Looking for a decent walk this afternoon and we elected to walk from Milton to West End / South Brisbane. On the way i thought that i would give this cache a try. We negotiated our way to the bridge walkway and at gz had a quick look around. Initially couldn't spy anything. Just as we decided to keep moving, i did spy the container, but it was muggle central so we decided to pick up on the way back. Had a good walk around admiring the artwork, but also noticing the many tents that have been set up along the shoreline. On the return we had the bridge to ourselves. At gz, i was able to reach around at the base of the fencepost to retrieve the container. all is good with the log sheet, which hasn't been signed in over 4 years. I also left a new [Trackable Code](https://coord.info/TBA4HVE "Grave Robber") for any future finders of this cache. Thanks for creating this cache for the community culture50. Cheers

I am well aware that this cache has been temporarily disabled but i needed to stop before my unfit self fell in a heap on the bridge anyway so had nothing to lose. I can however confirm that this cache is definitely still there. Plenty of room left on the paper inside so I added my name below that little picture. Thanks to the CO for placing & maintaining this cache.
Cheers.

Hi culture50,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

Not found today. Judging from previous activity it might be another lost in action, sadly.
Had a pretty decent look this evening whilst bridge was muggle free. No luck sadly
I'm sorry to say that I couldn't find this today. I spent a long time looking but found nothing. At least it was lovely and breezy up there.
TFTC! Help definitely is close by. Amazing how this is hidden so well when so many people use this bridge. Very pretty on my evening walk!
Yay! Nice to find after disappointing end to earlier search for Mysterious Door cache.
Glad to have found this one. Thought I was looking for a nano. Thanks for the help from previous posts
It was peaceful to search this late in the evening. This is rather micro than nano. Great views to the river. Tftc
Brisbane by night, which does not hake a difference for finding this cache. TFTC!
Even with the help from previous logs I couldn't find it. I'll try again another day
Unsuccessful first attempt but found on our way back across the bridge thanks to fuelling up with pizza and checking the previous logs. TFTC
Continuing a walking adventure with my muggle friend. We knew (or thought we knew) the general are to look from information in previous notes, however apparently had cache blinkers on and looked at it multiple times before actually seeing it.....

During my three weeks in Australia I got plenty of time to spend for my favorite hobby. There are some geocaches, which could be grabbed easily, but most of them are like all typical city caches - you have to be patient and wait for the muggles to disappear. Somehow I managed to find them.
Many thanks to all the owners for hiding and maintenance of their containers.

On that day, I tried the bike hire system in Brisbane. It was fun to visit all the caches by bike.

After a day caching in the city I decided to make one last stop at the Go Between bridge. I found my way on to the river walk which I have never used since moving to Brisbane at the turn of the century. After reaching the appropriate spot I whipped out the phone to determine ‘south’ & was quickly rewarded for my efforts. Now to head home to put up the weary feet. TFTC

This took me 10 minutes of solid searching to find. If I wasn't so determined to find my 250th cache in Australia today, then honestly I wouldn't have bothered.
The cache is 3 strides south from the help phone. You'll need to lean over the railing to spot it. TFTC.

Happily, the camo paint-work has weathered a little. Otherwise, this would have been a lot harder to find.

Tftc, my little Brisbane souvenir. We did a bit of maintainance and added a new log sheet. Not at exact coordinates.

In Brisbane for work for the day. I flew up last night so that I would have time for an early morning caching walk before the days meetings. I wandered up the north bank completing a multi, then crossed over the river, passed this cache (soon found after reading previous logs) and then back down the south bank to grab some more caches before crossing back across the river again. A beautiful morning for a walk. TFTC.

Not that difficult, you need to look a tad further from the hint. Larger than a nano I believe. The log is in poor condition. Thank you for the cache.
Penguinphloppers from California in town for 2 week vacation between here, Sydney, and Cairns (Barrier Reef). This was our first day in Brisbane. The wife and I visited here in 1995, and it sure has changed a lot. I don't recall nearly as many tall buildings. We walked from lunch to the hotel (about 70 minutes) all along the river here, and then a bit downtown (including the museum at the clock tower). Failed on this one despite giving it a good 7-8 minutes with three sets of eyes. Probably still there, just not where we were expecting it.
Girlfriend was in Town, because her mum, wasn't well, got a couple of cache while in the area tftc.
Don't feel left out, it's just a few metres away. Log is a bit ratty but dry ATM with lots of room left. TFTC
The manager of this cache needs to check up on it coz it anus there. Muggles everywhere which made me look so suss like I was trying to find drugs, did find a lighter tho so horraaayyyy for me.. I can light a candle in rememberence if this frustrating DNF when I get home.
Tricky little hiding spot, took some time to find. Paper was trashed, needs new log. Visited with a trackable. TFTC.

Great fun scootering around looking for geocaches. We took a short while to find but we did find it in the end, thanks for hiding!
Out for a ride this morning. When riding I am always on the other side of this bridge, so this cache has eluded me.
On the return journey today, I decided to walk my bike over the bridge and grab this cache. The hint helped narrow the search area down somewhat, but having searched as per the hint and finding nothing, I expanded my search slightly SE and soon enough had the container in hand.
Logbook is all torn and in poor shape but surprisingly dry. Managed to sign my name before returning all as found and heading off for a bit of urban caching in South Brisbane and West End.
Thanks culture50

second attempt - even with the new photos uploaded by fellow gc-ers this one was still a dnf there's only so many places one can look???
Wednesday. Today was a rather special day, so we were celebrating by staying overnight in the City and collecting some caches in the area. After looking everywhere and PAFing a previous finder, we came up empty handed with this one. I came away with the dirtiest fingers here as I poked and prodded everywhere. We knew what we were looking for, but it wasn’t for us today
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.
Thanks ***culture50***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!

Made my third (still unsuccessful) attempt to recover this one. And I wouldn't have logged it but for the fact that I was sure I was accompanied by another Geocacher when someone who crossed the lights at the same time hung back part way across the bridge to look at their phone for an extended period. I took a gambit when I crossed their path on the way back and asked if they were a Geocacher, but was a bit disappointed that I didn't have the help needed when they responded in the negative. Oh well.
even after identifying the appearance of the container from photos posted by previous gc-ers, it still could not be found! will try again next time
The DNF is probably more me than the cache, I couldn't find the Victoria bridge one a few weeks back either.
I did get quite an opportunity to look and feel around but for some reason this one eluded me. But I'll be back next time I actually get a lunch break.
And despite not really being much of an area for for traffic other than a few runners, the view definitely got me a peak Brisbane photo with a train and a CityCat!

Went there at night and even then there were muggles coming and going all the time. Putting it back took a little patience. TFTC
Back in Down Under for the next edition of SuCos Great Australian Roadtrip!
Heading from Sydney to Brisbane in a HippieCamper, what a great fun...
Having returned our camper, we have two more days to explore Brisbane. This is our last day, which we again used for sighseeing and caching in beautifull but hot weather. A lovely city, we hope to come back one day to see even more places.
Finding the path to this bridge with all the motorways was almost more challenging then finding the cache itself... TFTC

Fantastic spot for a cache. Took a bit of feeling around before finding this cache then enjoyed the view. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Very sneaky. Thought its be somewhere near the phone? Nevertheless, we found it. Good hide.
Nice hide, I usually cycle to and from work so I'm on the other side of the bridge, but Brisfest is a great time to walk.
Found with the help of 2 lovely ladies who have found it before.

Whilst visiting Brisbane, I decided to go for a run around South Bank and the Toowong bike track area. Some nice weather in amongst the Brisbane Festival taking place.
From reading some of the description, I knew exactly the landmark to where this cache would be hidden. Had an initial look around and couldn’t find anything. Kept looking, and eventually found the pesky nano cache. I do see that there is a description comment noting the change in cache size.
Argh nanos! Their frustration lies in the search, and even then when found, the difficulty in logging and rolling. Best characterised as that annoying friend that hangs with your bestie!

Easy find. On holiday from Dunedin NZ. Thanks Australia for having so many to choose from
My first cache in Brisbane, while I am visiting the city. Thanks for the easy start!
Out for a stroll and grabbed this one. Good straight forward find. Didn't have a pen or pencil to sign the paper log .

Got a bit off track with a red herring but was able to eventually locate with the help of the hint. TFTC
Stortigirls and I met up after I finished work and headed out to find a few caches. This was the first cache of the late afternoon. I found a parking spot not too far away and we took a lovely stroll to GZ. Once there, the cache was quickly located, thanks to the hint, and the log signed. TFTC
I was out with Selva Girls for an after work caching meet up this afternoon, trying to grab a few smilies before dark. We found parking as close as we could to this one, and joined the afternoon walkers in the area. The container was found quickly with the help of the hint, and returned without attracting attention. Tftc culture50
Took us a very long time to get but eventually got it thanks to some pictures and help from other posts
Wow, finally I'm in Australia!! I have been dreaming of going there for more than 10 years!!! Of course I have to do some geocaching while I'm here. Today I was going to explore Brisbane by walking from cache to cache and this was one of the caches I logged today. I had to wait for quite a while, even though the weather was not that good, a lot of people had decided to take a walk or go for a run. But eventually there were no muggles around, making it possible for me to log the cache.

One of my first finds from a couple of years ago, and a cache that I walk past at least once a week. Never bothered to stop and write in the log book though! Thought I would make amends on a quiet weekday in winter. Thanks for the cache, culture50.
