Logs
New to geocaching and accidentally pushed found it when I didn't sorry guys!
Lost?
Not found in over 6 months. Despite the incorrectly logged entry on the 14th Jan which was logged as found but was not.
No comments from CO in logs during the past 6 months of no-finds.
Request therefore that the CO check the cache and enter something in these logs confirming its placement or I will request archiving within 28 days.
Suggest other cachers don't bother looking until this is confirmed as intact and findable.
Two of us spent 20 mins looking today without any luck. Frankly we all have better things to do than look for things which are unlikely to be there.
Let me know if I can help at all?? I live 25 mins away and could check this next weekend if you want to provide me details as to where it is if checking this is difficult for the CO??
Regards.
Cretti.
-- update: have heard from the CO that they will be checking this ASAP. Thank you.

3 of us searched every nook and cranny but no luck Lots of muggles around try again
We were taking a lunch break at the Puhoi Valley Cheese Factory, and thought we would grab this cache beforehand, but unfortunately, like the previous cachers who attempted this, we could not find this one. Looks like it has been muggled.
Bummer DNF might go have another look after soccer although pretty sure it's not there anymore
Yep a no go for me as well [:-(] although there is not a lot of cover to hide a cache and I think the sun was in my eyes lol
BUMMER!!!
Couldn't find this one, looked for ages.
Perhaps it has been moved on??
Success with other geocache in this area though.
I will certainly be returning to this wonderful place and have another go.

Quickish find with K9 and little bro. Logbook signed and now a tad wetter courtesy of K9 going for a swim then off
Have converted manchester sam and valence mathilda to the art of geocaching...my first remote control find while waiting for food at the puhoi pub...another find with wendythebean.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were on our way North for Easter in the slow traffic and decided to call in to Puhoi for a quick stop and grabbed this cache. A straightforward find, thanks for the cache!

Very easy exciting find for two newbies....... Sam and Matilda both so excited about finding cache, that they did a little jig......kiwisurveyor and I sat giggling at their antics over a cold one...... Tftc

After cleaning up the caches in Dunn's Bush this morning, I stopped in Puhoi just to check some things on my phone and I noticed a couple of caches here that I had not found. No worries, had parked just over the bridge so a quick stroll back across and while no one was looking, ducked down to find the cache. TFTC!!!
sorry cant find it and the hint was of no use in helping. Just didnt see it. Sorry we tried hard.
Stopped here today for a picnic and couldn't resist to grab this cache. the Puhoi pub is definitely very popular, there were so many people out there today you could think there was a function TFTC
Thank you very much for this nice cache. It was our first Found in NZL. Kind regards
Found on our way up North to replace one of our caches. We have actually never been to Puhoi during all the time we have lived in NZ. Shame. Such a cute little settlement. We loved the library and the stories they told us there.
No problem with the cache. Then off to some swinging over the river.

we looked and looked for this cache a year ago and thought it time to have another go and what do you know we found it within a few minutes .TFTC
13.15: On the way from Paihia to Pukekohe and the Awhitu Peninsula. Puhoi is simply a must when we are north of Auckland. We like this litte village, the library and the cheese factory. An easy find using the hint.
Weather: quite fine, some clouds, 20°C;
Wheelchair: on road and bridge, not to the cache.
State: the logbook consists of sheets only.
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thank you!

Found this cache with No Fixed Aboder. Sorry about the delay in logging.TFTC
Found by Lizzie10 and Roger of the Collie Crew from the UK. A nice say find, really enjoyed the pub and of course the beer.TFTC.
On way with Mum, Dad & Hubby for lunch at the cheese factory and then on to walk the Dunn Bush track. GPSr put me close enough for caching instinct to take over, didn't need the hint. TFTC
Managed to avoid a couple of kayaking muggles just about to launch their boats on the other side of the river. What a really quaint village this is. TFTC.
mmm your right bout the signal.. trying to look like i was up to nothing to the people watching... and to think i came so close to it the first place i went.. got there in the end thanks - surprised i has not gone swimming..
Plenty of people out enjoying a late lunch up the road so made a quick grab while back home after away for a customers work conference so thought a few caches on the way home was only appropriate, TFTC
2.45pm. Out for a days caching with JF but it sure was a wet one.

2.45pm. lucky that this proved to be a quick find as it was pretty wet here this afternoon. Dry in the immediate vicinity of the cache but not enough shelter for the geocacher.

Just checking a few caches to go for when we next come back to stay with family in NZ, in just over a month, and we noticed we hadn't logged this one from our previous visit in July when we enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Puhoi pub with our relatives the JayTNice crew, who then walked over with us to grab this cache that day. Sorry to be so late - we did sign the log, honest!
Bit tricky as tracking all over the place. Was out in the open so rehidden. TFTC JayTNice
Found it quick with the hint. Today there was a really interesting rural fire brigade action day going on nearby, so extra stealth was applied, but everyone was distracted watching firetrucks, burning cars aso.

Geocaching beings me to another place I haven't previously visited. Thanks for the interesting historical information. My GPS was on form today and I had no problem tracking down the treasure.
I've driven past here so many times and have never turned in for a look. But now I have. Yep GPS was all over the place and we definitely made this harder than necessary. Had a break and found the other caches up the road and dropped in for another go heading out and then the penny dropped and cache was in hand! TFTC
Great to finally stop in and see this pretty wee place. Parked the Geonut and GPS all over the place. Left this to complete others nearby and called in heading back for a smilie thanks.
Wandered over from the Puhoi pub after a beer and wedges for a quick find. TFTC.
Car GPS took us the back way from Waiwera over to here, we were on our way to another cache, but spied this one instead. Quick find, lovely down by the river early evening. SL. TFTC.
Heading north for the day, this was our first stop and find. We've driven through Puhoi several times before we started caching, but this was our first time since. Quite a few people about but no one seemed to be watching as we headed along the river. A quick search to find and sign the cache, and then we made a quick stop to visit the Puhoi library - I was informed this may be the smallest operating library left in New Zealand. TFTC!
First cache of the day on caching day trip north of Auckland. We had been to Puhoi a few times by hadn't stopped in the main township before so had a look around while we were there. TFTC.
This was my first time that I have ever visited this small settlement of Puhoi, have driven pass numerous times before but this was my first trip that I have cache further north than Orewa. Arriving into this small settlement I decided to drive across the bridge and park on the other side of the river as the main little township was parked up with the locals. After parking up I had a quick walk back to GZ which wasn't an issues, actually I think that it was a better idea that I did as I did as none of the muggles from across the road paid any attention as to what I was doing. Arriving at GZ my GPSr was bouncing all over the place so decided to just trust my caching instinct and was able to find the cache in the first spot that I looked, after replacing the cache decided that I would go and take a couple of photos of the area before moving on, what a nice little township, thanks for placing a cache here and bringing me to this lovely spot, TFTC TNLNSL (3624)
On our way north(ish) for the weekend, took a detour to Puhoi to have cream tea and log a couple a caches, as you do...
Very nice village, quaint! Wish we had time to stop at the pub!!

On way home from 11-11-11 event and still caching!! We come past here quite often and don't turn into Puhoi often enough - what a delightful wee spot. Had our picnic near GZ but decided we needed to come back for a 'progressive' eating session - great pub, great 'tea' place and great cheese factory - hmmm - hard choices!! TFTC and bringing us here
On our way home from the 11-11-11 event in Auckland with Flowernz, thought we would find a few caches on our home North.
What a great little spot, enjoyed a cuppa by the river then went to the chhees cafe and the other cache nearby. Picked up a TB that had been dropped off but not logged yet.TFTC

Found it with Simal during our trip in Northland. Greetings from Czech republic and TFTC. IN:TB
GPS all over the place and indicated the spot to be about 30m from where it actually was, but found it.
Had to visit Puhoi today so took the opportunity to do a couple of caches. Its been a long long time since we were here last, noticed a few changes but its still the picturesque little village we remember. Quick find here although it was pretty crowded over at the pub, a large gathering of bikers outside enjoying the summery weather. TFTC.
3.50pm. An easy find and I don't know how I missed it last time.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Out trying to finish off my unfounds between Mahurangi and Hatfields Beach.
There were a few muggles at the Fish & Chips shop across the road but I was soon out of sight locating the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Gave up thinking the floods must have taken it. But it seems we just simply didn't look in the right place.

6316 Very busy at the village today... lots of punters at the Puhoi Pub, nice spot, TFTC.
Cache only just stayed out of the floods from the cyclone. Neat to see last loggers were from Bohemia, Czech Reb and someone had left a Rand. All very international. Must be 100 bikes today marking the long weekend - seems not many bikers are cachers or this would be found more often! NINO TFTC
Not particularly because we are from Czech rep. but we loved Puhoi! Thank you for the cache and we wish this place all the best!
Fitzy and I are visiting New Zealand for a week to do some caching and have a look around.
This was our twenty-second cache on day two of our adventure.
What a lovely little town. The local shop had great pies, and fitzy says the coffee was good too.
