Has not been found since december 2013. Had a look around as well on 13.1.15 but could not be found.
Dnf & been back twice. Man that worked there asked what we were doing- he'd never heard of geocaching so we left...
Tried finding since its seems hard for everyone else to find but way to may moggels will be back at night time will let you guys no if I find it
Lots of materials and items in the way and although we looked the GZ led to an inaccessible area. Maybe next time.
DNF... Lots of stuff piled up around GZ and too difficult to not look suspicious climbing around the pallets of stuff.
Lots of stuff right on gz hard to get to all parts to have a good look. Had a poke and a prod but no success today.TFTC
A number of tries resulting in DNF's and while trying to dodge muggles, I can finally say this cache was found with help from hem3ah and dazzpete. Cheers GeoFriends.
No trackables in the cache however, only a log book.

To stay in for lunch or to go out, that is the question! Of course when you need to collect a cache to continue your streak there is really only one answer. To kill two birds with one cache we came over here to attempt this one we had previously DNF'd. Despite a long weekend, or maybe because of it, there were a lot of muggles around and we had to gauge our attempts. The find eventually went to geoP after a spurt of searching. A sign and return before we headed nearby for lunch.

I like the different containers. Did not worry about the Muggles, just kept on looking.

Back in Townsville for a couple of days, before we start our journey west.
Picking up a few that we missed or couldn't find on our first visit.
Couldn't attempt this one last time as there were too many muggles in the area.
With geo-wife standing guard, cache was easily found today.
Thanks for the cache, braelair.

North Qld 2013. Day 8 was Charters Towers to Townsville. Things were quiet here today and I was able to poke around until I located this one. Thanks.

One and a half days to grab as many caches in Townsville as we could. The caches were randomly chosen to give us a look all over the city. This one took a while even though we were on the right track about the hide. Muggles were a bit of a problem in what we thought would be a quiet search area. Thanks.
Was shopping in the nearby supermarket today and decided to look for the cache.
While I was searching a guy turned up out of nowhere and asked if he could be of assistance, because this was his building . So I told him what I was doing and he then told me that he had noticed people hanging around this corner of the building and, about a year ago, he had also found a notebook with signatures in it underneath this part of the building and had always wondered what it was. Nice person he is, he had actually kept it in his office since then .
So braelair, if you want the old notebook let me know and I send it to you

Found quickly not sure why the clue says you need a fork??? we didn't need anything to retrieve the cache. Not in a black systema... TFTC
It was hot this afternoon. I found myself wishing I was inside skating on thin ice. Had signed the log and was about to replace the cache when a muggle pulled up right beside me. When he slipped into a nearby shop I used my fork and was onto the next one.

The McClan's Travel Slug Geocoin was placed in Skating On Thin Ice! by kaisho53 on 14 Aug 10 and hasn't been seen since 03 Sep 10 when Bushfire discovered it.

On 19 Dec 11 braelair logged a "Found it" and wrote "Oops, the minor maintenance was a complete cache container replacement ..... the original one was 'goooooone'! Sorry, but also looks like the 2 x trackables that were in the cache have gone as well. I will advise the owners...".
As Cache Owner I wouldn't expect a Found, especially when the log says "didn't find it, it was gone", but I would expect the Cache Owner to Mark the missing trackables as Missing.
Now is the time for the Cache Owner to Mark 'The McClan's Travel Slug Geocoin' as Missing.

My first cache find in Townsville and my first in Queensland!
I decided, while on my way to my accommodation tonight, to grab this one, as many fun times were had at this establishment when I lived here as a teenager.
The hide was located after a short search and the log signed.

TFTC Braelair. Found while out doing some shopping in the area and decided, with the owners permission, that I would take it along too so the log book could dry out on my front dash. An hour later, well maybe two?, all dried out and now sealed in a snap lock bag.....good to return to it's coordinates. SL TN LN. Then went inside for a boo peep, I so miss skateing; be a bit afraid to go now...would probably fall A over H!
Found easily cache is soaking wet and log wet. Managed to sign no trackables seen in it. Tnln tftc.
A nice eay find in a very predictable spot. The challenge was the muggle factor and trying to deal with the saturated log. Dried as best I could but still to wet to sign. Folded the page origami style to prove I was there. Geo ferals thought the grafitti near by was hilarious! I was not impressed.

The clue provided didn't make any sense until we arrived at the GZ.
Many possible hides, but it was at that time that we thought of the hint and it narrowed down the options very quickly.
Many thanks for a sneaky hide braelair. I imagine that it would get very busy in this area at times.

Despite the school holidays and lots of mini-muggles going to the rink for parties this one was quite easy to do without anyone looking over my shoulder. TFTC.
TFTC, though we think we made the locals nervous as some old ladies were death staring Psilonike the whole time.
A very hot day to be out caching today, but a I was in the area and thought this one might cool me off.
At GZ I found the cache in no time and took it back to the car for signing.
Unfortunately the brand new log book is totally saturated and mushy and I could only just manage to gently scribe my name.
This one may need some attention before the log book washes away.
Cheers and happy caching.

I was the last to have this and it was in good order.
It did bucket down last night, but it shouldn't have got that wet where it was.

Cache container is now a thin metal container which will NOT hold any swaps, but I did leave a small pressie there for the next finder.

Looks like some minor maintenance needed, so it will be back around the 15th December!
Found it No. 3895 ... liked the clue ... took TB and left coin ... TFTC braelair
Parked pretty much on top of it, not too hard to find though. Left the VB travelbug so it can continue on mission. Travelslug geocoin not here though. Left a couple of UK coins. TFTC.
A couple of cars parked in a great spot meant I could look with no problems. Cache was quickly found and the log signed.

Finally had time to replace. Dropped off on 10 March and forgot to log it as back!
Pulled out for the cyclone. Will replace into the hide once the all clear is given and the clean up has concluded.
Went off and found this while waiting for our Pasties to finish cooking at the local Pie shop. Used car as a decoy and parked right beside. Understood the clue after we had located.

Great cache. Good fun. A few muggles so we had to sit and chat for a while before signing the log.
Finally found this one after looking once before and being unsuccessful. My reluctant companion was the actual finder. There was no geocoin in the cache but it is still listed as being there. I am continuing my travels in 2 days time and hoped to take the coin overseas.

Seeing that a newbie found it in the dark I returned (all the way from Sydney???) - pulled up in the car alongside, got in the right position and found it in about three seconds this time! Signed the log while I ate my lunch and replaced the cache. Thanks! One more off the DNF list!
This is my first ever GeoCache. I'm happy to join the worldwide hunt! =)
Good fun - a little difficult at night and in the rain.
Can't wait to find the next one.

Had a pretty good look and feel in what I thought would have to be the right places according to the clue. Didn't want to look too suss by hanging around forever but if it's there then it's well hidden.
Found on ground in a puddle of water from last nights rain
I take it the magnets aren't strong enough or the blu-tac isn't allowing them to do their job.

Okay, this one is taking a little longer than planned. Swaps being added to the cache are great, but I am going to add to the main listing noy to place large metallic objects in the cache, they tend to pull the magnets holding the cache in place right out of their housings. Should have this one replaced and running again by the afternoon of 3 October.
Just pulling this one in for a bit of magnetic maintenance. Back in an hour or so.
Well, I didn't forget Mother's Day ..... and I didn't have much trouble finding this cache ..... again, NO help from the owner Geodad (this is a recurring theme).

Gah - last time this one was too hard, this time it couldn't have been easier! Sometimes things are just easier by night!
haha i didnt even found this one. i had help from a friend. but it was still alot of FUN!!!!
I was surprised to see an ice rink up here. Was lucky to be able to park the geomobile next to GZ but I had a guy sitting in his car so out waited him and then grabbed the cache from a spot that I did not think the cache would be. I now understand what the hint means as I used to drive one of them in a previous life.
Bushfire is a devious hider so I would not have placed it where it is.
Thanks braelair for showing me this area.
