Quite a bit of activity in the area, i presume someone has disposed it.
Sadly, in spite of serious excavation and hunting high and low, it appears to have disappeared. Maybe one of the haunts has it. Thanks for bringing us to this spot and telling us the story.
Found this long ago with K.B. Driving past again today reminded me that I hadn't logged it online. Thanks.
Creepy!!! Had a pretty good look around gz, but came up empty. I am not the least bit superstitious, but this place was a bit scary! I think I'll go back with back-up next time, not on my own.

We found this one on the ground right at GZ so we put it back where we thoug it should be.

Drove right up to this geo in the trusty geo truck.
I found this cache on the ground so I replaced it straight above where I found it and will keep my fingers crossed it is in the right spot.

Tftc nice hide. Tin banging bees buzzing a little bit creepy really. Never knew this place existed. With blaze169
Afternoon caching with S'n'N. I didn't know this place existed. It'd be pretty freaky at night with the tin banging!
I so wish I had done this one at night. Bet I would be so scared lol. Ty for showing me this place, might have to dare a couple of mates to go out there at nighttime with me! No way would I do it alone! Tftc
found tftc went there when it was a bit dark had to use torch to find cache found it . looked around old house must have been a nice house in its day what a shame that is become the way it is now . didnt hear any screams or weird noises other than a friendly possum.
Quick find here... geo son wanted to explore what was left of the house but I went up and took a couple of photos to show him haha TFTC
Out on a day of caching with kristybelle and the grandson. We decided to head back to bunbury but stopped along the way to pick up a few caches we had missed on previous visits. We had a bit of a slow start and the weather wasnt the best but we still managed 20 finds and no DNFS.
After a nice stroll to GZ the cache was found quickly. TFTC cul8rr

Wow this is quite a spooky house which made us run at the slightest tree movement. Easy cache thanks cul8rr
Went out today to pick up a few caches, that we had missed on previous visits.
Enjoyed the story. Seemed quite safe, to do this in the middle of the day.
Cache was found after a short search.
Many thanks for the hunt, cul8rr.

We decided to look for this in the middle of the day, just to make sure we didn't run into any ghosts
I had already found a cache at a haunted hall so I thought a haunted old house would be fun. A quick find then a look at the house. No ghosts today. TFTC
This was our 10th cache find in a caching run of 12 Finds & 1 DNFs today.

Went back after a recent find was posted to try my luck again. Different viewpoint (not so distracted by the split trunk of the tree) paid off and the cache was in hand. TFTC.
The damage to the tree made it difficult to get to GZ with the spikes everywhere but I found the cache in the end.
Thanks cul8rr for the cache.
Thanks cul8rr for the cache.
Initially, I was also concerned that the recent damage to the tree may be a problem. This was not the case and the cache was quickly spotted, signed and returned.

There's a large tree at about GZ that looks like it's recently split (rotten) down the trunk. Not sure if that's made the cache harder to find or if I was just having a bad run at this one. Sad to see the old girls play area going to ruin.
Found the cache quickly , then set out for a look around what must have been an impressive building in it's day

Out for a 2 day caching adventure with AndrewSWRT. Hitting the Australind and Collie area to clear the map and add to the tally. Out to crack the 500 mark.

Lovely big old fruit trees near GZ.

Never been here before but we had heard of this homestead feel sorry for the fruit trees struggling without proper watering must have been a lovely house in its day and what a great location. TFTC
Quick find with 1Qseeker after around about walk to get there. Road works in progress on the approaching road. Would love to know the history as previously mention. Enjoyed exploring, lots of bird life on the many little pools. TFTC.
As this one had eluded us on a past attempt I was determined not to leave today until I had in my hot little hands.
Funny how you always find the cache in the last place you look !!??? :)
What a shame to see the old homestead in such condition. As mentioned in a previous log, the history of the place would/should be interesting.
Thanks for the hunt.

The log sheet is full, we left an additional page torn from our log book to keep things going. But it really needs a new log ...........
Really thought it wasn't here but found it while a few spits of rain thought it would wet me. Great hide.
Don't know if it's haunted as did it around noon. Not much of the building is standing since a few years ago when last here by accident.
Would love to know more about this old place and it's original owners.

Found on a brisk Sunday morning. One of the first few caches found since moving down from Broome! TNLNSL
Forgot to bring a pen. Someone should tell the ghosts to do some maintenance. The house has seen better days.
Found this one on my second visit. Thought I had the place to myself, but as I approached GZ, I heard voices from under the nearby pepper tree, one female voice saying "Ask her if she is geocaching!" So I fessed up that I was and introduced myself to these two newbies, this being their second cache attempted. They were stumped by this one, but I managed to make a quick find, much to their amazement. So we all can log the find here. We chatted for a while longer before going our separate ways. I hope they continue to enjoy themselves with geocaching though.

Found it on the second attempt. Better light maybe? Easy to see why it isnt found as it is a bit of a sneaky hide. TFTC
So after a great night catching up with richlink then our lovely overnight stay at the Sanctuary resort it was back in the thick of it today.
This was to be our first of the day.
Took a bit of hunting but Mr Felix came up with the goods. That was pretty lucky because Mrs Felix trod on a baby snake after getting out of the car and she wasn't much use after that! The snake didn't move though so although he looked alive.... think it was actually dead. She didn't seem to care alive or dead she was giving it a 25metre bypass!
We do love being brought to these historical sites.

Was more interested in seeing the old homestead than anything else when I came down here. I have been coming to Australind since I was a baby, and hadn't heard of there being an old house out this way, so had to come for a look see. Didn't find the cache, GZ has a large pile of dirt dumped there. Nearby tree is disintegrating. So cache remains unfound for us. Maybe next time...
searched the haunted site for a good twenty minutes.
no sign whatsoever of the cache, even on pinpointed GZ

Did a bit of bush bashing in the Astra for this one, it was a little wetter than I thought! Got eaten by mozzies but couldn't find the cache.
Enjoyed the memories I used to stay in the homestead as a kid back when there were no houses just paddocks.....
We followed co-ords to 0 meters but still no luck

This was our first geocache seek. We've had four attempts at this, once with friends (some experience), the latest today. Have no idea where it is. Kids reckon its down the tree hideyhole - but noones hands were small enough to find anything. We've found others now, so we have more of an idea of what to look for, but still no luck. We'll be back.
No weird noises on our visit. Would've been nice to see the house upright as being demolished now....
Well...it's a full moon tonight...we found this cache about 11.30pm, no signs of any ghosts or weird noises..or anything really..was fun!
Liked this one, as quiet as the grave [xx(] but no ghosts. TFTH SL Regards Grey Nomadz
