We have replaced this cache so many times we have decided to ARCHIVE it and not replace. Every School holidays it seems to disappear.
It was a very popular cache. Apologies to cachers who are looking for Roaming in ROMA.

Had to flag this one on our first pass to out wait some muggles here who were happily sitting having a few beers. When we returned, they were gone but had so delightfully left their bottles Anyway, rant over.
Swearah and I each chose a seat and she got lucky with a quick find. TFTC jpgordo!

Pprime and I escaped Brisbane for the long weekend for the delayed public holiday for the Ekka. We hit the road to Emerald and back home via Roma.

We had time to drive around Roma to find a few caches and this one was a quick find.

My youngest and I are on a short roadtrip out west to see the sights and collect some smileys. Some great scenery spotted today on our slow trip from Roma to Dalby. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy

Almost muggled

Last day in town. Time to make the trip home. Thoroughly enjoyed our time out west. Already started planning the next trip!

TFTC. We are on the home after QOGM collecting some caches along the way. We had traveled from Charleville today and pulled up at the Roma Gun Club. After lunch we headed out to attempted the caches in Roma. A successful couple of hours with 10 finds. All found reasonably quickly.

I didn’t need to feel. I spotted it as soon as I sat down. Got splinters in my butt though. Thanks for the cache

Cunnamulla here I come.

Day 1 the long drive. Today’s mission was to grab high D/T caches. From Ravensbourne, Oakey and Wellcamp then out to Cunnamulla.
Lot of caching all containers good.

Day 2, after couple our sleep but not in a bed.
I start in the dark. Cache for a few hours then sleep again.
Now cache some more.

And yes closer I get to Cunnamulla. Yippie.

Day 3, got into Cunnamulla yesterday. Now caching around Cunnamulla. Pickup a few today.
Funny part not that many left to find.

Day 4 finish some Cunnamulla and then up to Wyandra had lots of fun today. Finish with the event.

Having spent the day getting to Roma, we’ve checked into our motel and enjoyed dinner… on the way back to the motel I suggested a cache or two…

This was found in the dark by PirateLinda while the rest of us were examining the wrong feature…

I got to use my new headlamp though… tftc…

I wouldn't say I was quick, but I did eventually find it. Most of my time was spent scrolling through social media on the lovely park benches. A first find in Roma though

After arriving in Roma early afternoon we dropped off the caravan and then headed into town for a coffee and cake. Very nice it was! Then headed just round the corner to this one and took another break while we found the cache.

On the road again today, continuing the long drive back to our home in Gippsland, we’ll over 1500 kms from here. A free over night stop at the Virgin Rocks and then this morning we are back on the road, heading to Roma. Very pleased to be able to stop and grab a few caches on our way. We appreciate the efforts of all the local CO’s in placing and mai tai ing theses caches. A sterling effort, especially for those that are so far from any towns. Thank you, without your efforts we would have nothing to find.

Today at 8.30 am we replaced Roaming in Roma. We were waiting to get some more magnets and found some on the box. Happing caching.
If this cache disappears we will end up archiving it.

We have been unable to put this cache out as we have run out out of magnets. As soon as we obtain some we will have this one up and running until it is distorted again.

Heading West to escape some of the COVID craziness going on in Brisbane at the moment. An early start was made to fit in a long day of driving to Emerald via Roma, with plenty of caching along the way. A nice easy grab here once the coast was clear
