Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
I will check out the hide in a couple of days once I get back into Sydney. Disabled till then!
nothing for me.
Been searching for a few weeks here and there.
after several searches i am inclined to declare this muggled.

Went passed today. If it was in the pine tree. This needs serious maintenence. The council crew have lopped ALOT of the branches off. Didn't bother searching.
I had no luck today even with some extra sets of eyes and even tried paf for a extra hint. I will watch to see if someone else can locate this elusive cache.
No luck on this one even though we had four sets of eyes looking. We looked in the obvious places (and the not so obvious), and gave it plenty of time, but not today. Met jkcourtz at the previous multi who provided transportation, a torch and much needed experience, but will have to come back again later. TFTH!
A quick find whilst in the area for work. I always love it when micros are in the first place I look!
Cheers

Forgot to log this earlier. Found with some assistance from first time geocachers just introduced to it. About to give up and but then found on a second going over. Tftc.
Found weeks ago but penless. Back again on a quiet day. Now have completed my closest to home cache. This one really is hard to see.

Finally. Finally. Finally. This cache has been our nemesis for far too long. Amazing how simple it was in the end with a little guiding hand. (thanks braelair). Once found there was lots of kicking and swearing. Don't stress over this one, it really is as simple as the 1.5 dif suggests. The Search Party Out
Finally! Crazy how hard this was for me and now that I have found it I feel like a bit of an idiot. I think the coordinates putting me out by 4-5m meant that I kept second guessing myself. Tube also smaller and darker than I expected. Thanks.
A sneaky little hide. Geoson and I were going ice skating today. I haven't been in about 20 years but it was a lot of fun.
GPS took us right to GZ initially, but then it started to wander and so did we. Geoson was saying it was not easy to look properly because there were RTA officials in their fluro vests parked nearby. Anyway as one of them approached us, I tried to look inconspicuous and said "come on, lets go" when he then asked if we were looking for the cache! He pointed us back in the right direction, ( we should have trusted the initial GPS reading) and gave us a hint. After that we found with ease. Thanks to that RTA cacher! (sorry didn't get your caching name)
Anyway, signed the log and then went on to skate for a few hours.
Thanks for this cache.
Turns out our annonymous helper was Steptoe! Thanks Steptoe

We couldn't find this one, even though we tried to think of the obvious spots. Possibly gave up too soon. Will have to come back sometime.
A quick and easy find. Mind you you could spend a bit of time here looking for it.
I haven't skated in years but now know where to come if I take it up again.

This was a long search, but some lateral thinking and a better read of all the logs led me to it. The secret with this one is to look in the obvious places first. TFTC.
Brief check during the recent COIR Christmas Show on Ice ..... all in good order!
I spent way too much time on this one, it was in a much easier spot than I had assumed. I must keep on thinking, 'look in the easy spots first!'
It took a paf before it was finally revealed, thanks paf....and thanks B,B & F.

Second time lucky for this one. Had to search for a couple of minutes. Never skated here but it is fairly close to home so good to discover the rink. Thanks for the cache.

Found today whilst bludging at work. Went with jimmy (yet to sign up) and mrryanmurray. Jimmy beat us to the goods again, found it like a pro! Those dreaded words whilst i was sniffing about " FOUND IT!". I used to come here for sports day every thursday whilst at school. Brought back memories. Signed the log. TOP Cache.
A tricky little hide. I tried this one a few days ago and came up empty handed.
Returned today with a basic hint of what I was searching for and after about 5 minutes spotted a little something. Yes! It was another of those small caches that give me so much grief.
Thanks team for giving us this challenge and I'll dip my hat to Geomatica who did the hardest job of claiming it as a FTF probably at some ungodly hour of the morning when there wasn't even sunlight to assist.

Found it today with Cattledog81 and Jimmy muggle. What a sneaky little hide. That definitely would have caused extreme hair loss had I have tracked it down alone. It was actually Jimmy muggle who found it! TFTH. SL.
DNF...... Oh sevabo and I couldn't find the cache when our GPS showed 0 metre but nothing to find it ah GRRR!!! And we will come back here one day. TFTH
WanderingAus wandered by on day 139 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, and made a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find.

My first attempt at geocashing. Not even sure if this damn GPS works but when I got home checked of Google Earth , well at least it showed me I was in the right area. Need to go for another look , soon....

Yippee found it. So frustrating earlier today not finding the cach but after re-reading your instructions and also doing a search on the word (Bison tube) Which I had no idea what it was. No wonder I couldn't find it first time around. I was looking around the tree, up in the tree, below the tree and in the bushes around the tree. This time understanding your instructions I narrowed it down and finally found it.
Thanks for the hunt.

No joy. Had a look around but wasn't comfortable loitering too long around parked cars.

Second visit for us after a very frustrating 1st effort. We checked thoroughly around the only thing that could have been the GZ, bent and stretched everywhere, but couldnt locate the thing! Again today likewise, until Abel A got on his knees to look within a hideyhole and it was revealed elsewhere in front of his face. Thank goodness! Must skate here sometime soon, weve tried Macquarie and Liverpool, but have yet to have the canterbury experience. TFTC
a quick search about 5am had this in hand reasonably easily, though I checked all the wrong spots twice first before the final reveal.
thanks.
(hmm, I must go skating again, haven't done it for years)

Quite busy around here this afternoon with muggles but we managed to find the cache easily enough without being seen.
Thanks,

I too saw through the camo after 1 lap around the 'Rink' and knocked of my most recent "Closest to Home" Unfound cache! Yay! It's good to be back in Sydney to clear out these little suckers that have crept in... here's a warning, be on the lookout for something a bit different from the Zal-ster this week!

Well done to Croyden Crew, the hiding spot stands out as a likely one when you arrive at GZ, there's certainly no need to give it away by displaying the cache without camo!
Nice quick find for me on my way through today, TFTC

On the way home from my soccer coaching, we stopped off at the Ice Rink on a glorious Winter's day! Despite the cloudless sky, the iPhone's gps would not hold a steady signal, and we went round in circles before we honed in, for a second time, on where the cache was hidden. Fortunately a caught a glimpse of sunlight on metal and...gotcha! I was expecting a slightly bigger bison - this one really is a micro! Signed log and replaced it, adding a loose piece of bark roughly across the top...enough to fool a muggle, but not a cacher!
Thanks for the hide, guys - always nice when a local one pops up on the radar!

Woo Hoo... Yeah... 100 FTF's
Was virtually 2 km away on a BER schools project when this one came along. Noth being one to pass up an FTF oppertunity, I headed on over. Sats were a little bit funny, mush have been the geometetry of the constellation at the time. Nevertheless, it was pretty easy to see the likely hide. Once around the "Mulberry Bush" and I was Cache in hand.
Nice one and thanks for the hunt
