The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.

Nothing there as far as I can tell. 8 months since a find and no response from the CO... Perhaps it's time to archive?
I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

Looked in all the obvious places, and a few less obvious. As others suggest I suspect this one has gone walkabout.
Isolated the spot , pretty obvious but not a sign of the cache even after an almost 'comb search'. Notice no finds since May so have to assume it's gone ??? Pity!! ....... TFTH!!
Our last day in NZ, it was a nice time, we visited a lot of nice places, met many nice people and found a great number of interesting and creative caches. This last day we made one last round near our camp ground and found a number of caches. On the main street we enjoyed the view to both sides, salt water on the eastern side and sweet water on the western one behind the park. That makes the whole area so interesting and nice! The cache was a quick find.

Last cache for me for the day introducing newies sbensonnz and x.lost.angel to the sport (visited some old ones I have found before). sbensonnz's GPS did not settle and he wandered off, but I was sure I was in right area, spotted an obvious place nice and quick and got his other half to retreive it. TFTC #69
Nice easy find. Good to find some on a hard day of looking. It would be geocaching if we had found some today. TFTC
Got some time before dinner out so we decided we could find a geocache or 2 TFTC
Was a bit annoyed when I parked and noticed some muggle in her car, who didn't look like she was wanting to leave... so I decided to see how close I could get anyways.
Luckily once I was close to GZ, I was out of her view!!
Initially looked on the wrong side, and was a bit perplexed as to where exactly one would hide a cache here!! But then as soon as I moved over to the correct side, I spotted a super obvious as spot, and yay for a cache there too ae!!
And muggle was still there upon my return! Haha, but off I went.

A nice easy find on a very cold and blustery spring morning. Even the swans thought it was too cold to be on the lake today. Cache all good. TFTC
Doing a short loop walk before yet more rain comes down. This was a quick find and raised lots of interest from swan muggles but no humans in sight today. NINO TFTC
Nice little park this one. The ladies admired the views while I made the run for the cache to sign the log. Nice hide.

Found it quite quickly. Yes log is full and needs replacing, I signed on a strip of paper kindly left by previous cacher.
It was very peaceful here this morning with only the waterfowl for company. A quick find - the log is full and needs replacing. Thanks for bringing me here and for the interesting information on the location. TFTC
If the lake was any higher a mask and snorkel would have been needed. The Italian Job was here!
No chance of even looking at GZ today. As I approached GZ, had 3 white geese with orange beaks open wide, flying straight at me, honk, honk. Missed me by an inch. Then they chased me away from GZ, honk, honk, so made a retreat to higher ground and sat and waited. They were more patient than I was, so abandoned the cache for another day, perhaps when they are asleep, honk honk.
Windy here today, the level of the lake really high but some natural growth proved a satisfactory cover for the cache. TFTC
Very squidgey underfoot today and lake level quite high. Got chased by a large white geese, managed to put the gate between us just as he got to me. Caching can be quite dangerous...TFTC
Nice Spot on this great Queens birthday weekend.
Qucik find TFTC Sl (Could do with another log sheet)

been to the park before for a previous cache. lovely spot down on the lake. LOADs of boats out there for some 24hr sailing challenge. Mrs BMNZ got attacked (bitten on the shoe) by a goose. The littles were scared crazy and ran a mile but then we turned the tables on them and had them fleeing (the geese that is). Found cache spot quickly, littlies didnt want to get their hands dirty so it was up to dad to get in there for it. TFTC.
Lots of ducks around.. Beautiful day.. Easy find and enjoyed the walk.. Thanks for a great cache..
Found with Biggles while caching in the area. Mr KE had a standoff with one of the locals while Biggles retrieved the cache. Thanks
Found on day 2 of a 3 day Auckland cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. A more relaxing day all round in which we ONLY found 68 caches. I think the day took us from a Park in Henderson to Henderson Park... I think the cache guardians were spending a lot of time swanning around too. TFTC, Biggles.
Have been to other lake reserves but not this one! One of 262 finds on 24 hour Auckland cache raid by Team Y-Cacho's. TFTC
Parked by your cache while driving the Team Y-Cacho's Auckland cache raid 24 hour mission
Many thanks for your cache, plan to be back soon with Butterfly_Lady

OmaGosh, over and out...

After a walk from Milford to Takapuna, we decided to walk the road back.... just in case there were some caches. ahhh yes, grabbed this one quickly and went on our way
Haven't been to this particular park before. Sat on concrete edge of lake to fill out log, had to grab cache quickly before the inquisitive swan got it - don't think it would have been all that tasty. TFTC
Nearby for a rowing regatta today so thought I might sneak away for a few minutes and make a quick grab. TFTC
Found this cache nice and easy on an afternoon out with Furbies, got a good view of the afternoon sun (good photo too)
Nice little park, Hadn't visited this one before, Obviously, otherwise i would have found this cache already. Ha ha... Cheers
Apologies for the late log.
First time in this little reserve. Never seen the lake level so high - from the lakeweed on the shore it's obviously been even higher in the last few days.Trees nearby have taken a battering in the recent storms but the hide remains secure. Thanks.

Really easy find. Watched by a windsurfer but I don't think he was suspicious. Would like to report cache remains dry despite the heavy rain over the weekends. TFTC!
Narwhal had a poke around but couldn't see it. Oomoo got a bit dirty but nabbed the cache TFTC
A few young (male) muggles nearby riding a bike off a ramp in to the lake...
Cache was not in their line-of-sight, so easily recovered

Out this afternoon with a good friend who does not know anything about geocaching. So good opportunity to introduce the adventure, still working on it! Wow, have driven past here so many times but have not had a reason to stop, well today we did.
No muggles around this avo so a good find. Over beyond the lake though was a rowing competition. Thanks for the adventure. TFTC!

Sat and had lunch watching the windsurfers out on the lake. Mind the duck poo, its everywhere. Nice little urban park. TFTC
Decided to have a walk along the shoreline this afternoon picking up a few caches. Had to venture inland a bit for this one but then, I suppose, it is on A shoreline of sorts and I did walk.
Have to agree with the the.pud's comments on the size of container here.
Cheers for the cache.

Several very grumpy swans had the Junior Pastamakers in retreat before Mr and Mrs Pastamaker showed them that we can be very protective of our young and we are much bigger than they are! (Don't worry bird lovers, all we did was gather the Juniors close to us and march confidently where we wanted to go!)
Homed in on GZ pretty quickly but still took us a couple of minutes to find the well hidden cache.

Very quiet first thing in the morning, not a muggle to be seen, not even a duck!
A short walk and a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.
