TFTC! Corker of a day today, and found it easily. No one else in the area. TNLN. Container is in good, dry condition and the ziplock is intact and sealable.
We Found it in what couldnt be any more obvious, yet took us a while bahahaha beautiful view even left a trinkett alongside a few others!
On a caching journey up to the north with Supernannny and Net61 to find some caches. Many kilometres were driven over a few days and many caches were found. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements. We approached this one from the top and after a short scramble spotted the exposed cache. We covered it up with some shells. TFTC

Awesome find. Perfect clue. And found travel bug gst0tc. With Arizona Shepard’s
Spending the long weekend for the Kings First birthday right opposite at the fantastic Opononi Lighthouse Motel. What a beautiful spot by the water! While hubby was fishing we took the opportunity to go go caching. Master 14 found this one quite easily with his agility climbing on the rocks! Thank you for the cache!
Waited until the tide was out and went for an evening stroll, quick find. TFTC
Fun find. Unfortunately my pen didn’t work but I have photos. Was still okay to find at high tide from road side
Today we were hoping to do some sandsurfing. But it was closed
So we took a walk along the beach and found some caches instead.

#11,577. I am making my way back south to Whangarei. I am going via Hokianga and Dargaville. Good to see a series of roadside caches along the way. I will stop to fit in what I can before 2pm when I need to make tracks south. Parked down the road and walked back to GZ. Climbed the fence and descended a level. Saw some rocks and thought they must be there for a reason. They were. Opononi geocache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Thanks butchie bum for hiding it here.
307. Took a while to find. Cache and log in good condition. Picked up TB. TFTC
Had to come check out Opononi cache. Left my calling card here after a short walk. Cheers
Day 8, Thursday 27 January - from Tokerau Beach dropping down leaving Zara in KeriKeri. Then exploring Kaikohe, Opononi and Omapere with Toby and Lenny, before returning to Zara in KeriKeri. The fishy series this morning before leaving Tokerau B. Lots to do so lets get moving!
Zara, Toby, Lenny and I are on our North Island expidition for a couple of weeks. Got The Seagnoid along for the first 4 days, heading to the Auckland Mega. PWGTs and TMGTs are on the radar for this trip. Lots of driving on gravel roads and visited lots of amazing places on our 6000km road trip snagging 200+ caches along the way. Visiting Cape Reinga, Bay of Islands, Gisborne and White Rock along our journey. Another awesome trip. Thanks to all CO's.

After a look for a couple of others by this CO I wasn't holding out too much hope. However, this was the easiest of the morning run after the rain had passed.
On our way back to Auckland from our trip up in Northland - decided to head back this way for a change to the way we came up. Pleased to come to Rawene as we holidayed here a couple of times as a child and my sister's brother-in-law used to be a captain of the Rawene - Kohukohu ferry and now we are heading through Opononi - I told Mrs Tuolei about the story of "Opo" the dolphin back in the 1950s - I guess there aren't too many people around still alive that would have been here at the time.
Approached this one from the beach side and that made it easier as it turned out - headed for the most likely spot and the cache was found. Signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache here, all good.

A nice leisurely day around Opononi with evilC, geocaching and enjoying the area. Nice stroll along the beach, a bit of head scratching, and then a find. TFTC!!
I write "WRITE NOTE" because it's a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits. That's why I'm only stretching the Travel Bug from the adventures in New Zealand. Writing "Found it" is no longer correct, but it wasn't today.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

Out and about up north trying to gather the Geo tour caches and a few of these others keep getting in my way. Lol. Nice to finally get one along here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Having read the previous logs and scrambled down realised I dropped my pencil. Hence a photo!
Was this easy, for us it was not. Why not? Because we followed the description and walked along the beach at low tide, then used the hint to look in the rocks up, our interpretation of, one level i.e above the first level of rocks. And then above the second row of rocks.
Having almost had our hands stuck in the gabion wall further down the beach trying to retrieve a cache, slid down the hillside on the way back from the blow hole, and skinned our knees at the virtual cache trying to find the answer to one of the questions, we were wary of shoving our hands in any of the gaps in the rocks.
What we should have done was ignored everything and gone for the place we would have hidden a cache, safe from the tide, almost a quick park and grab. What a merry christmas.

While this one was easy to spot when at the right location it was not easy to get to. The hint didn't give us much help and had us looking in the wrong places for a long time. Glad to finally get this one done though. Wouldn't call this a 1.5 difficulty either
Last one we could get before we headed to Auckland. Would love to visit this beautiful area again on a future visit from Alaska. Found with Nanook. TFTC.
Oh ein Gast aus den Niederlanden. Den nehmen wir doch gleich ein Stück mit.

I came up here to have Christmas with my family and decided to sneak away this morning on a run to find a few geocaches before everybody woke up.
This was the first geocache that I attempted on my run and with the clue in hand, I jumped the fence and looked around. The tide was high but fortunately, I didn't fall in while searching. With the clue in hand, it took only a few seconds to find the geocache and sign it. TFTC!

Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
On our way to Kerikeri we decided to take the slightly longer route which took us throught the Waipoua Forest, Omapere, Kaikohe and Ohaeawai to try for my first First To Find close to the Waipoua forest. This is the sixth cache we were able to find on our journey today. After finding the two Caches at the lookouts in Omapere we pulled over on the side of the road and I made my way to GZ walking along the beach at low tide. Arriving at GZ I made a quick find once at the correct level. Signed the log and took the frog TB to travel on with us for a bit. After signing the log and replacing the cache as found we continued our journey towards Kerikeri. TFTC.
lovely beach stroll earlier today. dropped off tb froggy. Notcied the other 3 travel bugs listed in here are gone. so hope whom ever does log them. only mr Froggy here as of today check. all good to go. happy caching
Mal schauen, was noch kommt.
We started the day with two more caches in the near of our campground. Even the one we couldn't find yesterday evening was done. Both are tricky hides but we found them thanks to the hints and a bit of imagination. On our way further to the north were a lot of caches - we couldn't do them all. So we picked some of them and could find all of them. The B-Cache was an exciting one, because of the nest next to the box; we had to be very careful (see picture). Later on we came into the Kauri area and some caches had also to do with Kauri (Kauri stump, Kauri museum, Kauri Forrest,...). The one in Dargaville was a nice one and we found it without help from the info staff. Just before we arrived at the campground Top of the hill, we had one last cache at the roast of Rawene. An easy one if you are tall enough - Mrs fleuchi was not.

During a morning stroll from our campsite I logged two caches. For this one I went down to the beach, luckily the tide was low enough. Very nice place for a cache! I found it very quickly.
Thanks for placing it!

Heute: 3. Cache von total 5 Caches.
Die gegenüberliegenden Dünen sehen super aus. Da konnten wir auch noch diesen Cache loggen.
Google translate:
The opposite dunes look great. We were also able to log this cache.

During our trip through NZ we had time to look for a few caches. This one was one of them. We logged as Team EIN. TftC! Greetings from Germany! - Willow
Out on a mission today, to collect as many caches as possible toward the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. With very few unfound local caches, a decent journey was required. Left at dawn and covered over 300km through the winding gravel back roads of Northland, passing through Twin Bridges, Donnelley's Crossing, Waipoua forest, Omapere, Opononi and Taheke, before the heavy rain finally set in. This heavy rain, combined with the sunset, put a halt to further searching, so had to settle in the end for 29 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.
In Omapere now, so time to look for as many here as possible. The grotty showers have departed for a while, so nice and sunny whilst looking for this cache. Not much parking near GZ so had to take a bit of a walk back to this one. With the good hint, the cache was soon located, log signed and all replaced safe and secure. TFTC

Climbed down from the road as the tide was in. Quickly found. Thank-you butchie bum for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
I found the cache after a long search. It was almost sunset. The spoiler picture helped me.

Luckily quite a quick find. Lots of places it could have been but GPS accurate.
Found during our holiday to New Zealand together with GeoFinn. Touring in a campervan through this amazing country; second time here, now with our son. 5 weeks was over in a blink; already plans for a third time.
Travelling, geocaching, hiking, kayakking, swimming, mountains, lakes, geyers, beaches; it was amazing. CO's thanks for your cache, it made our trips even more fun.

mmmmike wanted to stop to take some pictures. Best opportunity for me to get a box - hopefully. The hint was helpful for a systematic search. And then - there it was.
Took the coin with me. Thanks for hiding the cache.
