Decided that it's best to archive this cache as the hiding place has gone. Apologies to the owners of the missing TBs.
Many thanks to those who have let me know about the roadworks, especially to McMike2012 and Hello Mrs.

Passed this morning and noticed that the flax bush has now gone. Pleased the cache was rescued in time.
The road is being widened to 4 lanes and is my understanding that it will eventually be 4 lanes all the way up to Belfast. So i imagine the GZ will unfortunately be removed.
I visited the cache site this evening & removed the cache - it is now in my care. I will hold onto it while the road works are underway & until I/we can determine if the actual GZ is going to be destroyed or removed...when I visited, there were purple spray paint marks on both sides of GZ. For anyone that's interested, this link will show what Transit NZ is planning for the area. Look at the PDF map.

I have transferred all the TB's that I collected into my care & will endeavour to move them all along shortly. There appears to be several that are nowhere to be seen...hopefully they'll turn up.

Apparently roadworks are taking place in the area. Am disabling until these are finished.
Hope the hiding place doesn't get removed!
Thanks to McMike2012 for alerting me, and who will be taking the cache into safekeeping.

Found it, first hotel cache ever found took tb black White club, and a funny little key one
A quick check on this cache just to end the year. Delighted to be able to swap some trackables for some new ones. Also left behind some very impressive ones!
Toytrix_nz has just added a nice few collectibles he has found over the Xmas holidays - ready to be checked-out and continue on their travels
passing by with TB that wanted to race home - so thought id give him a helping hand... TB in ( yes i groaned when i saw it - but you where right no fear...)
Nice hiding spot. Not too many muggles in this potentially high muggle spot. Dropped off GC. Picked up GC.
Only two TB in residence at the moment. Have left them both there for the next traveller With Skunkgal.

Having had a bite to eat, I realised I'd still enough daylight hours to do some more caching before I had to return the car.
The local TB hotel was the obvious choice. Sadly there were no GCs or TBs at all when there should have been heaps.
I replenished with two from my swag, but in hindsight I should have brought one of them home with me to Oz.
Ah well that'll teach me not to check first.
Thanks for the cache.

Came to swap GCs but the cache was completely empty.
Left 2 GCs but no wondering whether that was wise given the missing inventory

This was a little bit hard for me to find but a well done cache.

Before we went back to the North Island we wanted to give the coin we still had a better place to get further. Thanks.

We decided to grab this one quickly, and it was an easy find, however what we found inside was shocking A TB which an owner who lives very close to us back in Australia owns, was sitting right in the cache We grabbed the TB, and will happily send the cache back home now to Aussie land

20/11/12 7:27 PM dropped off Rod Flanders TB that I picked up yesterday but wants to continue its travels in NZ.
Last one for the day- looked in the wrong place for a minute but got there in the end- pretty hard to miss if you're in the right spot! TFTC!
Was keen to find a friend to take north with me and figured this was a good place to look. Found Kiwi cacher who I will log tonight when I'm home. There is now currently no one at the Inn. Next stop Motueka!
Overnighting in Christchurch and visited cache being handy and last call for the day!!! As per description, a very easy cache to find although very exposed to passing traffic. Recovered a coin and discovered a dog tag which I will record and update log when I return to Auckland. Currently list of trackables in log does not correspond to physical reality. TFTC.... Additional update: Coin = "Wales Flag Micro" and TB = "Kiwi Catcher Twin".

We hopped off the plane and had a few TBs and coins that needed to move on. When we saw GZ we thought we had madea mistake however teh hide was well down. We could not find any of the lists coins or travel bugs in the cache and dropped in 2. We completed the signing duties and re hide. TFTC

We were over here for New Zealands first ever Mega Event when we found this neat cache towards the end of our two week caching blitz of the South Island.
What a fantastic two weeks it has been as well, it has been a really neat driving around the South Island checking out the spectacular sceanery, we are in AWE of your back yard, truely beautiful.
Many thanks for the placing the cache.............TNLNSL......................Cheers.

Found today, a great sized cache and a brilliant idea for TB transit stops. I only saw two trackables in the cache though, not the many listed as being in the container Took Berner Geocache Event Coin, and will drop it off somewhere in the Bay of Plenty when I get back home. TFTC
Quick find on our second last day. Did with Mycro Man on our NZ MEGA 2012 South Island Trip
Went to pick up my TB but was not there.

Stopped by this morning with Roostaman on our return trip to Christchurch after attending the mega event in Dunedin, and whilst the cache was found in the obvious spot, I thought the location was a little bit too exposed for a TB cache. Would hate to have it muggled with a lot of trackables in it.

Cracking the Ton! Found with troobloo and Bushbaby321 heading home from the NZ MEGA. SL TN Left some pathtags along the way. Dropped off some trackables we picked up at the MEGA. One that was to return to Christchurch and the other to continue it's NZ trip. T4TC
Dropped off Oyster and Champagne to go to Australia, and Travelling Nerd to explore NZ
Nice easy find. Picked up "Tools of the Trade". Left a couple of TB's but didn't leave the Swiss Geocoin in our possession as this cache seems to "lose" a lot of trackables.
Finally got to find this cache either ran out of time, daylight or there were too many muggles present. Dropped in a Geocoin CPQP56, it has spent quite a lot of time in the South Island especially in the Otago region, we picked it up from Hanmer Springs and placed it here with a note attached - "Hello Fellow Geocacher’s. This geocoin has been in the South Island for quite some time now, we have brought it out from Hanmer Springs and would like to suggest that someone takes it for a ride in a Tin Budgie (airplane) to Auckland or overseas. Tuesday 25th Sept 2012, 1eyednbf, so if someone would do this that would just be great.
Nice easy find whilst out driving that way. Only the one TB in it unlike the list that is on here? Took the one to move it on it's way. Busy road ... got a toot from a muggle but think they thought we were taking a leak in the bushes!!
No T.B's there today, so left one for the next person to find
Found with debsnz.
Found with debsnz.
No trackables in this cache so not sure why there are so many listed.
Found with Aoraki Sheep.

Easy find - picked up 2 Travel Bugs (all that we're in the Cache - so not sure what's happened to the rest of them!). Dropped off 1 Travel Bug. TFTC. # 25 for us.
A good drive to cache and one for junior cachers. Very busy road so have to be careful as to who's watching. No sign of the trackables. Will check again in a few weeks.
Detoured on the way home from Antarctic centre to drop off TB that had been sitting at home far too long. TFTC, specially cause there seem to be rather few roomy caches about at the moment.
After our job had finished about midday, we went on a quick tour of the ChCh CBD to see the damage before I had to drop my colleague back at the airport about 2:30pm, my flight back to Australia isn't until tomorrow. So I had a bit of caching time. Headed over to this, and made a quick find - luckily on the opposite side of the bush to a truckie working on his load. Took a TB, unluckily I had already left the 3 I had brought from Australia in other caches. Thanks Troodles, StreetWalkerNZ & Kuertu.
Out early for a spot of caching before work. Grabbed this one just after dawn while things are still quiet. TFTC.

A 'noisy' find on this beautiful mothers day morning, quick stop off with the family on our way to bikingat MacLeans Forest. TFTC
Hee Hee, I must admit I groaned. TFTC, retrieved one bug, discovered 3.
13/04/12 12:25 PM Find #878 Lots of traffic whizzing past here so I decided to park at the end of the path and walk back before ducking in to make the find and swap out a travel bug or two, sign the log and checkout the other residents before waiting for the 'right' time to make my escape.
(Joint) owner check. All good. Left 4 trackables transported down from parts North.
This popped up by the side of the road as we were heading back to Mrs SoBad's cousins so pulled over to find 'just another one' for the afternoon. We had been mainly doing puzzle caches so took the chance to look for a bigger container. Heart sank when spotted where GZ was but then read the page and it was a quick find as the CO's intended. Unfortunately we then realised the coins and TB's were back at the house so no trade. Thanks.
A quick easy find as the traffic roared past. None of the TB’s had missions attached, so we left them. TFTC
Visited here with kiwicampnut.
Found no TB's (have posted notes for the 4 that should have been here). 3 have been missing for over a year
Left the 3 TB's I have been carting around for a while. Hopefully they will move on with a cachers (and not under their own steam).
TB's are Baloons Over Waikato, Treasure Ahoy and White Jeep Travel Bug "Nearra".
Happy travels.

Gave RuruNZ an almost door to door service for this cache as where she said to park I saw the tarseal pathway which I headed down - in the car. I did however turn around and we walked the last 30m to cache site much to her delight.
Very disappointed not to be able to discover any TB's as there were none in the cache. RuruNZ however placed some in - see her log. Kiwicampnut

Wow super busy road, tried to be very discreet. No trackables but enjoyed the challenge. Thanks
Stopped here on the way out to Kiapoi, yes it's a busy road!! GZ felt very exposed.
Our family comes from Christchurch and my sister (Tiki Tour) and I are visiting for the first time following the quakes. It has been very moving. quite a busy road !!! a quick dash for GZ. no TB's in cache.TFTC
Heading overseas in two weeks so stopped and picked up the only two TB's present.
Cessna 182 & Jo vs the Volcanos.
Salamat!

Had to wait for some very slow muggles to pass only to find an earlier muggle was on their way back. Eventually grabbed it and logged.
Found it pretty quickly. Needed to as it was raining. Dropped off Bob the travel Monkey
