I think this one needs to be checked after several DNFs. I searched absolutely everything for 30min and no luck
Had late tea here tonight and gave this one a good quick look, you never know, any rate did not come up with the goods.
I swear we looked absolutely everywhere, inside and outside, high and low! Alas, we did not find this slippery lil customer...
Looked for ages here today. Usually we can find these little caches. Not today. Even felt around in all the tube ends .
A day around Beechworth and liking around town. A quick stop for lunch and a cache

Found on the second attempt. The first time there was a crew of workmen having smoko right at GZ. Found a couple of other caches and came back. A quick search and we found it. TFTC
Had to get a bit cozy with the picnic furniture to find this one.
Nice little set up. Only problem was I forgot my pen. Used some wire to gently mark the log with my name and date. Some of the metal rubbed off to faintly leave my mark. No damage to paper as I was careful.
Next time I'll remember the pen.

Took a little while to find, it's a very sneaky little hiding place! Good find though
Well this was a great little hide. It was harder to find than the phone someone had left on the table. It was just sitting there with no one in site. If it is yours, you will find it at the Beechworth Police Station.
Really clever hide!! Plenty of hiding places but the hint was extremely useful in finding the cache! Cache was in hand after a short search
Found while on the long drive south to escape the tropical heat this Christmas. A detour to Beechworth for a quick visit and some caches.
Well hidden, the way I like them!
Thanks for the cache

Got back today and found it in real quick time. Was watched by a Kookaburra sitting on the window ledge. I think he was expecting a hand out. Thanks for the cache.
Limited time frame and Friday afternoon school kids, so I just gave up and will come back another day.
Out to see the sights and to have a caching day with our caching friends Biggles of OZ and Mrs Biggles. After stopping at Lake Buffalo for lunch we continued on towards Beechworth. It did take a while with Biggles of Oz and Mrs Biggles looking on (they had previously done this one)and they weren't giving too much away except the occasional nudge. You do need to follow the hint then its a matter of touch, gently does it. A great hide, very clever. Our sixth cache for the day. TFTC
We are finally on our way home from 2 weeks of wandering around Victoria caching to fulfill the LGA and VAC challenges but still stopping for "just one more".
Had a good look around and came up with nothing , even with the hint , but after a double check we found it. Didn't we look there??
Thanks haveanez for the sneaky hide.

Geoket on the ball again. Found similar ones like this so it wasn't too hard!

Found it!! So relieved to find one after searching for so long on another cache nearby and lucking out
TFTC. Great hide that took a little time to find. Nobody about so could search uninterrupted. When we drove past later the shelter and playground was overrun by children. Good timing!
Day 2 of my weekend down in Albury/Wodonga and surrounds caching with Coruze. Yesterday was a nice big day picking up caches after attending an event and today we were off and at it again. Today we were targeting more of the challenges and puzzle caches. We had a great day out before I had to drive back home to Canberra really wanted more time to continue caching [:p]. Today we seen lots of lovely locations, some great caches, saw a brand new calf trying to take its first steps (mind you, the poor little thing was failing miserably lol) and even seen a historic Ned Kelly location .
A quick restroom break turned into an entertainers delight, didn't it Coruze [:p] Cache located, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache placement haveanez

Holly crap 15 mins and we found it due to some amazing detective work by heidi!
My seventh visit here, is seven my lucky number? Well there is nobody else here, that is unusual, and it is Queen's Birthday weekend so that should be a good omen. Armed with tools of the trade and heaps of optimism, we began a systematic search of the area - Muggle Hubby on one side, me on the other.
Usually when you find a tricky cache you ask yourself how you didn't find it on previous visits. Not so this one. This one is so devilishly deviously concealed I was absolutely delighted when I found it.
Left nothing behind but a signature and a favourite point, now headed to the Quest For Q challenge to ensure that is signed, so I can log it, as soon as I can find the next Q cache

#1498 Certainly not the hide we were anticipating, but with a muggle free gz, Mrs BGF came up with the tricky hide after a short while whilst Mr BGF once again played the spectator role. Thanks haveanez for placing this hide, you rock!
Cockatoos the size of turkeys so big they barely get off the ground.
One was stealing a pinecone.
They waited in a group.
If there were enough of them the bananas think they might steal a tree.

Down to Beechworth for a drive today and found a couple on the way.
Had trouble finding this one to start.
Had a break while kids played on the playground.
Saw a suspicious group head into the shelter once we moved away and realised they where hunting!!!
A quick G'day and they helped us find it.

It took us a little while to zoom in on a nifty little hide, but one we have used as well so it was not hard. The main problem was the nearby muggles and mini-muggles who appeared to be a little suspicious of our activities. We were only have afternoon tea - boiled fruit cake and a cuppa! It was very enjoyable and so was our visit to the rocks. TNLN, thanks haveanez.
#9 on our Beechworth adventure with kiki37 and kudjro. Found this fella after a few quick sweeps. TFTC!
Out grabbing a few caches in the Beechworth area with Happy Pants and a few of the geokids. We had to return to this when there were no muggles. It took a few minutes searching before the find was finally made. Thanks haveanez.

Quick grab in between the muggle.

We called past here a little earlier today but had to give it a miss a table full of muggles right on GZ. So after doing a few more caches around town we came back and had the area all to ourselves and set about searching for this elusive cache. It took us about 5-10 minutes to come up with this very sneaky hide, so simple but so frustrating. Glad to get a smilie with this one. TFTC
Tried without success (with a friend) for about 45 mins a couple of days ago. But before leaving Beechworth this morning - just had to have another go! And glad I did Although it is in a well - used public place, I don't believe that it would ever be found accidently. Great challenge... Thanks for the test.
Tricky. Its exactly where we first thought it would be but is hard to see and feel. Found with Indianagleeson and shellumbus. Tftc.
What a sneaky little devil!! Must have looked here a thousand times! Finally spotted by Indianagleeson. With red leader and Fox 2
The better half wanted to go for a drive so Beechworth was our destination, Beechworth obviously a popular location for holiday makers the town was busy. Ever time I came for this one there were muggles here, today the only muggles were up at the canon, so we stopped for afternoon tea we just bought some goodies from the bakery. So let the better half do her wifely duties and pour the tea. Whilst I looked for the hid with no luck so had a brew and sugar fix, then continued the search whilst the wife cleaned up, I was sticking my finger in every hole, tried every nut and bolt. The better half was getting impatient she wasn't any help and she wanted to go home, so I had one more look and after a few minutes felt something that I didn't notice before could it be? Yessss found it. After spending 45 + minutes here I was happy to put my name in the log and carefully return it back to it's sneaky hid. This gets a favorite from me for the hid , location and peeing off the better half.
Oh my GOD that was hard!

Had been to this one before but no luck ( I thought it was because I was a newbie back then & had not much of a geo mind going on) but nope I didn't find it cause it's a very sneaky hidden cache!
I ended up using a "lifeline" after searching for quite a loooong time in every nook & cranny imaginable.
Ended up re checking a spot I'd already looked at & coming up with the goods & getting the log signed thanks to some helpful advice from some geofriends!
Thanks heavenez for the brain wrecker. We had the "oh how sneaky was that" conversation the moment we found it.

This was attempted on our way to the M2M rail trail. We searched for a while but didn't find it.
We nearly lost the GPSr as I left it on one of the "windows" and had to come back for it.
Luckily for us the people who had come for a picnic had noticed it and kept it aside for us safely.

Went sightseeing in historical Beechworth. and grabbed a few caches around the area.
Very tricky, but after a methodical search, it was located in a spot we didn't expect it to be.
A favourite point, for something a little different.
Many thanks for placing this cache, haveanez, for us and others to find.

Well . . . I took exceptional care removing this one after accidentally wrecking the original cache a few months ago. Obviously an easy find this time after the last, er, attempt.
TFTC (and replacing it after my previous "faux pas").

We camped at Beechworth for the long week-end with some of the kids from school. We went for a walk into town to do some exploring and try some of those yummy beers. On the way back we walked past this park to see if we would be lucky enough to find this cache. After reading the clue, we went to the correct place. It wasn't long before I noticed something that gave away its position. Great little hiding spot and a great place for a BBQ. TFTC.

Having just done the Rocky mountain tunnel earth cache as our 200th hide we headed back into town for some takeaway lunch & on to this park for the geokids to have a play. While munching we thought we'd see if there were any caches nearby....this one was only metres away. We loved the clever sneaky hide! Signed the new log sheet & returned to hide. Then we headed up to the big rocks to check out the cannons. Tftc
I believe I may have accidentally "wrecked" this cache so it may no longer be found. I have contacted the owner (to find out if it was the cache that I upset) who will no doubt confirm in due course.
Apologies to all.
Apologies to all.
Heading back to Melbourne we called in at Beechworth to do a few caches. As we arrived a GZ GeoDog was disappointed that a bus load of muggles had arrived at GZ. Off to other caches. On our return the area was vacant and after a bit of searching Mrs. Gamgee soon found the clever hide. Loved the cannons and the use of the Canary Island pines. TFTC
Today we headed out to find many of the HSS Series.
This was a bonus cache that we found after arriving back into town.
We looked in this BBQ area last time we were at Beechworth but had no luck, today we had success.
Thanks haveanez

Already the last day of this caching trip with J+J.AU and Baja15 to this beautiful area! Leaving the motel in Wangaratta for another bikeride, a good lunch in Beechworth with some caching on the route to Wodonga as well. Another great day!

I joined up with fellow cachers J+J.au and Wilbert67 and we made our caching trip down South. The puzzle preparation was done and the challenge of the finds awaited us. We were most impressed with the quality of the hides and had a lot of fun walking, riding and driving all the while taking in the wonderful scenery and history on offer. Thanks to the COs for making our trip so great. SL..TFTC
