Had a really good poke around without any luck.
DevilDog3 - SVKR_WA had to DNF your cache DD3 - 13 The Gorge on 20/4/17, 08:19. I searched but didn't find the cache

Add two more DNFs to the list. We hunted wide but found nothing.
I fear it is gone as this area has been used as a toilet stop as well.
SVKR_WA and I are heading home to Perth after a great few days in Alice Springs for the red centre event. This is the last day and we left Norseman about 6.30am to try and get as many kilometres behind us as possible.
I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.
Perths big event is on again.
**See you there**.

As I happened to be passing back this way, I thought I'd have another try at this one which I failed to find back in February, but unfortunately it is still eluding me. Some of the photo's are a bit confusing, one shows an ammo box, but the description is "small". I can't see how I could miss an ammo box. The most disappointing thing, is that the ideal location, the rocks blocking the bottom of the hollow tree, would be a superb place for the cache, but DD3 is obviously a lot more cunning than that! . I crawled through every bush I could find (and some of them were prickly) but all to no avail. Unless the coordinates are off by more than 10 metres, I have to admit defeat for this one.
Had a good look around, well, not TOO good on a pretty miserable, cold, wet Sunday, but I am pretty sure the cache has gone.. I have stopped here a couple of times in the past and never seen the gorge full of water as it was today.
Found it, did some maintenance while here too. Was here just 3 weeks ago and the Gorge was bone dry, today its full
Found and logged, had been here a few weeks earlier and the gorge was bone dry. After all this rain expected to see some water but its almost full.
Cache is definitely here people
Cache is definitely here people
Stopped there for lunch but no water, very hot with plenty of flies. No luck with the cache either.
Out and about doing the tourist thing in the Goldfields and added a smiley here TFTC
TFTC! Great find first find of the day, introducing a muggle and 2 mugglekins to geocaching!
This was our favorite find yet! Great container, great prizes for the Geo Kids. Thank you
Cool winters day, southerly blowing, should be working but what the heck. Great day for an ammunition find
Not much water in The Gorge today
Diving off the end of the jetty would have hurt
So I poked around for a cache intstead.
And found a really large cache [^]
Great container ...
... which I am very surprised has remained hidden from the muggles for so long [:o]

Day sixteen of my across the Nullarbor, then to Perth via Denmark trip. Unfortunately this marked the time to return home day, thanks Western Australia, it has been a blast, but all good things must come to an end. I now had seven days to get back home.
My favourite cache container. It was a pity it was dark, nothing to see.
**Thanks to DevilDog3 for the cache. TNLN**

TFTC! Found during a 6-Day trip from Perth to Kalgoorlie, Esperance and back to Perth via many back roads and country towns. We found a huge number of caches, clocking up nearly 3000km for the entire trip.
The highlights of the trip have been picking up a bunch of old caches in Kalgoorlie and the surrounding towns, placed by some of Western Australia's first geocachers.
We ventured as far north as Leonora in search of our prizes even visiting a large number of ghost towns along the golden outback trail, some of the most amazing places I've seen in my life, see the pics if you want to know more.
During our trips out from Kal we think we visited nearly every gravesite or headstone in the region with the number of caches in and around cemeteries!
We completed a large amount of cache maintenance around the Kal area, with a large number of the older caches suffering with cracked lids, smashed containers, wet logs and alike. We planned to help about a dozen caches with new containers and ran out after the first couple of days. So if you're in the area please help out as best you can.
We also picked up a number of caches in Esperance placed by some of the newest cachers in the state, who seem to have so much passion and energy.
We ventured out to Cape Le Grande and picked up a few of the caches there, not quite being game enough to grab the views of hellfire cache but we grabbed all of the others we paid for our walking that night!
We even had time to place a couple of caches in my Country Cache series so please look out for them on your travels. Thanks to the locals who have kindly agreed to maintain them.
Thanks to all of the Cache owners for placing the caches that we found, hopefully you can place a few more for our next trip
Thanks

Great cache, great location, this is what geocaching is about!
Went on a trip from Perth to Kalgoorlie down to Esperance and then back to Perth. Spent 6 days finding, hiding and even maintaining caches along the way.
The majority of caches were found easily and in good condition even some archived ones.
Took a few travel bugs and placed along the way.

West Australia 2016 trip. Day 6. My last day on the westward crossing of the Eyre Highway. I spent the night in a hotel room as it rained heavily all night. After reaching Norseman I headed North to stay just outside of Kalgoolie at Lake Douglas.
Thanks.

Day sixty four of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
On the road again, but homeward bound - Kalgoorlie to Balladonia with stops in Coolgardie and Norseman to play tourist.
Looks like the dam wall has been breached and most of the water escaped. The signs said no motorboats, and we were staring at a small puddle down the hill wondering how and why you would want to
A great sized cache here (particularly for a small!).
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8326. Today we are continuing our journey eastwards through Coolgardie and Norseman finishing at Balladonia for the night. We plan to stop for a few caches along the way to break up the journey.
I think this place has taken a turn for the worse since the cache was placed almost 5 years ago. Not much water and certainly no speed boats today. The landing is almost falling apart. All very sad. This is the biggest small container we have come across. Could be classed as a regular. One TB listed here has been missing for years but I took the Caboose TB to move it along.
Thanks DevilDog3

My girlfriend had to pick up a food van trailer from Arana Hills in Queensland. 8 day road trip from Perth-Brisbane-Perth and it is a great opportunity to pick a few geo cache on the way there and back. We had a great trip and most caches were easily found...TFTC
Anotjer treasure found! Thanks DevilDog3 for bringing us in off the highway. Travelling west and really look forward to these geobreaks. Found quickly SLTNL a cd for the next finder.. This is a lovely place and water looks nice on a hot day. (Shame you can't swim here though)
8:37:00 AM. Heading south to Esperance for cooler weather. Learnt our lesson and will be back at a more suitable time. Missed the turn for this one and had to pull a uturn with the caravan and come back. Water was pretty low in the old mine. Looked where the GPS was pointing and it wasn't pretty. Walked around and found a clear way in. Found and signed and returned. Thanks DevilDog3 for placing this cache.
I was looking for something a lot smaller and trickier than this so I was surprised to find such a large container
just lying under the tree. Signed the log and covered it up better.

I found it. I left my mark. I replaced it and I left. TFTC there was no TB in there
Thanks for the hide. First cache after our trip to stuck in the mud with a flat battery. This is our last before lunch at the cafe in town. After finding the cache and hiding it with a few more rocks we explored the old abandoned processing plant.
This was our second find of nine cache for our Coolgardie cache run. Found a little too easy and decided to give little more cover by added some more rocks.
I've met up with Triciac2 in Perth, because we are taking a 3 week driving tour to Adelaide We've had a couple of fun days caching in the company of her son Brother Colin, but he has now headed back to Brisbane, and we have begun our drive east. We have travelled from Perth via Brookton, Corrigin, Hyden, Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun, Esperance, and today we are travelling north to Kalgoorlie
A quick find here. TFTC, DevilDog3.

On my Round Aussie Trek, with IolantheK travelling with me from Perth to Adelaide, we found your cache, clever hide. TFTC
Staying in Kalgoorlie for another few days, and my muggle partner told me she was catching up with the girls today, so that was enough for me to grab as many caches as I could. I headed to Karlkurla bushland first and then headed out to Coolgardie and managed to clear the area. I pulled up just nearby and left the car running while I jumped out and made the find here. Not a lot of swag in the container, though it is always good to find an ammo can. TFTC DevilDog3
Day 8 of our whyalla trip
We stayed the night at Mundrabilla and made an early start for the last half of the drive back to perth. we had picked up most of the caches on the way over but kept a few for on the way home to break up the journey. most caches were found quickly with 1 DNF. TFTC

We left the city very early this morning and this was the next cache that I was to do.
A quick find here also.

Day 1 of our trip over to the Oz Mega event in Murray Bridge. Left Perth in the wee hours of the morning and drove just about non stop to Southern Cross, then cached along the way to here for this one. Quick find here of a larger than expected cache. Thanks for showing us this spot DevilDog3
Stopped in on the long drive over to the Oz Mega 2014 Event in Murray Bridge SA to dip some trackables. Thanks for bringing me here DevilDog3

Passing through Coolgardie and took a break to grab a couple a couple of caches. We have stopped at this spot a couple of times before and it has not always had water in it. but it was looking good today. The cache seems to have grown since it was put here. It was a lot bigger than I expected.

Last of your caches for this trip we think. Will be stopped over in Karalee Rocks then heading back to Perth.
Your cache unfortunately had been muggled. The cache was there, but completely empty.
So we left a new log in the cache. Hope it continues to survive.
Thanks for all the wonderful caches DevilDog3

Just showing the boss what a geocache is and was frustrated to find someone had trashed the cache. The log was missing, but ammo can still there. Sorry, I didn't have my cache toolkit to stock it back up. Could possibly benefit from being put in a more remote spot that people aren't using as a toilet. Covered cache up and left in the same spot.
Quick find on our way west. Lovely place to stretch the legs thank you for bring us here. SL TFTC
[:(!] Went for a long weekend (WA Day) caching run to Kalgoorlie and back spending two nights camped at Coolgardie, on our second day we spent the day in Kalgoorlie and the surrounding area caching, on our way back to our camping spot at Coolgardie we picked up a couple to finish the day, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
