More than two years since it was last found. A half dozen DNF logs since as well as a needs maintenance log. Hopefully this log will spur some action or free the area for a new cache.
This one seems to have gone ...

Had a throughly good look but no sign of it. But still a lovely view and nice walk to the top.
Continued on down the beach to look for this one and after a quick climb, soon found the hint object at GZ, but the Kiwi sign was nowhere to be seen. Spent at least 10 minutes inspecting GZ thoroughly, but no sign of any cache, camo'd or not. Hasn't been found for almost 18 months and with several DNFs, it probably needs a check by the CO. Thx anyway.
Looked for this on two separate occasions. Found the mossy post the second time around but no cache to be found
Searched around the hint at GZ but no luck.Had an interesting chat with 2 walkers doing Re Araroa Trail instead.
Good hike up the bank to this cache hasnt been found for a while over a year but its still there and well camoed as well natural camo reqs maintainece log very full and very old and crumbly wow a great outlook and well worth the climb enjoyed the view before the slippery trip down the bank tftc):)
Bit of a hike with a two year old in tow but we did it. Clever hide. GPS was spot on though. Brilliant views.
forecast said it was a bit showery today but it looked ok so we grabbed the rain jackets and headed out. Perfect caching weather, no muggles around! Cache in hand quickly though our leggies were feeling it a bit after doing mt Manaia walk the other day so it was a bit of groaning and puffing to get there!
Visiting NZ from the US. Spectacular views. Well worth the climb. This was our 4700th find and our 80th find in NZ. TFTH!
Climbed up here and was well worth it for the amazing view of the beach ! Like a postcard for sure !
Cool hide .....All good ...thanks kenny897

After eating all day on Christmas day, I decided to head off for a Boxing Day hike to start walking some of it off! So I headed out to Bream Head to do the loop walk there. Made a quick find here, but the log is a bit wet (but just signable) TFTC!
An easy find after walking the Bream Head track from Urquharts Bay. Fabulous views looking up the coast. TFTC
After a short way up to this marvelles hill we could enjoy the great view as well as finding this nice container.

After a somewhat precarious scramble up the hill, leaving the pregnant wife on the wayside, the cache was in hand along with some fantastic views. I must say the camo now looks more like boogers than moss!
Despite ascending by foot, the descent was mainly gluteal (slid on my bum all the way down!). Thanks for the cache in a great spot.

Headed out to the Heads early with Riser5 in tow. Parked up and headed south along Oceans beach towards the caches on the hill. Cache all good, nicely hidden. Fantastic views from here. TFTC!!!
Nice quick stop by this morning, still in place, lovely area, not so fond of the rotting seaweed
Enjoyed the walk thanks. Nice hide and scenic location. Will have to do the radar ascent another time when not challenged by a shoulder injury.
Hey Hey Hey 11:30am found this one while we were pretending to rest by the sign - lots of Muggles about. Introduced Muggles Mary to Geocaching and this was her second find on her first day, she was tickled. Cache was well hidden but has lost its camouflage. The glue? is still there and disguises the container quite well. Thanks so much for the cache.
This was the first cache that the boys of the team found as they headed towards the hut at Peach Cove to stay the night. The girls of the team found the one to the north. TFTC
Beautiful place. We had made a bautiful one-day mountain(hill)treck in this area:) Thank you for the cache!
Haven't been up here for a few years. How come the track up seems to be getting harder? Perhaps because the easier access is less obvious. Beautiful views and a glorious afternoon.
Great views from up here also thanks. Bit of a steep climb, but was worth it thanks. Layed in the grass and enjoyed looking out over the water on such a pleasant day after all the rain.
Found with butters*& kenny897 ages ago,now that I have a username & computer access logging now.TFTC.
This was the highlight of all our caches on the 1/1/11... just beautiful views we sat for a while and just drank it all in t4tc
Walked down the beach from the other cache. Took the harder route up (not too much fun in jandels!) Easier coming down!
The cache took a little while to locate due to its cunning camo.

10.45am. Worked up a sweat in the sun getting here. Took a moment or two of looking before I spotted it.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
2nd cache of the day; excellent camo, so took a bit longer to find... which made a nice opportunity for a quick rest before the grind up the hill for #3

#2 for the day, small climb reminds me that I havnt been out for a while. Nice bit of camo
Almost didn't see that one. Nice camo, Now up the hill, urgh, legs are killing me, good for soccer training though.
Managed to find a difficult route to the cache but a speedy one for the return-great hide & camo-tftc
Nice little hide. Can I please ask everyone not to allow any dogs on any part of the Bream Head -Te whara track !!. I read recently that a mauled Kiwi was found on the other side near the gun emplacement as Kiwi sometimes roam out in the open.Could we all keep an eye out for anyone abusing the ban ,there is plenty of signage stressing this. Thanks, Butters94.
FTF, Very blusterly today, found fairly easily, wish this had been up yesterday when i went hunting for the radar. Was looking here yesterday, not well enough though
