This cache hasn't been found in 12 months only 1 mistaken log. It appears that the CO is no longer active maybe it needs archiving so no one else comes looking.

22-Sep-18
Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

GeoCrater

I had hoped to drive up this road for some sights and walking, but the rain had ruled out the GeoMazda6, which is already damaged from previous forest drives. There were a few options around GZ but I found the right one and the cache, which was just a bit damp. Thanks for a great hide.

We found this Cache quite easily, and then proceeded to tackle the forest road down to Platypus Flat camping area for a swim. It is not a road for the faint hearted, we had our swim and decided to take the other road which takes you through to Dorrigo. However we took a wrong turning and got lost traveling many more km's than we should have and spent an hour and a half getting back to civilisation, quite an adventure. TFTC.

Thanks appips for placing these caches.

I am usually conflicted between trying to find as many caches as possible, and doing one a day so it stays memorable - there are attractions to both philosophies. Took today off work to follow the first option and see how many caches on the "Dorrigo Loop" I could find. Also to publicize the upcoming 2014 New England Cachers meet and greet event as I log my finds.

This was #7/24. What a nice spot which I'd never even heard of. Found at 11.00am. Cache seems in good state. Took nothing, left eraser, pen. TFTC Appips

We went on the Moonpar Forest Trail today. A brief stop to get things out the boot and read the info sign were enough time for me to find the cache and sign the log. Dino and Pebbles did their swaps.

Thanks appips, we are planning on going to Platypus Flat camp ground after we visit Dorrigo, and probably wouldn't have seen the turn off without the cache. TN, left a mobile ph fridge magnet.

Something caught our eye as we drove up towards GZ and led us towards where we thought the cache would be. However with a slightly different perspective the real GZ showed itself and the cache was in hand in no time. Thanks for placing the cache here for us to find today Appips.

Dark clouds and thunder heralded our approach from Dundurrabin and the heavens opened a few kms short of GZ. Easy find but had to wait before we could put it back as a log truck and two campervans had pulled up to shelter from the storm. We have camped at Platypus Flat and the Cod Hole before but the weather today dictated a pub room in Dorrigo. Left a german geo-coin. Thanks appips.

I have been out this way plenty of times and have enjoyed camping and walking in the area. It's a very beautiful and peaceful place.

Finding the cache was easy as it was very exposed, so I ensured it was well covered before I left. I left my geocoin that I received as part of attending the Oz Mega Event in Wagga Wagga at Easter.
