Logs
Just happened to look in the right place.30 seconds and it was found. Thanks for the new log. Old log was ruined
A quick visit to the welcome sign today with Olltill. The logbook was pretty soggy but managed to scrawl signatures. Thanks
Easy find, Tftc. inside of the container is wet along with the original log book and pencil. There is a replacement log but I suggest taking your own pen.
Tricky to get to with the road works - so parked up a bit away and trekked up- cache very , very wet- have replaced log in new plastic bag. TFTC
While finding this cache I was reaching under a rock and accidentally disturbed a nest of hornets and I managed to get away quick before I was stung. TFTC
Driving from Rotorua to Hamilton today, we passed this one. Tim parked nearby and Viv ran up the hill to find it.TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Am in need of some walking time to prepare for an upcoming tramp around Stewart Island. Was suggested to attempt the Mt Williamson walk just after the Bombay Hills. This walk would be a good starter and as there were several caches on the walk it all made sense. So headed out with Mr HeMaLuDy for an attempt. Having completed this relatively easily and with most of the afternoon free we decided to attempt a few more caches. Eventually ending up as far south as Morrinsville... Mad cachers... NAH!Took a few minutes to locate cache. Log book was wet but managed to sign it.TFTC
Was glad to have a driver as there is no parking near gz. A quick stop on our way into Morrinsville and we were back heading into town. TFTC
Visiting from Ohio, USA and came out this way for the Hobbiton tour. After that I headed slowly back to Auckland for some more caches, of which this was one. The hardest part was parking. The cache itself was a quick find.
Driving back through this way this afternoon and have been past this sign a couple of times recently. Given the lack of safe parking near the GZ, I parked a few hundred meters further along and walked back, before making a quick find here, TFTC
It's a sign alright. Missed initially and had to turn around and come back. Very limited car parking either side of the road.
In the distance dome flashy lights, and that's where they stayed.
Made the walk to gz and was soon signing the log. A little damp, but no problem

Last cache of our day in Morrinsville before heading home. The rain was just starting so we better get on our way
Nice quick find - log book is pretty damp but still signable. Last cache of the day for our Morrinsville Easter adventure. The rain has just started but it was mostly fun in the sun hunting cows!
A mid-week and late night caching with FMZ and fur baby Jäger took us to the nearby lands of Morrinsville. Found a parking spot nearby, and after a short walk and an easy search, this cache was soon found and signed. Thanks for the placement. Mooooo!
Tricky area for parking so parked townside & walked a bit. Checked a few spots & luckily found the right spot. TFTC
We parked at the side of the road and headed up the bank to look for the cache.
We expected it to be an easy find but initially had no luck which was particularly surprising considering it had just been found a few days ago.
We were about to give up and leave but expanded our search area a bit and spotted a blue lid on the ground. Closer inspection revealed the rest of the container and the contents strewn all over the place. Seems a muggle may have discovered it, checked for valuables, and discarded it.
We put it all back together and have placed it in a location consistent with the hint and where it will hopefully be safe.
This was our last find in Morrinsville today after exploring the town and a nice one to end on.
TFTC.

Me and my friend spent about 2/3 hours just trying to walk there all of that effort put in for what took another 30 minutes to find a container the location we put it is on a rock underneath the sign if you find it good luck and sorry we took a plastic Crystal from said box
A slow trip up to Auckland for the Mega next weekend. Stayed with friends in Te Aroha for the night. Stopped in Morrinsville to admire the cows. A quick grab on our way out of town. Thanks for the smiley.
Beautiful drive down from Auckland, stopping in Morrinsville for breakfast and grabbed it. TFTC
But if a tricky turn off but worth it. Again I’m surprised at how few geocaches are in the sweet little village of Morrinsville. Lovely place!
Out filming in Morrinsville on an overcast but pleasant day. Found this as our first for the day. Took trackable. Now on to see the cows. Thanks shelzroo nice hide.
Being new to this we may gave up quicker than we liked as we felt strange hunting around the sign whilst cars driving past... Will go back and try again soon.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Great day out adventuring in the Waikato. After finding a park and walking up to where it should be, getting tooted at on the way, quickly had it found and signed. Thanks!
#967 - Mission over to Waikato for a day out, collecting a few caches along the way.
Ha such an interesting spot for a cache. Pretended to get a few pics of the sign while we found it pretty quick. Tftc

Very easy find after expanding my search area. Dont follow the coordinates as they will lead you to some shrubs but use your common sense and the clue! TFTC
My first find! Much harder than i expected but would have helped if i read the hint!
This is my first Morrinsville cache... great welcome sign and wasn't too hard to spot the cache TFTC
The GPS in my phone had me looking in the wrong area.
(Surprising, because at the GZ I had a clear view of the sky with no trees or buildings to interfere with the signal.)

After a concert we were supposed to attend this weekend was cancelled we decided to still go away and tackle the NZ Icon & Kiwi art project series with a few in between, with my muggle husband driving me he did well by getting me to 135 caches so far today with only a handful of DNF’s so am happy with that. Thanks to the CO for placing, they were fun to solve and took up many nights over the winter.
Sorry for the cut and paste logs, I’ll add any info worth reporting or FP’s at the bottom here..TFTC

Took a bit of searching...Was worried when I saw all the freshly laid bark....But I found it !!!!!
Having grabbed the virtual, I had to pick this one up on the way out of town. Last time I came here, it was significantly overgrown and I got stung on my toe on the way in so I was a bit distracted. Today, I was a little concerned as the garden has been totally cut back so I wasn't sure the cache was still going to be here. Checked the logs and it seems to be okay. Gloves on and, a quick stretch later, the cache was quickly in hand. Morrinsville is now clear - until the next time... TFTC.
Lots of traffic. Be careful of kids. Water logged and we found a wee visitor keeping out of the rain
It took a while but until we walked 6 feet away from the sign then we found it under a rock
Well we started off our Christmas holidays with the family in the beautiful area of Danniverke lower North Island area for a week then it was time to head North a bit more and we travelled through Napier then across the the Napier Taupo road and then further on towards the Hamilton region to get some more of the Kiwi Puzzles and Ensigns Puzzles as the last time we visited here we just got puzzles and traditional caches as we were passing by on our way to do the Eyes Puzzles. We did them with a few other geocachers. But today is the day to try and grab all the other Puzzle cachers in the area to complete some more geoart. The Geoart has been amazing thank you for placing a puzzle out here and making geocaching a challenge and enjoyable sport and the stunning area views of the countryside is lovely, so worth a drive around. We got up to have a simi early start getting the first cache at 8.20am, got this traditional cache at 11.13am, now onto the next Puzzle cache. TFTC log signed and placed back exactly where we found it. cache number 21 for the day.
It took a few minutes but we found the cache very well hidden away. lots of traffic today. no muggles saw us I would think they all had a private mission the speed they were all travelling at.

Out caching today to get the odd traditional and puzzle in the area with family. I'm new to geocaching, it seems to get me out and about and see many new places and meet some new people. Thank you for all the great caches. Thank you for placing caches out here for all to enjoy. It takes alot of time and planning to put caches out. TFTC signed the log and placed it back exactly where we found it. no muggles around nice and quiet in the area and great farm land, didn't take too long but longer than I expected. signed the log and placed it back where we found it for the next geocacher to find.
Took a lot of searching to locate the cache but it was found.
Logbook very wet but managed to sign.
Replaced as found

Not sure if it was overgrown or near the busy road but we were unable to locate
I was over at Waihou having an icecream, having just cached out Morrinsville, and pulled out my phone for I don't know what reason. Hey - there's another cache in Morrinsville! Recheck the GPS - nope. Check the phone - yup. After a couple of minutes dithering I decided I had no choice. If I didn't go back and get it it would be an aweful green stain in my sea of yellow. So that's all the way back to the other side of Morrinsville, and all the way back here again.
The cache here took a while to find - it's nine metres out, not at the telecom marker.
Back on the road again to finish the NZ Icons series that I started yesterday. The aim is to collect a bunch of puzzle caches so as to qualify for the Pluto Planetary Pursuit. Of the 500 points needed I will end up with about 2000, so I will be long past Pluto and Eris, and possibly somewhere in the Oort Cloud. That should qualify!
Happy Easter!

Have driven past here so many times & always been in a rush somewhere else. Car was in for a service nearby so the opportunity presented itself for a bit of a walk to get this one. Worked around the area a bit until I was able to zero in on a possible location & came up with the goods. Bag for log is ripped but I didn’t have any spares on me to replace. Log is damp but still able to be written on. TNLN. SL. TFTC!
NZPatoto and I had organised to do geocaching today. It's been a while since our last outing. I decided to drive that way - if raining I could send NZPatoto to sign the log. We did not let the weather deter us even though at times it was really wet. We managed to get 9 done without getting wet. 7 of 9 Found by me as NZPatoto had already completed this one. She had given me an extra clue. I still had to take a good look. Not a good idea to do this in the rain as you can come out looking like a shrub as the leaves stick to your wet jacket. I finally found it and as I was backing out of the shrub there was NZPatoto standing there, Scared the crap out of me. She came to help as I was taking so long. Warning: plants have grown a lot so you need to get in there and have a good look. The road is really busy. Was amazed at the number of cars that went past. TFTC
Heading out of Morrinsville I decided to get this one. After a small search the container was located. All in order. TFTC
On an all night (and following day) caching bender with harisree and Gorby to clear out the Eyes puzzles currently released, along with the Kiwi art series and any other caches that we drift along past. Who knows where we will get to or when we will get home. but that's the fun of it, right... TFTC!!!
Out and about caching today with FMZ and harisree. We came down from Auckland leaving after FMZ’s midnight Pirate event, cached all morning so far with no sleep. It’s all about numbers today for each of us, all the caches today are park n’ grabs including all the mystery caches we’ve done. It's a gorgeous day, warm too.
Hubby and I set off for a 3 day trip in our motorhome. We headed for a place called Wharekawa on the Firth of Thames to stay a couple of nights. We were a bit concern as there had been lots of flooding and slips but we were lucky. I had sorted 19 geocaches to find on our journey. 10 on the way up, 3 while we were there and 6 on the way home. I have another 19 smiley faces. This was hard to find a park so hubby stopped in a driveway and I raced off to find the cache. Found quick enough. I was sitting amongst the shrubbery when I heard a bull's roar. I hesitated, looked up and it was across the road. Whew. It was a jersey bull and those guys chase you. After putting cache away, he watched me all the way back to the motorhome. I was running. I didn't think the fence was too strong. TFTC. Now home to my animals.
