out with agazo again today, he had already found this one so said he would get it for me, after waiting forever i got out of the car and found it in a few seconds, tftc
On a trip to the area getting some caches for a challenge. All good with the cache. Thanks
Yay found it second time i looked in the same place exactly where the clue said TFTC
Came down for a few days to complete a part of the A2O. The landscapes between Duntroon and Oamaru are pretty awesome!
Visiting the area for a few more cycle trails. . With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
Today started cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
#17693. One of many oak tree stops today (though this one wasn't part of the big series). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ while driving around North Otago picking up as many Mighty Oaks and solved puzzles as possible. A good day out, despite the southerly wind blasting us at many locations. And we had to drive past lots of caches too! Many thanks to all the cache hiders in the area, we are very grateful for the time and effort you put into geocaching.
Not the memorial oak we were after, but drive by en route. SW stayed in the car removing seed heads from his socks (from a previous cache) while I went out to retrieve. Had to get my walking pole to assist as the cache was semi buried.
It's tragic how many memorial oaks were planted if each one represents a local soldier who died in WW1. TFTC.

Out doing the mystery at the museum challenge. This was a cache I needed. Last one to get all the Jewels and in good timing as we have now got lighting thunder rain and hail. Yay! Thanks very much.
Finally finding some time to log these caches. Took a couple of days off work and decided that today was the day to knock off the next section on the A2O. A wee bit cool and quite windy but enjoyable none the less. A fee quicks finds and a few tough ones. A shout out to Drawp who I run into on the way and helped me with a couple. TFTC.
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 14 Herbert Forrest to Waitaki 51 caches found today. Missions completed by now so caching my way back up the island. Another mighty oak. Easy find. Thank you for the placement

I had moved my snail shell down the Waitaki Valley to Awamoko for a few days. Today I needed at least 6 caches for my personal challenge of having all the days on my calendar at the same shade of green or darker.
I had decided to walk this part of the A2O Trail to locate these caches.
The cache has been broken in half by a lawnmower but the old log was there. I didn't have a spare container with me by I did replace the log.
Cheers for the cache.

A quick park and grab while on my way to oamaru to get as many caches I can for points for the planatery Pursuit challenge. TFTC
Hubby not pleased i coukd not find it so insisted we return for him to look. Tricky parking. Damn it. He found it straight away. Grrrr. Why did i not bother to look there? Too obvious?
Came up from town on the bike grabbing some caches along the way into the headwind. .. now back enjoying a push. Cheers
Day 7 - of our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara, & myself) epic adventure around amazing Oamaru. With Geofest17 and Danseys Pass and A2O bagged, we are off exploring Oamaru again.
We ran out of time doing A2O, so back today to bag a few more before it rains.
Another Memorial Oak snagged and tagged. Cheers. Its starting to rain and we have all our washing out at Awamoko, so lets get going back to Zara

Tyabeedragon and I cycled most of the A2O from the elephants a few days ago. Now we are back, mopping up sections that we missed.
An odd one out memorial oak! Ahh - from before you had the memorial oak idea. A pre memorial oak memorial oak cache!

Found whilst here for the geofest race with flipnz and RowenaD, thanks for all the geocaches everyone.
thanks for the placement, we have been loved travelling and visiting the roads of oamaru and the many caches each CO has taken the time to place, thank you for taking the time to place and maintain them.

I thought i had logged all i found over the Geofest weekend, but it appears i have missed a couple, might have to be more organized with the next big event. Signed as TTT, thanks.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Our journey to the bottom of the South Island has been almost two years in the planning. We were determined to make it to Oamaru Geofest. We decided to also factor in completing a couple of missions (JASMER and Virtual challenges), and the wheels started turning...
Day Five: Oamaru Geofest
The afternoon was dedicated to walking sections of the A2O trail. We found it more effective to park strategically and walk between finds. We got to see a lot more of the countryside in this way, and we met some colourful characters too... The majority of caches were quick finds and in good condition... Figured out this hint earlier in the day. TFTC.

This was the ninth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
Found with pazzabella and Geocchi. TFTC.

I cycled some of the A2O trail today. A great all round experience, good weather, interesting countryside, and a few caches to find along the way.

3rd of our 6 Day Adventure to and around Oamaru for [Oamaru Geofest 2017](https://coord.info/GC6M2V0).
After dropping off our results for 'the Race' and rubbish for the CITO we had a few hours to kill before the Quiz tonight so decided to venture out a little further to help boost our numbers for the day. A quick find and sign here while Mum did a uturn as its now time to head back and grab some dinner before the Quiz. (you know... brain food) Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies

Headed out for a Mad Mission with Team_Gaters and 8ManAfter we signed our logs today 'T8T' cos were dynatmite! I grabbed 8Man at 5.30 am and we grabbed TG just before 6am and we were on the road before 6am with the bikes on the back. The plan was to drive to Oamaru and then attend the events and thrash the caches hard. We wanted to do as much of the A2O as we could and as many PnGs that we could manage. We stopped by the event first and then we had to stop an grab breakfast at 10am. We grabbed some lunch and headed for the hills. Had a great time and worked our way back to town for the CITO at 6pm. Scored a delicous dinner in town and headed home. Got home just after 12am knocking out 620km and 115 caches. Good times!
On the trial, quick find.
Cache 36 of 115 for this crazy day!
Thanks for the cache drawp.

A long days caching (Mad Mission?) with TheWanglers and 8ManAfter..revelin a bit of the Geofest Event in Oamaru. We signed our logs 'T8T' cos were dynamite...and 'in a hurry'...LOL! Picked up by TW & 8man at 6am...and we had our bikes loaded for a bit of A2O action during the day. The plan was to drive to Oamaru and then attend the events and thrash the caches hard. We stopped by the event first and then we stopped to town to grab some breakfast and a packed lunch and then headed out to hit some trails. Had a great time and worked our way back to town for the CITO at 6pm. Grabbed some tea in town then headed for home. Got home just on 12am knocking out 620km and just over 100 cache finds for each of us. A great day with great company!
Another mighty oak - a great series. Picked up whilst riding the nearby section of the cycle trail. Cheers.

After a half hearted attempt at rogaining with Geocchi and Agazo, we made a unanimous decision to abandon it and go for instant gratification without all the stress and go on a road trip and a numbers game instead. This was our first to do on our trail. Tftc!
Found with TTT. Having a wonderful time caching with the group and going to all of the Geofest events! Thanks for the cache!
Caching with our NZ friends signing as trans tasman team TTT. Loving the experience. Tftc
#2,973: Binge Smiley!
What an adventure we had today! TheWanglers, Team_Gaters, and I headed out at dawn from Christchurch with four goals in mind: 1) Find Many Caches, 2) Get TG to 7,000 finds, 3) get me to 3,000 finds, and 4) Have Fun! Needless to say, all were accomplished in spades. It was only my second 100+ day ever, and had us driving, walking, running, biking, and even crawling to make the finds. We were also able to find at least 7 different cache types, and attend two events, in order to catch up with old friends. Thanks to all the hiders, but most of all, thanks to my partners in crime! We signed all logs as "T8T", sung to the tune of AC/DC "TNT".

The second day of the Oamaru leg of our "Road to 6000" Challenge - and back on the bikes to pick up some caches along the Alps to Ocean bike trail.
DNF.

On a road trip to Dunedin with our bikes on board.
Felt like a short MTB power trail and this fitted the bill.
This took us far too long to find. Having found a whole heap of these when down for the Dunedin Mega I had forgotten what and where to look. Ms M finally put her hands on it.

Thought we would head out early to nab these so it was quite out about. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b+p. Find # 3628. Thanks for the cache drawp
This morning started out with CITO in Dunedin and then headed up to the Oamaru CITO with Eve07. Great fun day out with good haul of caches and rubbish
It was amazing foresight to plant these magnificent trees to remind us all. Too many trees in such a relatively small region - hard to believe or imagine the impact of 400 being killed. TFTC #8835
Stopped the car and went for a bike ride along here to pick up this and some of the nearby series. This one was a quick find, I have done so many of these in the last few days that I know now where to look first. Signed log, TFTC
A plan was hatched for a geocaching trip with eve07 and challispoint and young eve07. This was one of many found.
My 1000th cache! A good chance for my little caching Buddy to leave behind the poppy she's been wearing throughtout my ANZAC-and-a-bit-more weekend cycling trip. Thanks for creating this poignant series.
Out for a quick power trail this morning with K.J.R quick find. tftc
decided to squeeze a few more in before lunch
Not an easy spot to park, so I decided to park further, go for a walk, and collect on the way back. TFTC!!
JdScout and I are on a camper weekend. Our first stop was Temuka.
We left Temuka this morning and picked up two travel bugs at a travel bug hotel on the way.
I organised this event and dragged JDScout along. The event was enjoyable.
After lunch we got our bikes off the camper van and found this one. It was not quite on the cycle path but close enough.
