Looked in lots of places that fit the hint or sort of did, on both sides of the bridge but no luck for us today - that makes 3 DNFs in a row - one of the worst runs we've had. Time to go home and try again another day.
DNF
I think I understood the place correctly but either I wasn't able to get my hand in far enough or I was wrong.

Gave this one a fairly good go, the bridge was not busy tonight, but I still didn't manage to find it.
I couldn't grab it, but my wife could. Thanks for the cache.

Yup this one wasn't too difficult. Mrs beconaze has nice long slender hands making the retrieval easy. Being both tall we spent a bit of time looking far too high before we made the find
Great way to get some exercise and fresh air while my mother rested in hospital. Thanks for the hint. I was intrigued being my first nano. I took it away from GZ to fill out and ended up taking it with me to find The Scary Cache near by before returning it. Apologies if another geocacher come looking in that time [8)]
7133. Had a spare day while Iris was at a conference so walked around doing some inner city caches. Found eleven altogether. This was find number six and an unexpectedly easy one. The hardest part was making sure I didn't drop it!!! Thanks for the cache. Rodney.
Greetings from Wellington. Up for a conference and had a few hours to get from the hotel to Vector Arena, so why not walk and collect a few caches along the way! Crazy weather - pouring with rain one moment, sunshine the next.
Only had limited searching opportunities between muggles so took a while find this one. Got there in the end. Nice views from the bridge. TFTC.

I can't believe B didn't find this already as he works nearby! We'd tried to find this a couple of years back with no luck. This time it was easy peasy! TFTC. Love this bridge.
Found this one with my mate nzguy as he just magically pulled it out haha, high muggle area in auckland city have only just started to find caches here, i am used to a rural area haha. TFTC SL

Last one for the night after grabbing a few caches after work. Despite being well dark there were still plenty of pedestrian muggles about. Also an amazing view from here with all the night lights.
Completed a stealthy search between muggles and soon had the cache in hand. Very cold and windy here tonight so was very careful not to drop the log as it would have been gone. Having completed the paperwork cache was returned to its hide. Thanks for the placement mahupeka - clever spot.

Thanks for showing me this location and the cache!

Sorry for logging late...
This cache was visited by me either during the one month (February 2015) of hiking/tramping in NZ together with Bärgegumperli or in March/April 2015 while on a bicycle trip across NZ and AUS.
We/I enjoyed geocaching a lot.
Hiking
Hikes:
- Abel Tasman NP: Motueka, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Inland Track, Separation Point, Coastal Track, Marahau.
- Nelson Lakes NP: St. Arnaud, Hopeless Hut, Travers Saddle, Blue Lake, Waiau Pass, Thompson Pass, D'Urville Valley, Lake Angelus, St. Arnaud.
- Arthur's Pass NP: Mt Brown Hut, Styx Valley, Browning Pass, Whitehorn Pass, Waimakariri Valley, Jordan Saddle, Hut Spur, Arthur's Pass, Mt Aicken
- Bridle Path
The weather conditions were great for tramping almost every single day. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the peace in some very remote areas and the many friendly people we met on our way or in the different huts.
Cycling from Dunedin to Auckland
It is not my first tour with this bicycle (map with long loading time).
Places along the route: Dunedin, Otago Central Rail Trail, East Manuherikia track, Tekapo, Fairlie, Geraldine, Oxford, Waipara, Hanmer Springs, Jacks Pass, Island Saddle, Picton, Wellington, Homedale, Hutt River Trail, Masterton, Pongaroa, road near Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu, Waipukurau, Fernhill, Taupo, Whakamaru, Tirau, Hauraki Rail Trail, Kawakawa Bay, Aukland.
After one month of perfect weather (see above) I finally got what I had to expect: Some rain... And sometimes stron headwinds. That the route was not flat at all meant usually that the landscape is great .
*
Cycling from Melbourne to Darwin
Places along the route: Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Penshurst, Edenhope, Jervois Ferry, Sedan, Tanunda, Crystal Brook, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Uluru/Ayers Rock, The Olgas/Kata Tjuta, Mereenie Loop, Alice Springs, Karlu Karlu/Devil's Marbles, Litchfield NP, Mandorah, Darwin.
Along the coast the weather was often wet and cold. The small roads in Victoria and South Australia were very pleasant to ride despite a lot of headwind. This changed as soon as I reached the Stuart Hwy to sometimes strong tailwinds. That's why I had some "spare" time to ride a loop in the Red Centre. Further north
As in NZ i met some awesome people.

Guess what I did while waiting for a connecting plane in Perth?
Greetings from Switzerland / Gruess us dr Schwiiz
*There are a lot(!) of caches which I did not search while on the bicycle trip. The reasons are mainly:
1. Stopping slows if one wants to get somewhere, especially on bridges where no one wants to slow down a fully loaded touring bike. Yes, there were quite a few days with >200 km on the pushbike...
2. Riding or resting next to a loaded (recumbent) bike attracts in some areas so much attention that stealth mode is not possible.
3. On rare occasions I rode during the night. If I had to do that there was no time to search for caches anyway [:-(]
4. Some places I did really not consider worth stopping for a cache... Sorry.

Looked for this Nano for about 10 mins and we thought that we were on the right location of the Cache but our hands were to big to get inside the hollow places.
I had a look today- and looks like it's been either muggled, or put back on the wrong place. I will re-check tomorrow and replace if necessary.
6th for day, heading to an event in Auckland domain, hubby had car so decided to bus in and work my way to domain cache by cache (easier doing the city one by foot anyway).
Thankfully being a Sunday it wasn't too busy. Had no trouble locating cache, just worried about dropping it while retrieving, putting back was harder.
Loved seeing the old photo, great cache. TFTC

Needed a cache today for our matrix so decided on this one after being in the City to watch the show Limbo (which was amazing!). Took a few minutes of searching before we found it. TFTC
Great View.
Found it during my roundtrip in newealand Feb+Mar 2015.

I have visited it yesterday - and now it's really gone.
I have ordered new nanos last night. They should arrive next week.

Wow, thanks a lot for this lovely cycling-cache. Made me very happy, I was on low air anyway
This is a favorite, without a doubt!
This is a favorite, without a doubt!
Think this one is gone spent a while looking with no luck then looked at all the precious dnfs
Viaited whilst walking from the domain to the city. Unfortunately had no success finding this cache. Given the number of DNFs, perhaps cache owner might confirm the cache is still there.
Possibly because I was a little deterred by the last cache which ended in a dnf, I also left here without a find. Not a good day so far... Great bridge though!
Oh wow, this one. I managed to find it on my THIRD visit to GZ! Even then, I still spent a good half hour there, "taking photos" and *admiring the view". Yes, it was harder to return than retrieve! The clue never really clicked, until I found it! Making it a massive aha moment. Nice placement.
TFTC!
TFTC!
There were not many places where it could be but it still took some time until I finally found the right place. My favourite cache in Auckland. TFTC
Tried at night but my GPS was unsure which side of the bridge. I checked the GZ on maps, but it didn't bring me joy on a second quick visit this morning. The view was great though. TFTC.
Great view from here on a sunny morning. Luckily there were a limited number of places I needed to look to make the find. Signed the log "jvw". Thanks.
I was finally at gz at a suitable time even though way past my bedtime!! Really enjoyed a nice walk from a lovely dinner, and then I realised that it would be a perfect time to find the cache! Not many people around just before 11pm, so I had the luxury of retrieving a nd replacing the cache at leisure - TFTC!!!!

Was told I have to do this, and so we made our way to GZ with a must find attitude. After a short search, once the GPS settled we had our find. Thanks again for the hide.

Got myself dropped off at K rd end, and whilst the man drove, I walked across. Very busy place, lots of people strolling by and the buses drive by with a wosh. Thought to myself where can it be, only a few places it can be, was more worried that I could drop it into the abyss below! not today, safely back in its home for the next cacher. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Looks like I was just in front of, or just behind another cacher at the site. Approaching from the north, my GPS homed right in on the spot. Now where would you hide something here, considering all that steel everywhere. Aha, I think...check for passing muggles and yes, it was in hand. I should have brought a magnifying glass to sign the tiny logsheet - but at least it was not as tightly packed as some I've seen. The placement could take a larger container than a nano - I see no point in placing a tiny cache when a larger one will fit the space. Nanos should be kept for those wonderful spots where it is impossible to get anything larger in there - I've seen a number of magnificent examples. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2276)
Harder to return than to retrieve - it's so tiny I was afraid of getting fumble fingers and dropping it on some poor person's windscreen as they were passing underneath! REALLY hard to re-roll that log sheet to get it back in the container too - LOL! BTW, that photo is a red herring... TFTC
This was a cool find considering I run past here lots. Also introduced 2 friends to Geocaching so this very micro cache was a good one to start with.
This one has eluded me no more, found on way to work, harder putting it back then making the catch. My phone app co-ordinates were way out jumping between 68.8m and 140m on the other side of the road. Thanks for putting this one back in place:-)
Did a rescue replacment until the owner is here. Hopfully ok. Thanks for inventing and hiding. Lemmer
Were excited with the previous note as to cache maintenance. Looked around before the hint really narrowed it down a lot... To one spot (or the symmetrical sibling). Was fortunate to be able to use my phone frontal camera and screen as a mirror and light, thinking I could definitively tell where it was, but we unfortunately came out with a definitive no through that method and with both long bulky fingers and medium skinny fingers. Sad panda.

I've been reading the DNFs since my visit.
The cache was there, as per the hint, although only just reachable with my fingers. I put it back carefully, but not so far, so that now shorter fingers would find it easier to remove. Although easier to reach now, it is still VERY awkward to get. Fingers need to be 'athletic'.

Searched high and low with no luck. I looked within a 10m area on both sides of the road. Found lots of good hollow places but nothing inside, at least not as far as I could reach.
This was a fairly easy find, but extraction was harder. I only just managed it. I replaced it so that it shouldn't be so difficult to extract for the next person. The log was full and I could only fit my initials, GW. TFTC.
I'm sure I checked there last time I was here! Found at last. Thanks for the rather long period of anticipation, great to have this one ticked off the list at last.
This had been our first trip to New Zealand. We spent three weeks here in this amazing country, which is unfortunately quite a short time. We saw a lot of gorgeous places, met very friendly people, could see the different landscapes like deserts, rain forests, glaciers and oceans. And of course animals like Kiwis (never thought that they are so big), dolphins, seals, glow worms, penguins (I love the blue ones). It was hard to say good bye and go back to the winter in Europe.
We hope to come back one time...Greetings from Germany / Switzerland.
After visiting the National Museum we explored the city per pedes and collected some caches. This was a very muggling place, but tourists like us have time to watch, to take pictures - therefore no one took notice of us while searching. Finally we got the small one. Yipieh
Thank you for maintaining the cache.

finally found! Teamwork with Indyjones_ (who put his finger on the spot... I'm sure I'd checked there on a differrent occasion, but good to be able to tick this one off now!). TFTC

Originally DNF this cache. Took three tries before we finally found it. A joint effort. Lots of muggles out on a rainy Friday evening made it difficult to put back in its little possy without causing suspicion. TFTC
We found this cache on our 3 week journey through New Zealand. Wonderful country. TFTC AchSu
Tried for ages while pretending to take photos... Actually got some nice ones. But sadly no luck with finding the cache today. Will try again sometime. Very high muggle area. Suggest taking a camera and some company so you look less obvious.
Was cool to get this Grafton Bridge one ! Not too hard after all !
Was visiting at Hospital ......last time I was on bridge was 3 years ago in my car ...... I drove over it not realising the restrictions and got a hefty fine ! I had just been at my granddaughters birth and head was in the clouds !

Up from Nelson for a meeting the following morning and as I was stopping nearby, decided to head out of the hotel and find a few caches. This one was found at 5.45pm so had to be very discreet and grab the cache between commuting muggles. I've never been on this bridge before so good to see somewhere new. TFTC!!
Quick, stealthy grab during a break from visiting my GF who is currently at the hospital...
Was nice to get outside, stretch my legs, get some fresh air and a fairly nice view... AND Day 20 of 31 Days of Geocaching
Log is full... But managed to find some spare space

There were a lot of muggels going to work on the bridge. I enjoyed the view and got it, thanks.
A quick find on a busy afternoon, but the muggles weren't really paying attention! TFTC
