Indeed we did burgo78. I did visit the playground a few times and had trouble working out the GZ. But I did manage to find the cache. Also one of the items I had to count was missing. ** see photo** Tftc
Out caching along the Ross River today. Geo-Dad helped with all the counting and calculations. Found the cache after a brief search. SL. TNLN. TFTC corikra.
[Blue]# 12399[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another very warm winter day to find a few more caches around townsville.
Using all the info available in other logs helped, and a very nice area at GZ too.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.
Thanks for the cache corikra,

Finally got back for our third try on this little sucker, and yes as they say third time lucky. sl tnln tftc.
This was a second attempt at this cache after we ended up with some bogus coordinates after the first. We had our best thinking caps on and tweaked few answers to arrive at a half reasonable set of coordinates to try. Success. The cache was located and the log signed. Thanks Corikra for this multi that he several elements.
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there corikra. We found your cache "Counting + Calculations = Coordinates" at 9:26:00 AM today.
This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 4 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9788.)
[Blue]
We counted and calculated, then counted again because the simple math didn't produce the expected numbers.
After another count and some reverse engineering of the check number results we are able to log our find.
We are really happy to find that our count of all items was correct each time, but [Red]one of the dragon flies is missing. [/Red][:(!]
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Party Popper.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

After having been told this morning at the library's geocaching workshop, that this one might have disappeared, I went and checked after. Happy to report that the cache is in place, exactly where it always has been
Found it at last! Had some help on the calcs from GeoDad, and on my second visit; success! I took an origami star, left a smurf. Thanks Corikra.
Been meaning to knock this cache off for sometime now. So today, MattCNS, Mtn Pygmy Possum and myself descended on the GZ and completed the counting and final calculations to find the necessary coordinated. Thankfully, muggle activity wasn't that extreme for a Sunday afternoon. Matt quickly found the prize and we can all finally put this cache to rest with a . Cache in great condition.

Out and about with MPP and RobS72 to grab some new caches and find some that have been on the radar for far too long. RobS72 had done his homework but we decided to do the in field counting again just to be sure. With the counting done we sat down to watch RobS72 do the calculations. With some co-ordinates found we were soon off to GZ and had the cache quickly in hand. Thanks corikra for the cache.
Out with MattCns and RobS72 all checking counts in situ. RobS72 had done all the homework for this one, and Matt found it quickly once we arrived at GZ. TFTC Corikra.
Finally got this one...with a little help from our friends The Drovers, thanks guys.

GeoP had done the internet research a little while ago and we had been waiting for an open day to complete the counting. Today loomed as a pleasant day and with time off we decided to call in and have a go. We completed the counting and sat down to do our calculations. We had an answer but one part didn't match the format for the co-ords but logic told us what it should be (There may be an abnormality with the Anisoptera). Unfortunately our calculations led us to an open area with no obvious hides. We sat back down and rechecked our workings but we always came back to the same locations.
Resorting to the hint we located an area nearby that might suit and after a short(ish) search geoP came up with the prize.
Thanks Corikra for bringing us to this little playground. We certainly didn't have these when we were growing up.

Felt very uncomfortable outside of playground looking in but managed to get all the info and obtain the coords, even though area is full of muggles setting up for the Greek festival there were no muggles at GZ...found the goods (sighes of relief that I can count and coords were accurate) signed the log and left a coin....
Another day caching, enjoying the great weather of Townsville.
A bit of team work, got this one in the bag.
No muggles, but a lovely park.
Thanks for this multi, corikra.

Eight months in Australia means a lot of geocaches! All these caches really showed me nice spots all around the country. Thank you for this one & greetings from Germany

Finally got to this cache and using the "cover" of my kids was able to get the answers with ease. Kids had a fun time researching both online and in the park. They are enjoying the school holidays filled with caching. Thanks Corika another favorite point added.

I'd done a lot of the work for this one ages ago but never had the time to do the rest. Today I was in the area for the new RRPT caches and finally finished it off. A lot of work in this one. I had a suspicion of where it would be and a quick search turned up the cache, one that isn't found all that often due to multi-blindness no doubt! Signed and replaced, all in good condition.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Santa's family on an afternoon walk.... Worked out the clues last week and finally found the time to do it....
Great fun cache. Glad I took the time to work it all out. Bottom sums worked for me to work out I had a couple of numbers wrong. Either I didn't look properly or there were a couple of things missing I was supposed to count. Easy enough to fix with the bottom check and a little common sense though. TFTC that was a great excursion.

Ps the number checking bit at the bottom didn't work for me if that helps anyone else out

This was hard!! My poor brain was tired with all the thinking I had to do, I'm more used to the gps just pointing to where I have to go, but after all the work, I felt very satisfied with myself
I did the online research before I left home in Sydney and then stopped off at WP1 to begin the counting. It turns out I'm not too good at that as I got one of the answers wrong here, you really have to be careful!
At WP5, I discovered some decorations had fallen off the walls but I could surmise what the answer should have been. Similarly at WP6, there was one obviously missing. Thank goodness for the check sums provided, I needed it to correct all my errors!
Yes, the log book was too wet to sign but I dried the container out and put in a new log book so this should be ok now for future finders. Great to finish such a long multi, TFTC corikra

I did the online research last night and had no probs with that part.
I went to the playground this morning and was there at about 0900 and obviously it was too early for mini muggles to be playing as I had the place all to myself.
I did the counting, then the calculations and got a suitable GZ.
I must have misscounted as the GPS wanted me to go for a swim!
I searched around some likely spots and found it eventually.
Unfortunately the cache was swiming in water, and I mean it was totally full to the brim!
I will post a photo tonight to show what I mean.
I poured out the water, signed the log as best I could and replaced.
A great spot for a cache and a very well put together multi that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Cheers and happy caching.

#54 Homework last night, nice swim, play while counting poles and stuff, then back to the pool while I did some maths. Checked the numbers with the check sums, then did some maths again to get the right answers.
Out of the pool, quick find, SL TNLN and back to the water in minutes. TFTC

Alkzura and I knew the night before that we would be coming to this park with my parents and our geobubs, so we did the prep needed. Upon arrival Alkzura was quickly on the job collectly up the remaining digits and in no time we were off to find the cache with our geotoddler and dad in tow. A short search followed but I was lucky enough to be the one to find the beasty. Cache in good condition, thanks for a fun multi in a lovely location. TFTC

NyletaM and I worked out the first part of the puzzle last night and headed off today
with the family to the park here to spend the morning.
With the geobubs playing and exploring, I collected the remaining information to
complete the remaining calculations.
After a short picnic we wandered to the GZ, and NyletaM found the cache
after a short search.
Thanks again for a great multi, a nice location (unfortunately the lagoons were closed today)
And a nice morning out for ts family.

Absolutely enjoyed doing this one even though we had to re count and re calculate a couple of times. When finally all was done correctly coordinates took us to the cache. What an excellant playground. Took Monkey and Donkey TB. The metal tag with the tracking number on it is missing {not on} this TB. Left fluro frog. TFTC. After abit of co-ordinating we have managed to locate the missing tag and all is well. We will relocate Monkey and Donkey TB ASAP.

Well with bear being away I thought I'd go and grab a cache or two. Did my online homework for this one and then I was off to Riverside. As it was a rainy day there wasn't too many mugglers around so grabbing all the information wasn't too difficult. After I grabbed all the clues I set the GPS and bingo cache was in hand. I had fun with this cache and want to remind everyone that its not a difficult cache.
The check calculations on the description is out a little so just go with your gut feeling and enter the coords in the GPS.
Thanks Corika for the cache.

Great fun to find, went today and LOTS of muggles around because of the heat, so made it a bit of an extra challenge to find
Had worked out part 1 some time ago when this was first published and today, on another trip up here, managed to drag the folks along for some counting and calculations. Sure enough, that led to a set of coordinates and a cache! Absolutely perfect weather today and not too many people - very thoughtful of them to stay away . Thanks corikra
Sorry, totally forgot to post a log after checking. All is good the turtles and dragonflies are all where they are supposed to be.
This was the perfect afternoon out for me and my geokiddies and dog. The festival in preparation for the V8 was there and we were spoiled with live music and entertainment. We saw all the V8 drivers and their cars, a water-ski jump presentation and parachuters. AND we found the cache (which of course was the best of all ). My geokiddies love the little playground with it's educational variety. As we counted and searched the easy enough clues and did a bit of morse code (ok maybe I only realised later that that was what they were... felt a bit silly about my late revelation). Thanks Corika, a pleasure as always.
'A Lovely World' has informed me that some of the turtles and the dragonflies have gone missing from the wall. Will check tonight.

After making a counting error it was not possible to get the correct location.
So back to the drawing board and I recounted everything and found the mistake.
To add to the complexity I had made a mistake with transcribing the numbers so I made more than two errors.
So once all was corrected, I was able to go to the correct location.
An easy find with a very good GZ location and a clear hint.
Then to make matters even stranger I was the first to actually sign the log.
So after all of that the FTF - in the log - was our team.
Thanks Corika for the challenging Mystery Cache.

I actually found this one a few days ago but corikra is happy for me to claim a *FTF*.
