My favourite cache with 30 favourites has gone missing. Unfortunately the location of this (on private property with permission) looks to be taking its toll on the garden. I am archiving this one for the time being.
out looking for caches today, looked for this one for about 15 min, couldnt find so left to get a new one ,ran into chippyroo who had done this one and they too stopped to see if it was still there but also couldnt find it so it is possible that it may not be there anymore.
Found this one very easily ( with team ryanandadam )
Just followed the GPS and directions.
And we knew that we were heading in the right place because the owner of the property sang out the door and said " yep , thats right your going in the right direction "
Its so nice to have friendly muggles around.
We all had a laugh at the Cache.
After doing 30 Finds this is my favourite.
Well done who ever made it.
The name says it all.
Great Hide Darth.
2 thumbs up.

With 28 fav points I just had to peel away from work to find this one. Quickly discovered a beauty and met the "new" occupant in the rear dwelling who got quite a fright with people wandering around the yard at 11:30pm!
I really enjoyed this one and gave added another fav

What a fantastic little cache!
We came down here late on Australia Day and parked a little further down from GZ!
I ran down here and, yet again, the GPS was playing silly buggers.
Quickly searched for what I thought it was going to be and, I was right.
But, still, didn't quite expect what I found. I really loved this cache.
Thanks Darth Trader for another well thought out cache.

Really appropriate for an artist's garden. Much nicer than what we found in the stump with the rock on it nearby .. don't know what it was but it didn't want to be found. TFTC darth trader
In Maitland for a birthday party so thought we could find some caches too.
We have visited some wonderfull parks, cemetries, old buildings & seen some great caches as well.
This was a really good cache, quite a stand out as it was on its own.
Thanks darth trader

Given the title we were pretty sure we knew what we were looking for and after a brief look find it we did. Totally loved it and it gets a fav point from us. Thanks darth trader.
We parked 150m out from GZ and enjoyed the short walk over. We started looking in the bushes and then a young lady came out asking us if we were GeoCachers. She was followed by the restaurant chef. They directed us into the direction of the cache. We quickly found the ingeniously hidden cache and signed the log. After a quick chat to them, we headed off. Thank You for creating an excellent cache container! Thanks for the cache Darth Trader!!!
TFTC!
This one had me a little stumped.
I finally resorted to the clue and just after i worked out what it meant, the gentleman that owned the property came over and pointed me in the right direction.
Awesome hide. One of the best camos i have seen yet!.

This was another very clever hide that I initially missed, but stardancer83 spotted. Thanks for the cache
this one was very cleaver. would love to show a picture but that would really it. looking for it in the dark adds a bit of difficult. T4TC
Immediate thought was New York Steak, of which there were two (stakes). But you would never have this between two steaks, but, then again? Good one Darth trader.
Very neat - the whole package with name, description and hint. Plus lovely spot, and piece of history.

Mrs CDM261 revisited this cache with Mr dazndky on our way home from the Tocal Field Day.
Great cache.
Great cache.
Made the find this afternoon nice and quickly though the revisiting CDM261 were not giving anything away. While living in NZ we found a cache similarly hidden so this one posed no problem. Even so it is caches like this one that keeps us coming back for more. TFTC; a favourite point from us.
Out caching with Spikeymikey and honestly without SM I wouldn't have found this. One I couldn't work out the hint reference and I would never have ventured onto private land, but in saying that the cache container is brilliant and I loved it.

Very clever. Never seen this before. The name & clue made sense after the find. Fav point ! SL TFTC
Don't look in the nearby stump with a rock on top, something very long and nasty is living there! We had a wander around GZ with no-one anywhere around, and found the very clever container, loved it. Thanks for a great hide, although I'm not happy looking on private land, permission granted or not.
A healthy find for this cache. Very good camo. Fortunately no muggles today so we could make a quick find, SL and replace

We were invited up here to the hunter valley by the local commercial balloonists.
It was their 30 anniversary of flying in the valley so 30 balloons were invited.
A fantastic weekend was had and some caching thrown in was an excellent way to fill the day.
Nice hide.
Cheers for the Cache.

VERY CLEVER HIDE! I made this joke also. An apple a day will keep the doctor away, if you throw it hard enough. HAHA. Thanks darthtrader!
A very nice hide in a very nice location, similar in some ways to one of my hides.
Just as we had it found, the owner came out and asked if we'd found it yet and had a long chat to us.
Thanks darth trader

Kidlets enjoyed the gardens here, nice find. Had a good chat to owner of property, will have to go back to visit gallery and cafe while still on hols from work, the swing is beckoning. TFTC.
I love hides that make sense of their environment and take you somewhere you'd want to go. As it turned out, this was a lovely garden and we bumped into the owner who was very friendly and chatted to us for a while. Thanks
If it was not for a nice lady pointing me in the right direction, I would not have gotten this one for I would not have ventured so far into the trees. A very interesting way to hide it. One of my favorites.

Found on a round trip around the area today. Nice hide, and the first time I have seen one like this also. Very good & safe from view, even the owner nearby who was gardening didn't know I was there, so that's how I left it too. TNLNSL TFTC,

Was so awesome, took a while for me to find... But it was my first Cache!!! Thankx guys!!!
Another amusing hide that suites the area to a tee, well worth a visit. TFTC.
With the place deserted it was a bit easier to get a parking spot. Walked around to GZ and was looking for something much different to start with.
When I spotted it all I could do was smile and think "How cool is that hide"
The first of this type I have found.
Well done

I spent the day with ruffasgutts4x4 caching around the area. We only had 2 DNFs with one end up being muggled. Thanks for all the cach. We enjoyed our tour of Maitlands caches. TFTC SL.

5 / 39 Finds for the day...When we arrived here, we noticed people out the front of a nearby dwelling, we placed the car between them and where we believed the cache was...what a waste of time that turned out to be, there were smiles all round when we realised the people were the cacher owners and what a brilliant hide, I've seen some strange caches but none like this before, very clever Thanks for bringing us here, it was very nice to meet you, Regards! P.s when we come back to finish off we'll get that coffee and cake then
Reperio at 1225. Got to GZ, and half expected a fairly regulation hide, but while the cahe was found immediately, it was probably one of my favourite hides I've found in the past couple of months. Great to see someone putting a little extra effort into thier caches.

As I knew what the place was called when it was open the cache was very easy to find.

Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
An excellent hide. It's always great to find a cache that has had so much effort put into it.
TNLN and thanks darth trader for the cache.

Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and Farmer Frenzten .
A fantastically themed cache with the nearby gallery and cache container. A quick find but we were quite impressed with the hide. TFTC!

I visited the GZ again and quickly got to the core of the problem. It had been moved from the co-ords slightly.
All is still well in the Acacia tree.

17:20. The cache was found by one member of the team during his two-days visit to Maitland. Very well hidden! Thanks for it.
Found at 11am whilst enjoying morning tea in the garden. What a wonderful garden and today the skinks were out taking in the sun. We visited with Geopa's sister who lives in the area but has never visited the establishment before. TNLN SL. TFTC and we have left the article as requested Darth Trader.
The Little Red Apple was a really cool restaurant back in the 80's

Farout. Found it. Clues big help. Read the clues. Walk around property. Have a look.
Found with a little searching and help from the hint. What happened after we found the cache was hilarious. As Tyggerific and I were sitting down on the edge the river opening the cache the police pulled up on the cycleway next to us. They asked what we were doing and what we had there as we had made a pitiful attempt to hide the cache from them making it look all the more suspect We had to show them the cache , the log and the geo apps on our phones before they would believe us and let us put the cache back and continue on our merry ways.
Stealth geocachers we are sooooo not, lol
