Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Found this out in the open and in reasonable condition.
Logbook dry but tatty, have see much worse.

Not knowing that the cache was under maintenance and arriving at GZ and seeing the cache was a little exposed, we open to find a nice dry log book and every thing else was dry as well. So I don't know why it needs maintenance. Signed log and returned cache with a bit of extra camo.

This cache badly needs help!
The lid won't go back on the container properly.
The log is in extremely poor condition - torn, pages separated, cover half gone. It needs to be replaced urgently.

Got to GZ just at sunset and thought this would probably be a DNF as it was getting dark and I couldn't see anything. Turned out to be an easy find as the cache did not appear to have been returned to its hiding spot but was in the open.
SL and returned it to the container but could not get the lid back on properly. Placed cache where I thought it was supposed to be and tried to provide a bit of camo.

On an evening dedicated to Navigation the Leaders took the opportunity to teach a new generation of Scouts the hobby of Geocaching. We taught the Scouts how to find the Geocache both with a GPS and also with a topographical map. Small groups of two or three Scouts took it in turns to search for the Cache. Great feeling that a new group of kids have progressed from Muggles to Geocachers! Thanks to one of our wonderful past Scouts, MillFinders, for the cache.
Easy find, but very very difficult to get the lid off.
Worked around the edge before it finally came free. Good luck to the next person (WD40 might help).
Thanks for the cache!

very quick find. the lid was very stubborn though: I couldn't say IT was "very quick" to open. Had magnums near here and took the TB. TFTC
I have come down from the Gold Coast for my brother's 60th birthday and I just had to combine it with a good number of Sydney caches.
I am really revisiting my home town because I was born and bred in the Lidcombe area and my brother lives at Guildford so I have picked some caches around the general area and looking forward to see how many I can fit in.
This cache was a bit further north than I was planning to go but I had come here for a very specific purpose.
Some time back (I am ashamed to say) I picked up a special TB with a special request.
This TB is a genuine Scouting Woggle, and the request was to place it as close to a Scout Hall as possible
I had hoped to place it at a scouting camp location in Qld but it was a bit far away from us.
When I was planning to come to Sydney I looked at caches I could visit and the Cache name just jumped out at me.
When I saw that it was actually placed by a Scouting Cacher my decision was made this is where I wanted to place it.
Thanks MillFinders Go and check out the TB before it gets moved along and show it to the troup I am sure they will love it.
TFTC SL TNLN except for TB of course

Reperio at 1550.
After attending the NSW Geocaching 101 event, FarmerFrenzten and I spent the rest of the day finding a few caches together. Don't come across too many of these types of containers anymore...and for good reason. The container was completely rusted, and after a slight wrestle with the lid, we finally were able to sign the log.

Found with Marcus Vitruvius during a quick run following the Geocaching NSW 101 event.
It's been a while since I have seen a container like this. Mostly because they don't tend to go the distance but in saying that this one has held up ok so far. After some initial difficulty removing the lid we were able to sign the log before moving off to the next hunt.
TNLN and thanks MillFinders for the cache.

Being raining we parked very close to GZ and ensured no muggles around. We soon spied the Scouty Hide and had the contained in hand. It was very hard to open so had to think like a scout and use some bush craft assistance to open it. Certainly some effort was required but we got it open. SL and replaced

Found with one geocub and one geokid. Pencil needs sharpening but didn't have anything to sharpen it with - note, will add sharpener to my kit. Signed log. Didn't bring Scout badges to swap so swapped two trinkets. TFTC

A rather quick find on our way back to the hotel. I did not realise that there were so many boy-scout locations here.

Our 1nd ever cache to find... we went around driving near the scout hall... our compass told us to stop so we jumped out of the car and all 4 of us started looking around and Bec found it.. The lid was so tight! It was all rusty! But we were so excited cause it was our first treasure find! We put a fake diamond ring in and we swapped it for a bouncy ball

Took the boys out today and this was our second ever cache find. Two out of three for the day.
The cache was easily located but opening was a little challenging due to rust and some denting !
Well done, MillFinders, thanks for the cache !

Good drive-by cache for anyone driving. Found the log out of its cache but all was OK and I placed it back inside with a little extra camo on top. TFTC guys.
3989. [font=Century Gothic][green]Well this one sets the bar for the hardest to open cache of the weekend. Very few people venturing out but those that are are exposing lots of flesh - maybe too much if there's such a thing.

Found easily as it was partly exposed. Bag ripped so replaced with a spare, otherwise ok. TNLNSL TFTC #399.
Loved the woggle - probably called something different nowadays as it's more than 25 years since my girl guide days! TFTC
We were down in Sydney for the weekend to watch the finals of the Medibank International tennis, so decided to do some caching as well. This was a nice quick drive-by. Marco was out of the car and had found the cache by the time I could get the GPS to lock in! Dropped off the Lord of the Caches GC and signed the log. TFTC
Liked the name for both it's position and road name!!
Nice close drive by, if well covered.

My first find in NSW and my eastern most cache. I have been involved in scouting for about 45 years and held many positions from ACSL to BCCS. I still enjoy it but now I have wound down my involvement to the groups fellowship and helping on the group committee. I saw this cache was nearby and had to get to it. Nice easy find. left a couple of WA Cub Scout badges. took TB
TFTC and good hunting.

Nice little cache MillFinders
Well on my way to do some shopping at the local Westfields I thought I'd drop in and visit this little cache. As I pulled in, there was a removalist truck at one of the houses and some muggles doing some work there .. I parked behind said truck and made my way up to GZ, after a minute of searching, I turned around and .. yep there it was .. hung around the area for a bit as I felt as though I was being watched .. thought nahh to heck with it and went ahead back to the "hiding spot" of the cache removed part of the camo so that it remained hidden, the lid next and dropped in my badge (a green circle badge with the Scout emblem on it - yes I too am a former Scout) signed the log, and crammed everything carefully back into the tin and camo'd it up exactly the way I found it and brought in a bit more to see if it could be of any benefit in hiding it .. (my aim is to hide it exactly the way it was left - if not better)

Went back to visit friend's geocache. Bit tricky this time. Kumon was in full action in the Scout Hall, and a muggle friend of geokid on her way to tennis (another twin) came up to see what we were doing digging around in the dirt. Quick save and the secret spot is still safe! Swapped a Geocoin for a Travelbug.
Although the find was planned, I had forgotten to bring any scout related swaps, so swapped TB's instead.
I nice easy find - I parked the car, got out, and the GPS said 8M to GZ - great!
