewhat of a relief to solve this one entirely myself. Just happened to be in the area and popped in. Perfect timing as not a soul in sight. Tftc and for the series. Geocaching is teaching me a lot.
Find number 27 out of 45 today. A puzzle solved last year in preparation for the Mega. Lucky I kept that list of Waypoints eh. A nice quiet spot to park up for a coffe and a sandwich as well. SL TFTC cheers Geoff
A bit of puzzle day as we where picking up a nearby series so as we had solved this a little while ago we did a small detour to make the pick up. Just as well we did this on a non school day. Nice little hide. We completed the signing duties and re hid. LN TFTC
Quick easy find for a fantastic cache. Thoroughly deserves a favorite. Thanks Streetwalker

An excellent educational puzzle, relatively simple find. Few people around on a Sunday afternoon.
Thanks for the effort with the info and quiz, also for the cache.
Thanks for the effort with the info and quiz, also for the cache.
An easy find once we had worked out the coords and with a muggle watching from his garage across the road. TFTC
With frustration kicking in not being able to get the right answers and a set of coordinates that looked right, I turned to trial and error for the last number which I thought was wrong. I'm glad that paid off, and now the answer (working backwards) is obvious and I am wondering why it took me so long to get it... Why have these time/date caches taken me so long?! Presumably they're not supposed to be hard... oh well that's the last of them and I am glad to have them off my list, now just one more StreetWalkerNZ cache left in Christchurch I haven't found, that looks like another head scratcher! I will leave that one for another day! TFTC (854)
260 - I like reading about Julius Caesar and this filled in the gaps about the calendar dates that were quoted in the books, they finally made sense! This was one of the early puzzles I solved but it has taken me quite a while to be in the right area to collect it. I was out enjoying the sun this afternoon and was nearer gz than I have been for quite some time so made the detour to pick it up. TFTC.
You learn something new everyday in this sport, I had picked up the rudimenties of this but Dwarp did the final polishing which led to a pleasing result.
Thanks

Had a good old google search to get the info for this one. Great to find a cache at the coords. All quiet here on Sunday afternoon. TFTC
Enjoying this series. Learnt more about dates, Weeks and calendars than I thought I ever would. Easily found, SL.
Mrs SoBad really enjoyed this series so the caches were high up the list of ones to try for in our trip to Christchurch. We had time to find a few this afternoon before visiting friends and good co-ordinates made it a quick find. Thanks.
An educational puzzle cache, which took a little bit of google research to get right. The final GZ street name seemed appropriate to the theme. However, I was most impressed with the hide, which without a hint took a little bit of thought to figure out.

Was in Christchurch for a long weekend with Mrs Yeetrees and decided that we would do a few caches in our spare time. After going to a function in the morning we had a bit of a break for a few hours so we decided that we would go and grab a few caches. After managing to solve this cache while we were at home in Wellington I checked it on Goggle to make sure that I knew where it was hidden and decided that I would grab it when we had spare time, as luck should have it today was the perfect opportunity, managing to find a carpark not too far from GZ, it was a quick and easy walk to the cache, we managed to find it quickly, thanks for placing the cache here and for bringing us to this lovely spot, TFTC TNLNSL (4131)
Yah! finally a mystery to log have managed to solve several puzzles without actually finding the cache.
In town for work but with some spare time. A challenge I noticed recently gave me the added incentive to go for a few multis and puzzles, which I sometimes don't make the time for when I'm just visiting. I remember solving this puzzle ages ago and then losing the solution. I rechecked my answers recently and decided to make and effort to get around to these caches on my next visit to CHC. Nice puzzle and a bold hide too! TFTC, Biggles.
#580: Veni, Vedi, Vici!
I worked this one through about a week ago, and couldn't get out to make the find until today. Came out with GeoYoungling #3 to try our luck, and after tying my shoe, was able to make the find, sign, and re-hide. No one around on this Sunday, which was a good day to come for it.

Surprisingly easy find, was not at all confident on the drive there. Picked up geocoin. Very enjoyable
Didn't need geochecker for this one. The hint about the institution was enough to look confidently, in thankfully, the right area. This continued this super little series and one that we really enjoyed. Thank you.
Solved last week and completed the 'paperwork' while in town today. Placed Geocoin, thanks for an interesting cache.
3679. Solved the puzzle/quiz some time ago but have not been out this way. Had a seminar at the place of the false coordinates today so decided to pick this up on the way (as you do!)after looking on the maps to see where the actual gz was. Nice interesting and informative cache. Thanks Rodney & Iris - Sallies
Sort of solved this a few nights ago. Wasn't sure of one answer but all possibilities were close to each other. Arrived at 'GZ' just on daylight (having missed a flight to Wellington fo the day). Plugged in the options to see which would be best and then tried the most likely. Easily found. Thanks for the history and the cache.
Fitting this was our #50 puzzle in the last 9 months since we started - definately the easier of the series . Learned much as we worked our way through. Looked at the situation from the right angle so was quickly in hand and on the corrct day. TFRC LGM
Solved a while ago and finally made it on a definitely small muggle free day. Replaced a little lower than found so shoelace tying will work for the next cacher. TFTC.

A quick find on a wet non school day . The three boys went off to the hardware store (or was that just an excuse to go caching ). Cracked earlier in the week, just need a reason to be heading this way. TFTC.
Solved this ages back, and had forgotten to go out and log it. Opps Decided I'd better head out and get it. Easy find. Cheers Gav [7094]
Visited this cache today - a nice quick find.
Fortunately Gavin had solved it for me.
Fortunately Gavin had solved it for me.
5502 An interesting puzzle, enjoyed researching all the old facts, thankfully GZ was deserted today, nice hide, thanks for the cache.
Quick find and it didn't take as long to solve as first thought. Now if only I could work out that counting backwards thing for the sister cache.
Quite a puzzle to figure out, got it in the end with a bit of an educated guess. Learning lots about old time calenders from this series of caches. No problems at GZ this morning, the rush was well over when I arrived. TNLN Thanks.
The second of the series that I have found and both were really educational and enjoyable to solve. Cheers StreetWalkerNZ! #600
The puzzle was solved methodically some time ago, and unlike Beware the Ides, the cache was a quick easy find in the dark tonight. TFTC
I love this series! It's fascinating to learn how these weird ways of marking time developed. It's great to see such familiar things from such a different persective. A bit of research allieviated my "ultimate" confusion, and soon enough the cache was in hand. No sign of muggles after 4 today. TFTC Non. Sex. MMX
Thought that today would be a good day to find this one but when we arrived at GZ the Foulton Hogan crew were there in force fixing the road so we went and looked for some others while they finished there work.Came back this way on the way home and found the cache quickly.TFTC
Solved this puzzle back home in Auckland on the night it was published, and today was the day to make the find. We liked the appropriate final site. The cache was a little exposed and higher than expected, so replaced lower and more hidden. Thanks for bringing back memories of Latin and Roman history from distant schooldays!

You don't need a calendar to tell you what day it is, as long as you've got your GPS to tell you where you are! Happy caching....
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come not to bury Caesar but to advise you that on this a.d. V Non. Mai. I have located and signed the log. Heil to Ceasar and Streetwalker for making this possible.
On this a.d. V Kal. Mauis, due a combination of the after effects of aspirin plus the beef and vegetable (with peanut satay sauce) consumption, I have recovered enough to make a valiant attempt at this brain breaker. The proof will be in the log signing (or not).
Veni, vidi, vici! Found at about 8:10 this morning, that's about 12 hours after publication. Where was everyone?
Solved last night, although the brain was screaming. Maximus confusionis, but got there in the end.
(Couldn't think of the date so just put Friday in the log.)
TFTC.

Hey hey its Friday Well that is the last time that I underestimate Troodles. Debated getting out of bed to collect this...nah midnight's a bit rich. Even if I had gone at crackers I would have missed the FTF. Nice bit of info to ingest and a nice easy pickup - yay for non foliage hides. TFTC (116)
veni, vidi, killed&dried ? Nah! But you could understand if JC (Julius Caesar) was assassinated more for the politics of playing around with the calendar than Cleo ! Wonder if SW's next time cache will be even more insane-st confusionest ? Forgot what day it is today, maybe ad IX Kal Mai & even with the lovely sunny day there were no sundials handy to tell the time but definitely before lunch as my tummy was rumbling for some tucker! Thanks, SW.
Got a likely looking solution. We'll be in Christchurch in a few weeks to make the find. (Had just finished solving 'A Week of It' tonight when this cache was published!) Interesting puzzles, thanks.
