Out & about caching on this lovely spring day. Nice walk to stretch the legs. Quick find by Geowife. TFTC
Well this one I didnt get my hopes up but I dunno what it looks like me crawling around looking at every bolt & gap in metal Young fella sat quietly enjoying the view while mum searched. Finally! Did I already look there? As I retrieved it I can see in far distance on Yarrawonga side a lady walking. Quick sign & return. TFTC! FP!
Tftc, Lou and Paul from the Blue Mountains NSW. Travelling with Savannah. Cache in good order.
Casual walk over from Victoria. Had to crawl around a bit on all fours before I found it. Further north than anticipated. TFTC
Grabbed on a family walk. This walk had much complaining so we were grateful that we luckily laid hands on this one quickly. Mrs Mochila had returned early to watch the big, lots boats, but we stopped to grab this one on the way back. Cache in excellent condition. TFTC.
Outnabout for some solo caching while travelling from The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide to the Capital GeoBash Mega in Canberra. After a DNF on this one 8 years ago I almost gave up again but suddenly there it was. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC skullracing
We explored both sides of the weir, even though the road that crosses it is currently closed. After completing the Adventure Lab nearby, we came to find this traditional, and after a small search could feel it, but it still took a little bit to extract it from its hiding place. Log signed Thanks skullracing Domsky
Parked at the road block, and walked out to GZ. Cache was quickly found, log signed, and replaced
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY ONE: Wilby, Yarrawonga, Narrandera & Griffith.RoamingHowie spotted the cache but it was too far to reach. So back to TEX to grab a tott to help with retrieval. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, skullracing ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 1: Melbourne to Griffith via some rain, storms and a few caches. After checking a few spots this one was located however that was when the fun began. During retrieval it rolled into its hide so we had to gather some TOTTs to make it accessible again.Log signed and returned to its home. Thanks skullracing for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. It was a great day out!----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Found on a ride to the farmers market in Yarrawonga. Took a bit of searching but eventually located the container. Nice hide.TFTC
TFTC took about 15 min but found it. Glad I didn't need to be close to the spiders
Well that was a tricky one! The coordinates threw us as it was taking us in the opposite direction. We were able to locate it through a fellow geocachers post TFTC
No pen so hope the pic will suffice ️

Made the easy find. Cache in excellent condition. Hope I have not pushed it in to far. Thanks for the cache
Walked through the Mulwala club with Peanut Travels, walked past the old plant and onto the bridge. Road was closed at the time so no cars were around.
Cache was in a very good spot.

Heading to SA following the Rutherglen mega and mainly exploring places by way of ALs plus a few caches along the way. After time around the Mount Gambier area I will gradually make my way back home to the north coast of NSW. Thanks to all the COs for placing caches.
Got up early today to catch a few caches before the drive south and then west. Got a great sunrise photo at the weir.

A new day a new adventure, loving caching in the area! Sadly have to work tomorrow so making the most of today. Weather seems to hold and looking better than yesterday. A few more in the Rutherglen area and visiting all the wineries before starting the long drive home.

Found on a trip to the Rutherglen Mega with some others after parkrun. Log sheet was wet. Thanks for the hide skullracing
I travelled from Melbourne to Yarrawonga this morning for a parkrun. This parkrun tourism is as addictive as geocaching, really. So looking over the Murray I realised this was an opportunity to find a cache in NSW as well. Living on the southern border of Victoria - literally on the coast - makes these uncommon '2-states-in-a-day' pursuits worthwhile .
After a DNF on a multi nearby I made my way back over the border stopping for this easier trad. Found after a few minutes of searching with some fellow parkrunners. That's NSW ticked off for today.
Thanks, skullracing.

Those cache gaurdians across the boarder are HUGE. I stuck my hand were it didn't want to go far too many times ..fearing a ??? bite or two (actually after the bites I received a few weeks ago I might have built up a risistance) I stood back to ponder things and spied the cache 1st NSW cache for me. Walking back over the boarder from the other bridge I spied many more of these humungous spiders WTF?? Way to go scaring off us Victorians.
Lucky we did not have to put our hands near the paper wasps or beautiful golden orb spider, thank you for the cache.
Found while doing the adlab. Didn't have a pen so taken pic of logbook.

A nice quick find. Loads of water spilling over the weir at the moment.

Another day to myself and with the yard to wet to do any work around the house I decided to head over to Yarrawonga/Mulwala and do some caching.
Nice stroll over to the wall. A clever hide. Few twists and turns sticking fingers everywhere and I eventually spotted something.
