First search came up empty as it was a bit of a stretch, but eventually found the cache, not quite were we expected, thanks
With a bit of a struggle and a stretch it was in hand for ATM to sign the rusty log! Paper and rusty! TFTC and greetings from the UK
After caching out at the heads and on the way back trying for twenty in one day there were three left and this seemed like a nice and easy Park n Grab and so it was, Hopped out of the car cache in hand signed log tga too conserve time. TFTC
Haven’t cached for a while, but we’re here to launch a friends new dingy. Second time lucky for this cache, easily located this time around. TFTC
I must have been moved from the location because we spent quite a while their and we didn't find it
Drove out here after work today to keep the 2017 streak going, hoping the area would be muggle free for once and I was in luck, just before dark. Cache was a quick find in the hint location. TFTC
Car park was empty other than a couple of roosters. Cache is no longer a mint tin and is not magnetic either. Nevertheless no trouble with finding this one.
We took a quick walk this morning to grab a few caches. This one was first and we watched the first few boaties heading into the bay. Nice spot. TFTC.
Another quick grab on the way into town. Cache was no longer a magnetic eclipse tin but a little brown plastic jar at the base of the wildlife sign. My son enjoyed reading this sign which was a good diversion for the camper van parked nearby. Great to see these areas being made into reserves. TFTC
After a good start today out at teotahi...... Couldn't locate cache. Did find supernannys paper log taped to info sign but no cache
I have replaced container and added paper here....It is a magnetic keytainer...bottom of a post with stones on it ..
Could not find anything to magnetise it on !

So with the nice weather this afternoon and all the jobs done at home I decided to jump in the car and head to the beach- and figured I would grab some caches while I was here- and on my way home.
Log wet but did my best to sign as I was out of replacement logs- need to print some more

Planning a caching trip out to Whangarei Heads today, after going into town for petrol, I was then on my route proper. Found the cache easily enough, however as per previous loggers, found it to be rusted shut. Broke the lid off completely opening the cache. Signed log and replaced the tin with a spare mint tin I had in my car, reusing the tape and magnet. TFTC
I pulled off the road in a big enough area to take the caravan as well so that I could keep my cache-a-day run going. This container was sealed up with rust (not the ideal place to put an unprotected metal container) and was full with water. Managed to make a mark on the used up log sheet.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Had to sneak around from the other side as a muggle was in a car nearby. Easy find but couldn't sign as log was wet
Yay found. Asks a little trade too. Always exciting for my 8 year old when theres things to trade.
Needed this one to fill in the 23-minute gap for the "174 Degrees East Longitude Challenge" cache. Came here this evening, fortunately a quick find. Signed log, TFTC
It might be there, but the place is used as a toilet. Very gross didn't want to venture in for the sake of my health.
Lunch stop for a grumpy 2 year old. Chechnya and a convenient cache to nab. Thanks.
Out for a drive and the grandies needed a break so stopped here...had a look on the GPS and there was a cache right there rather fortuitous nice quick find and sign thanks for the cache
Staying up at Whangarei and visiting are the places that I visited some 50+ years ago. This is one such place. I had to use the cell phone for this as I hadn't loaded it on the GPS. But it was a straight forward find so all was well. Initially we did wonder which pole. But. All was soon revealed. Thank you for this cache and another smiley face
Took a while to find but the magnet idea is a genius! That is a great idea. The family where so pleased to find it. This is our 1st cache and we love it! Thanks Riser5 for the fun.
I initially came here and there was a guy sitting on the seat nearby facing where? At the pole! So I tried to wait him out for 10 mins but he looked like he was glued to the seat so I went of for another cache and returned and sure enough he managed to get his bum of the seat and move on. Cache soon in hand.
Finally found this 1. had driven past so many times and has been people there but this morning i was lucky.
This one we managed to find without any trouble. A lovely sunny day to be becide the sea. T4tc
Beautiful spot for a stop and a quick cache grab once we spotted where it should be - Tftc
GAR's dad lives out this way and we have past this way numerous times since I started caching but there always seems to be someone parked near GZ when we go past. Today I noticed too late it was empty when we into town for Boxing Day sales and we agreed I could stop on the way back if again it was empty. So when I didn't spot any cars of course I stopped! Had a giggle because the reserve wasn't entirely deserted with a car parked mostly unseen from the road and a couple of young people making out in it! When they heard the car door close on our car they left pretty quickly! Not that we were paying them any attention or anything - a quik glance was enough to gauge what was going on. Took a moment to work out where the cache was and missed it on first inspection. Tried again and sure enough was sort of where we first thought it would be. Thanks for the interesting interlude Riser5! That's the second cache of yours today that ended up more than the usual find and sign!
amazing the stuff u find in a place like that.. looks like all the wool from a sheep..cans.. bottles. .and a cache...?what happened here?
Found with Redants while on our Far North Road Trip to the Winterless North. We found ourselves in some interesting places that we would not have visited had we not been searching for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners. Didn't see the rooster. TFTC.
We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russell, among many other places. Well hidden, TFTC
#203 Not feeling so great today I needed a quick local cache to keep the current streak going. Rooster left me alone. TFT(park and grab)C.
Found it today, no lid on the cache and log has disintegrated with the water that it has been sitting in.
Thanks for this one, although couldn't sign it due to the wet log. Beware of the angry rooster, it chased us around the car!!! LOL
Easily found in a quiet little park but there is no lid on the cache and the logbook is saturated. Have logged that this needs maintenance. Nice spot nonetheless so TFTC
Should have been easy but did not find. Bits of rubbish - bottles and cans.
Finished all our weekend meetings in the city now on our way out to Parua Bay to visit the brother and sister in law.
Mr S went and retrieved this one while Mrs S finished eating her lunch.
Thanks Riser5, yet another smilie face on our trail.

Took cousins children out for their first caching experience, this was the nearest to their house. Classic hide - SL dipped trackable, replaced where found T4TC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are in my old home town of Whangarei, visiting family for Easter and decided to go out for a wet afternoon of caching. After driving along Mt Tiger Road from Whareora, we headed back in to Onerahi and picked up the occasional cache along the way, in between showers. A quick find, but a bit smelly around GZ today. Thanks for the cache!

Ill hope you'll accept my pen-less log mark in the logbook. Found whilst on a run from onerahi to manganese point. Great to stop and have a rest on a warm day. Sorry no pen but a mark with bark. TFTC
