US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 23. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. Today was a westward drive from Belfield to Forsythe. We did some freeway side caching and an explore of a few towns along the way. Thanks.

Cache was a bit out in the open when we found it... put back where we thought it should go..
starting in Belfield, ND and heading to Montana, stopping in Glendive and Miles City. We where originally going to stay in Miles but big rodeo meant we had to push as little further on and ended up staying in Forsyth. Today we where collecting our quota or Montana caches
Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Visiting from Australia and found with Albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure...
After overnighting at a neat little motel in Belfield, we were now headed for an overnight stop in Montana. Managed to grab a few caches and stop at a few neat places along the way.
Caches that we found were all good with no issues.
Thanks for this one and for adding to the fun our trip. Greetings from Australia.....

I was able to dig this one out from the little bit of snow covering it. Nice sized cache. No dogs around today. Too cold? Thanks for the fun!
October Road Trip 2013
I had five days off of work and decided to head west on a road trip to try and finish up some challenge caches that I have been working on. I left Minnesota to drive to western Nodak, up into Saskatchewan, looped through Montana, heading home through Sodak, and finished up in Minnesota again. It was a fun trip by myself. I ended up with 2751 new miles on the car and caching in 67 different counties and 70 different DeLorme pages. Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this a possibility, especially in the desolate areas of North and South Dakota.
I parked at the motel and made the short walk to ground zero. No dogs today to worry about. Nice few of the coulee.

There really was a dog there too!
Part of my 4 day, 3,341 mile, 8 state, 3 province, $672 geocaching trip! The insane things we do for this hobby! Although tiring averaging over 800 miles/day, it was a truly amazing trip that colored in a lot of new territory on my map, brought me to some amazing places that I would never have gone to were it not for geocaching, and gave me plenty of time to reflect on life, family, and the beauty of the world in which we live. Special thanks to my amazing wife for allowing me to go off on this trip. Although she loves going with me when I geocache (most of the time) she was not interested in this kind of road trip LOL. I was able to move lots of trackables and find some great geocaches in the USA and Canada. Thanks to all the owners whose caches I chose to visit on my trip.
