Found by Aussie Train Driver 12/10/2024, find number 1814.Another quick find with the family whilst heading down to Apollo Bay. The old line is easily visible on the South side of the road, unfortunately the old trestle bridge can't be seen to the North anymore due to vegetation. Thanks for the cache!
Last day in the area and short drive from Lorne to get as many as I can from this town. Tftc.
Found it, but not my favourite. Prick of a place to get to on a bike, not to mention park a car on this narrow 100 kph narrow section. Thanks all the same.
Staying around Colac today and targeting certain caches. Didn't get all that I wanted as a local in Forest wanted to talk to me for about half an hour and some caches farmers were working close by

#2048 2022 Great Vic Bike Ride - Day 5 Colac to Apollo Bay 9.06am This was a quick stop and find on the side of the rode and dive into the bushes as other riders continued by. Gave the SAG wagon (assistance vehicle) the OK thumbs up as they passed by as I was signing the log. TNLN. TFTC vp4, A good excuse for a rest stop before continuing up the hill.
Found just as a convoy of vehicles drove past. I hitched up my skirt and popped a squat, surely pretending to pee will distract them
Easy to find but a busy stretch of road with narrow shoulder, park with caution
A dripping Sunday morning with rainbows. Thankfully not too far off the track for a find in the wet. TFTC
With MazzyMay in our travels we stopped by this series and had a good time working our way through. TFTC.
Dippa46 and I traveled up from a Apollo Bay where we were holidaying for a few days. We decided to try and find this 8 cache series and were not disappointed. The story behind the caches was most interesting. Thanks for placing these caches for us to find.
After spending the past three days in this fabulous area, it was sadly time to leave. This cache was a quick find on the way home. TFTC and the info vp4.
Quite a busy road. Lucky the cars were going by too fast to really notice what we were doing. Listening to the birds chirping in the quiet moments was delightful. Cache is in great condition. TFTC
Today AusFox; Neville_devil and myself we off on a mission to the Otways in search of some onloved on some caches that that have been on our to do list for some time.
This mission had us travelling straight past.
A quick stop for Neville and I to turn this little guy into a smiley.
Thank you vp4 for the cache

Second find for the day and a nice quick one. I spilt blood on the blackberry runner but otherwise a safe cache as long as you watch the traffic. Thanks.
GPS was not steady at all, so could not get any idea of which tree, we may have even been on the wrong side of the road, we had no idea.
Found cache. Easy find. Cache definitely needs replacement because there is water and mould in it and logbook is too wet to Wright on. Please owner fix the cache.
Taking a tour along the ex-railway today,
and this was me second whistle stop for the day
The cache was soon found,
and I signed the icky-gooey logbook

Will have to come back to this location. Tried to find the trestle bridge but no joy today. Found the cache and signed the log. Thanks again for setting up the series vp4. I think this log was damp too. Am afraid l didn’t have my maintenance bag with me or l would have changed the log for you.
Nice quick find however the log book is soggy. Managed to sign - sorry I had
Nothing with me to replace or repair.

A sunday drive from Melbourne down to Forrest to do the Lake Elizabeth earthcache.
We decided your Tiger Line series was nicely positioned for us to attempt on the way to the earthcache.
This one was signable but very mouldy on the edges..
It was a quick find though and then it was back to the cache mobile and off to find the next one!

Soggy loggy can still sign. Roo bones only remain. No smelly only smiley. TNLN TFTC
We think we know where it is however with not a good place to park and it being super wet today we will leave this one for now
Found quickly but we need to warn future cachers. A VERY large roo has passed away at GZ. He might be a bit smelly for a while! The geo dog loved him! TFTC
Staying in Gellibrand for Easter weekend thought we'd come across to Forrest to find some cachesand do some exploring. Found a fantastic little bric a brac shop where we spent too much money!!!
HAPPY EASTER!!!

Dicey parking near this cache, please be careful. Quick find made by Master 8. TFTC!
Found at 12:32 PM GAFF3.
That was a bit tricky as we thought that we could just park beside GZ while we went for a quick find, but it turned out that this road is quite busy with semi trailers and Barwon Water trucks and all sorts of other vehicles stopping behind us to see if we were alright
Thanks vp4.
Feedback: No TB in there as usual

Catching up on some old logs that we thought we'd done Found with South-West. Nice hide, quick find TFTC
Nice easy find after a day of mountain bike riding at Forrest. Thanks!!!! No trades but left some anyway
Bit special, looked on wrong side of the road for a while till my super smart husband found it!
On our return trip home from camping on the great ocean road, had to use the inland detour as the road to lorne was blocked due to bush-fires... which gave us the opportunity to grab caches in the Ottways.
Found this one reasonably quick, all in good condition
thanks to vp4

Found while in the area hoping to obtain the final 4 caches in the series to collect the final, I had a few issues with phone accuracy in this one, it decided that no matter where I stood I was always in the wrong side of the road, but with a little geosense the container was found

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Found It! We were going to try for all the caches along the route out to Winchelsea on our way home from our Otways adventure. This one was a must as we had both 8 & 9 and its railway themed and M is the train nerd. Easy find this time with GPS landing us right at it.....TFTC
Out with Darth Briji for a day of caching.
This one had us on the wrong side at first but once that was sorted it was a quick find.
Thanks for the Cache vp4

Back on the Otway trail to finish it off, plus a few extra ones here & there while out and about with alchey.
After searching on the wrong side of the road with a jumpy gps, I soon decided to check the other side of the road which made a little more easier sense. Quickly found after that debacle.
Thanks vp4 for the cache

Find # 2003
As I was only 75 smilies from 2000, and 2 days left of the Year, I decided to hit the "This way to the Otways" trail, the Tiger Line trail and a few others that looked like quick grabs to get the big numbers before the new year.
A 14hour solo round trip with only me, ute, GPSr and a selection of music to keep my sanity.
I left home just before 7.30am and got back home almost at 9.30pm and had travelled 628ks
Took a bit of time to locate this one. but in the end I should have trusted my GPSr.

62/75 for the day. We set out after breakfast with wanting to double our number and this series gave us the perfect opportunity to. Some had us stumped and were very good hides others were perfect for a quick find. This is a road we hadn't been down before but will frequent now with memories of a fantastic family day. We didn't bother with some that had recent DNF and we appreciate fellow geocachers who have maintained and noted updates. TFTC VP4
We picked this cache up at 4:00pm. We only did a few caches in the Tiger Line series as we were picking up the "This was to the Otways" caches. This cache was one of the first for the day that was big enough to leave a trackable, so I did.
It was a massive day for SirJ-Oz, Sharkiefan and I. Our main aim for the day was the 'This way to the Otways' series. We found all but 5 of them. There was rain off and on through out the day, but me managed to stay mostly dry and came home tired but please with a total of 70 find for the day. Thanks for the cache vp4.

Find #1602. Found @ 16:01 with LouiseAnn and sharkiefan.
Today's plan was to start and complete the "This way to the Otways" series with an extra few thrown in for good measure (and to achieve a nice round number tally for the day).
This was the sixty-first of 70 finds for the day, and I made the find.
Took nothing, left nothing, grabbed clue, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache vp4.

The weather is starting to warm up now, not bad for a winters day. A quick search and I added my name to the log. TFTC vp4.

Left Wodonga for a few days down the Coast with Hammer_13. She hasn't been to the Otways before so I thought I'd show her some of the awesome places, some with and some without geocaches.

Mrs Crackers joined alansee and Liz & Bruce for a trip to the Otways to pick up the rest of the series that we hadn't found as yet before going to the event tonight.
With the series finished we decided to continue on and do some of this interesting series.
This was another quick find, we all signed the logbook and took a photo of a clue and where then on our way.
Thanks once more vp4 for the cache.

A top day with a couple of other teams with a high level of geocaching addiction, namely Alansee and Di from Team Crackers. Loads of fun, the rain was a light drizzle most of the day so not too bad. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. Thanks to vp4 for placing this cache.
