DNF - was hidden too cleverly for me. GPSr wanted me in the midst of the dense scrub ... not too keen.
Up from Newcastle, found GZ a couple of days ago and I didn't see the cache. Out walking with Mrs Grub Fred this morning I showed her where I thought it was meant to be and there it was looking at me, clever stuff! Didn't have a pen with me but will sign on the next walk past, TFTC!!
The fish must be off the bite - no fishers around, and few walkers or joggers, perfect for a hole in one find. . TFTC summer'skoby
Took a little hunting to find this one till I looked in the fairly obvious spot Nicely done. Cheers Gav [9034]
Picked it up very quickly. Don't know what it says about us that we don't get suprised as much.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Good spot for a fish nearby. Was suprised to see people lining the bank. After a bit of a search the penny dropped and found it.
After a DNF a couple of nughts ago i was determent to get the hole in one. I tee'd of on the path. First shot I ended up in the rough. Second shot straigh in the hole. I guess that is a shot over par. TFTC SL
Luckly I dont play golf cus i will still be out there. Had Look by torch light but it seems that I can't get on par. Ill try again in day light
I like it, lots of little kids down the bank so had to be quick from prying eyes, grabbed logbook and went for a wander while filling it in, beware lots of cyclists about.
Brahm6 found this one. We went straight to the GZ but where a bit slow on the uptake and so scratched around for a long time before the light went on and we found it. Great hide.

On first go no luck, but after nabbing Troll Bridge we came back, had a think and Yes it certainly was a Hole in One! The Geo golfer was pleased to have made thus find!
Finally got a chance to get back and look for this one since its replacement and the DNF last time. Yes I was in the right place and found it very quickly this time around. Thought I'd left my pencil in the car so walked back and did the honours there, of course I then found my pencil as it dropped out of my pocket getting the keys! Put it all back together and replaced it between stray muggles on bikes.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Third visit did the first two at night. Came back with the kids this arvo and we found real quick. TFTC.
This one took longer than i would have liked in the heat & humidity today. Had a good initial look and nothing. Went back to the car for a drink and a think and returned for another go. Bingo straight up. I had looked there, but not well enough. Great hide. Thanks summer'skoby
Found this one on a quick dash along the waliking track. I really felt like a quick 18 holes, but the gallery (chooks) gave it away. After a great tee shot, a short chip I was on the green for 2. A nice 3 foot put and I bent over to pick up the ball and he presto it magically turned into a cache, What Luck!!
Thanks to summer'skoby for a great hide. I particuarly loved the camo. Well done!!

After Bicentennial Park I found this one was nearby. GPSr led me to a spot that looks like a lot of people have stood upon. Muggles kept passing and the chook owner was mowing his lawn. The only likely thing doesn't seem to be it. Moved on and left this for next time if I get back to TSV. Thanks.
Excellent cache! Although we might not have found it had it not been for summer'skoby passing while we were searching! After trying to pretend we were collecting bark (maybe not the most convincing excuse) he pointed us in the right direction. A brilliant find and then we headed off to try Troll Bridge.
My first find ..... out with visiting friend from UK who introduced me to geocaching. We disregarded the obvious so spent quite a bit of time hunting around. No one on path and the whippet was supposedly keeping watch ...... BUT we were sprung! By none other than HWHIT !!!!!! (He Who Hid IT) We had some heavy rain last week ..... the log is wet..... and full.
An excellent cache - not seen one quite like this before. Golf's not really my game, but I could play this style!

Due to our lack of golf knowledge we had problems understanding the hint. But after some searching we finally found it.

Very clever!! What a great cache container. We had to think for a minute or two or three and then re read the clues. TFTC.
Took quite a while of searching and reading description, hint and logs before it all fell into place. After the lightbulb moment, I knew exactly where it was and walked right up to it. Thanks summer'skoby. Nicely done.
Nice hide, but I was on to it pretty quick despite my GPSr's blatent dislike for trees. Thanks for the cache. No swaps today.
Arrived at GZ and thought something was a little odd. Took me a little longer to reveal what but the ball was soon in the hole. Appropriate too on a day when Appleby hit a 59! Golfing fans will know what I mean.
(:))
Tracked this one down with gang of geokids after we had fun with GC2368Y.
Thought we wouldn't need the GPS as we knew where the golf course was ... but thank goodness we had it with us. The geokids loved this one so much! Great hide ... great clues ... great fun! Nothing like an afternoon spent enjoying the Ross River and surrounding park lands with friends and the bonus was tracking down this fabulous cache. Thanks! Took - nothing. Left - small love heart "with love"

I don't know the least little bit about golf. Hook? Slice? Luckily we are 'playing' geocaching here, so I didn't have any trouble finding the cache. Have seen a hide like this one before somewhere . Thanks for bringing me here, I don't think I have been to this part of the river before.

We teed off from the park, yelled FORE!!! and were pleasently surprised to find we had scored a hole in one. Great urban camo and cache container.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 60 of our annual 'Climatic Refugee' trip, on a night run after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Suburban Bowling Club for a line dancing social, and made a fairly quick GAFF 1 find. Not so easy to spot by torchlight, I'd fanned out and back in a couple of times and suddenly heard a bit of a thunk, and the penny (or was that the putt) dropped. Very nice touch with the cache container.
My find No 2648, TNLNSL.

Silly people looking through the bushes we were. All the while the youngest had already spotted it and apparently mentioned it to me. She was not sure and I did not respond. Anyway, a good search later I wanted to leave and wanted to put something right.. and there it was all along. Geokiddie annoyed I had not listened. Oh well, teasure was in hand which counted.

Found at 3:45pm after a big day caching in Townsville. GPS had us looking in a nice secluded area that would be a nice hide away from the path, however after searching we went wide in our search area and found the clever hide, including a nice cache container.

Sorry we missed the chooks, but heard them.

That's a very small golf course. Just my style.
One hole and it's back to the club house.

Well I never thought I would see the day when I got a "Hole in One"! Loved the cache container! SL TFTC
Was concerned our GPS was "playing up" due to the cloudy conditions but soon found what we were looking for. Great disguise!
Great cache summer'skoby - excellent camo. Look forward to getting some more! This is such a lovely area for a river walk. TFTC.

Hey, congrats on your 1st FTF Roniniro, great pick-up. Fabulous cache at midnight, though I did scare the bejeezers out of the big spider in his big web (I wasn't scared, honest). Oh well, he can rebuild!
