HUGE HUGE (and I mean HUGE) Eastern Brown Snake hiding in the rocks down there. That was enough for us to high tail it right out of there: be super careful!
I was on my way to the Goat Track today and after finishing a nearby multi I drove right by this cache so I thought I would stop and have a look for it. It was fun hoping down the rocks and then a pretty quick cache find. The new logbook is still in good condition and all is good with the cache container here. Thanks aandm for this cleverly chosen hiding place and for another great Catweazle cache!
Heading home from a late night first to find hunt and I stopped here to grab this cache. Rock hopped to gz and made a quick find. Clue noted. TFTC
Out to complete the Catweazle series today, this was the first on my journey. I was fairly certain where the hide would be and it was quickly spotted. A bit of imitating a clumsy mountain goat the log was signed and clue noted. Onto the next one. TFTC
Good spot I looked at it twice before finally checking it lol, thanks for the cache. Found 01/07/23 4:10pm
4:00pm found it with DL197 I’m not very good at rock climbing in my Chinese hiking boots but I didn’t each rocks so it was a successful find we went past it once walked around to the other side of the bridge and had a laugh that we went straight past it. Great hide TFTC we are on our way home from Samford Valley.

After attending the event on burke reserve this morning have joined with RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda Snickersallan and Echocage1 for a few caches before heading home.
At gz searched around but not having any luck until Snickersallan checked one spot and found the cache.
Log signed cache returned.

After our big walk and heading back to the car park, we stopped by to sign this one.
This area certainly has changed.

After a morning adventure in Brian Burke Reserve, we pulled over here to look for this one that has been on our to-do list for quite some time.
Great hiding spot that blends in so well.
Thank you, aandm, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

aandm I found your cache Catweazle (11) - The Sign of the Water Carrier on 19/5/2023, 10:25 am. This is my find 5322 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After the hiking event, Duppers and I decided to find another in this series which was nearby. Quick find and information noted. Tftc
Found with Kolour after a hike to the top of Brian Burke Reserve. Quick and easy find. Ticked off another Catweazle Cache. One day I’ll complete the series! TFTC
Cheeky little hide, I went the wrong way at first. Bit a little thinking about the clue and I was onto it….

Cache now back in action, re-read the description as the container and location have changed.
Good news!
Bridge is done
Found a new hiding spot....but container won't fit! Back home to make a new one - should be back up this weekend

Checked yesterday and the bridge is almost done, as soon as the barriers are removed the cache will be replaced.
Visited today to check progress of the bridge that has prevented re-hiding of this cache. Workers were on site and it seems close to completion. Will check again in a couple of weeks
Checked today, and the bridge under construction that is blocking the cache return seems to be getting close to completion. (see image)
Will check again in the new year and re-enable when the bridge is done.

Update on the cache,
Visited again after discussing a move with reviewer.
The options for the move are not suitable - there is now a digger and a big pile of dirt there!
The good news is that the bridge appears to be a foot bridge, and the span is now complete so it may not be too long before the bridge is done and the cache can be replaced close to the original location.
I will keep checking every couple of weeks and advise.

Checked on this today. I had checked twice previously and the works were still going and I was certain I posted a note but it is not there so I may have messed that up.
In any case they are building a bridge here (see photo) it has closed off both sides of the road and both sides of the bridge. There is no possibility of replacing the cache here at this time. I expect that when the bridge is done there will be possible hiding areas but this may be a long (several months) time.
I will leave this disabled for now - and will see what options there are for a reviewer assisted move to a nearby location as I would like to keep the cache and it's logs intact rather than archive and re-create.
I will advise. If you have found all the others you can work out the coordinates for #13 by elimination or send a note and I will give you the clue for this one.

At last check in the roadworks were still in place. New cache is ready. Will check again this weekend when I replace Catweazle 13 nearby.
An update on this cache.
Significant road works and bridge works are in progress .
All the trees from the area have been removed as well.
I will check again in a week or so. It may be necessary to completely relocate the cache, but I would prefer it to stay here once the works are finished.
If you have found the other 12 signs you can get the clue by elimination or message me for it.
A from AandM

Received word that roadworks have affected/destroyed the cache. Will check and replace shortly
I'm glad this one isn't as close to the main road as I thought, where it's not safe for little kids. Once you find the right the right spot, it's an easy find
Fantastic day with Team Domsky and smallwombat collecting caches in this lovely part of the world. After a sumptuous lunch we headed north to find some more and it looked like we are able to collect most of this series today.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here aandm. Clue noted.

There was a car pulled up at the memorial near gz when we arrived.
Not that that stopped us from using our bodies to cover just what we were doing near that guard rail.
Clue noted and back in the geovehicles.
Thank you aandm for another in the catweazle series!

We were able to pull over close to GZ and park our car to make a quick find here.
We had a great day out as our party of four, searching and finding Geocachesin this area.
For this one, we collected some information which we hope will be of use for when we have manage to find the entire series.
Thanks aandm

Everytime I’ve driven past here there has been a muggle or two parked at GZ… so today without a plan to stop here I took advantage of an empty car park to stop and make the quick find…

TFTC, quick find after bombing out on the SAMFORD Avenue multi. 5 year old was happy!
This evening, and seeing a few new geocaches published, I decided to head towards Yugar as another excuse to visit that area. During my drive, I did notice that my target cache had already been visited, but nevertheless, I thought I would continue my drive and explore the area with a few more finds. A variety of park and grabs, and night walks, and once my stomach started to grumble for dinner, I decided to return home for the evening.
I followed the nearby side street, of which there was plenty of parking opportunities next to this nearby interesting memorial. From there, the cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. I also collected the bonus clue from this geocache, although I am not sure if this series bonus is still alive? Thanks aandm for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This was our first stop in a series of caches found during an afternoon drive to Dayboro. It was a fairly quick find after pulling off the main road and casually getting ourselves together once parked safely. All is well with this cache.

Out on Australia Day aiming to catch the Catweazle. Found with NutCacheBNE. Tyftc series. Leaving our marbles behind.
After a day of cleaning, we popped out to get our first cash of 2021.

Finding this was a bit of a problem as I was looking at the hint and just to put my mind at rest i thought I would look in another area and soon came up with the goods. Log signed and all replaced as found. TFTC
Fun Sunday afternoon cache! Log is mildly damp, but otherwise in good condition. Signed, returned and hidden.

Last cache for the day after our epic adventure out to Wivenhoe Dam. I wanted to grab this one last week when we were here, but after the mood we were in we decided to just go home, so since we're driving right past here we decided to quickly stop off to have a look. The cache was quickly uncovered, scribbled my name in the log and replaced as found. We're done for the day, we're tired, exhausted and could sleep for days. All good at GZ.

Found it. Mrs EMC was still trying to sort out her GPS and was loading up co-ords when Pa Kettle suddenly announces to her that he had found it. Cheeky granddad. A nice quick find in the end. TFTC.
A Sunday drive to Dayboro and then a few caches on my home.
Good parking here and then a quick find
Than you aandm for hiding this cache here

Fifth cache of quite an epic day out caching with PPrime, socially distant of course. Covered 25,000 steps and a few hours of sunshine, exercise and good company.
The hint no longer seems appropriate at GZ, but it is there, behind quite an obvious geocache hiding device that rhymes with sock.
Thanks for placing this cache, luring me to such a beautiful spot! Cache and log are in great condition. TB visit while I am here. A quick sign of the log, cache and log returned, and back to the geomobile for more exercise.
