Thanks Lava12 for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #9856 on 27/7/2024 at 3:18PM. Out caching today with doineedthis who had permission to find and collect the recently archived caches. This one was in average condition, and was removed from the playing field.
Removed as instructed by the CO, photo evidence of the find attached to prove we found it. Thanks Lava12 for allowing us to be the last finders and remove these for you. ??
I'm unable to check it because I moved. It's time to head out. Thank you for finding my cache in the past. Lava
Given that there was some quite decent weather today, sunny and 25, I thought it was worth getting out for the day and doing some caching. I decided to head back in the McLaren Vale direction to find a few of the caches that I did not get to the last time I was in the area. It was an enjoyable afternoon as I made my way through the backroads between McLaren Vale and Willunga. I made the somewhat steep drive to ground zero and, once there, I had a good idea of where the cache was going to be hidden. The container was soon in hand and the log was signed. The cache was replaced and, before I left, I took the time to enjoy the view that was sitting behind me. A nice spot for a cache and one worth a favourite point. A good variety of caches were found, with very few DNFs; All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.Find #9612, at 03:53 pmTFTC
Meeting friends for lunch today, determined to snag a few caches beforehand. What an amazing view, perfect spot to build a house, just need a nice little lotto win. TFTC Lava12

Out and about with Andytakk and geokid. Absolutely stunning view, bit breezy but a beautiful daytftc
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I started the day with a breakfast event in McLaren Vale, before spending the morning exploring the vicinity. We then headed west towards Myponga and Myponga Beach, enjoying a nice beach walk seeing the fascinating geology. A final late lunch stop was had in Myponga, and then we returned home in the early afternoon.
Some really cool scenic views up top of this hill today. It didn't take long to find this cache, however, watch out for the scorpion that I found at GZ. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lava12 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Today I headed down to the lands of Azzzo to see if I could reach my next milestone. Alas I fell 2 caches short so that will be tomorrow’s adventure.
Had fun in Wilunga and surrounds picking up 17 caches.
It was trying to rain for most of the afternoon but it was cool so less chance of being scared off by snakes.
Súper views up here. TFTC Lava12

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Based at Willunga house-sitting for a few weeks, today we set off via McLaren Vale to Port Noarlunga for lunch - how many caches can we find on the way I wonder?
What a brilliant view, Thanks for sharing it with us Lava12

We decided that caching in the Maclaren Vale would be a great way to spend a beautiful holiday Monday and find a few caches along the way. Thanks for bringing us to this spot with amazing views. TFTC
Out with hevwalker for the evening caching around the foothills.
We discovered that this road was undergoing some roadworks.
As the cache was sitting exposed on a nearby rock.
Signing the cache, we hid the cache better thanks for the cache lava12

Out & about with clare007 collecting a few caches this evening after work...
Well that was unexpected...pulled up at GZ to find the cache container sitting on a rock...there had obviously been roadworks & some slashing of the grass in the area...we suspect it was found by the road-workers & placed on the rock...
After a quick repair job the cache was hidden at the same spot but out of view...

I'm ashamed to say I believe I dropped the Lucky Penny at this cache, but I'm not entirely sure. Hopefully the next visitor will pick it up
Thankyou! Nice quick find, stunning location, especially at sunset. Had to crawl past a few wallabies down the bottom of the road.
Enjoyed seeking out some more caches by Lava 12 to interesting locations with jc125jc. Great hint for this one and a great view.
wet inside, dirty pencil or pen (I can't even tell what it is), but log is ok.

Found while out on a night caching adventure with Snap Happy, AnyMules and KiwiOzzie. We arrived and hunted for ages, I passed a fleeting comment that maybe Snap Happy parked on top of it...Yeah Yeah everyone said...low and behold, he moved the car and there was the cache. this all took place at about 1am. Sorry for the late and generic log...I am only new to GSAK.
Thanks Lava12 for placing and maintaining this cache.

**Out and about cleaning up some caches whilst house sitting in Mount Compass**...
Caught up with KiwiOzzie, AnyMules and joined by the lovely Tomboy 711... Shared a meal, many laughs and good times before turning 'in' about 1.30 am...
A short stroll, a short search, found the cache, stamped the log and returned... Apparently you can drive 'to the cache'...

Out and about night caching with AnyMules, Tomboy711 and Snap Happy. We had lots of laughs, drove on all sorts of roads (including some 'tracks') and finally returned home about 1.30am We got to GZ and the 4 of us started looking. Strangely all of us seemed to be wanting to be where the geomobile was parked. Snap moved said vehicle, and sure enough, there was the cache. The cache was not damaged, and we had a good laugh about it TFTC 28/05/2016 11:10 pm Find #1301
Found on a night out with KiwiOzzie, Tomboy711 and SnapHappy. This one would have been a lot easier to find if Snap hadn't parked right on top of it. After searching for a while we followed the GPS better and saw the camo right under where the drivers seat would have been. Can't park much closer than that. After moving the vehicle the cache was accessed easily. Another lava12 smiley on my map, and on a special find number too, all the twos. TFTC. 28/05/2016, 11:12 PM Find #2222
Down this way for work all week so tyoically id look for any caches close by I could grab in my lunch break. This was meant to be easy gps had me on the other side of fence, lucky I had my fluro on when I was stopped and questioned what am I doing. Nice views from up here. Another lava12 cache ticked off.
Tftc, took me a while despite the clue but I got it in the end lol! It's a bit waterlogged though
Mr Tardis was out for a quick caching run around McLaren Vale today. This one was found hiding in the logical place. Some lovely views from up here.

Found on a caching day out with the Hero Husband (Moneydork), Semik and Skippy. Thanks for helping make it a great day.
Grabbed this one while heading home (with a pretty big detour) from a friends, no idea my way around these back roads but luckily had no trouble getting there.
Was a great view of all the lights, would be interesting to see how far you can see in the daylight though. May have to come back one day.
Thanks Lava

A quick find in the obvious spot. That was a fun road getting to this cache! The cache had some water in it and would probably benefit from a watertight container. Logbook is in good condition though.
Thanks lava12.

Quick find today just on dusk, what a stunning view of the flickering lights over the town as the sky blazes Orange above the horizon.. TFTC

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo, we had a late start to the day but decided to head out and keep our fingers crossed that the rain didn't get too heavy.
Managed to visit Willunga and we were very impressed with this lovely town. Even managed to grab a late lunch at a cafe, which was really really yummy. Hope to revisit next week.
Of course we grabbed a few smilies whilst here and loved the history and views shared with us today. Im sure this is an even better view when the clouds are not as low as they were today but it was still impressive.

Cache was full of water. Thankfully the log was only damp as in the snap lock but we emptied out a half inch of water and sludge from the rest.
So much to see and enjoy around this area.
Will be back another day in daylight to see them better.

Today our plans are to cache Victor Harbour with earthlight & the x trailers picking up caches along the way, we didn't quite make it that far as we kept stopping to grab some of the many caches along the way, all told i managed 67 with no DNFs the weather held out for us today with slight drizzle towards the end of the night finally turning into heavier rain, gwen from the x trailers hit her milestone of 5000 finds tonight and it was smiles all round, it was a great day had be all and another trip is already being planned to get to Victor with no distractions on the way (yeah right lol) what a ripper view from up here : ) i looked further down the road trying to work out where the road goes down there, would be fun to go down there on a bike but would suck to walk back up it : ) TFTC
Have had a great time in the area locating quite a few caches with Earthlight and 3LG

Found on a day of 'drive-by caching' around Mclaren Vale. The little rental car struggled a bit to get up the hill, but we made it in the end lol. Fantastic views from the top. Glad the cache was not on the other side of the road in amongst the huge thistles - I've never seen ones that large >_< TFTC
A successful day caching with JJ52, such a lovely day to see some of the sights of Willunga/Mclaren Vale.
We thought we knew better than the GPSr, but were soon proven wrong lol
Eventually located the road, and cache soon in hand.
