Very cut cache . . . smaller, but similar to one I found in Nevada. Fave me a bit of a start. A little damp inside, but other than that, cache was in good shape. TFTF!

As guamgirl46 said, it was similar to one in Nevada. Got to watch the same reaction when she opened. Nice cache. TFTC!

Attempted to find this a year ago or so. I just had gotten on the island. My phone's GPS was screwy so I left. A year later after leaving and coming back to the island I stopped by with a friend. GPS got us practically on the spot. Looked around kept thinking it was farther in than it was. Found another cool spot with I thought it was hidden in but no joy. Finally my buddy found it. Cool container!

Second cache for the day. Glad there was a path to help Segn. Can you imagine the surprise in my eye when he said he needed help opening the cache.

Boy! The jungle's grown back up in that "cleared field"!
But if you haven't gotten this one, now's a good time to get it because KK_kk and I made a geo-trail and a half--using a machete to make our way to this one!

Terrain is still only a 2.0--you don't need to go "into" the real tall trees. Don't make it too hard.

Ahh Yes, I see why we need to look for the orange capsule. Fun TFTC

Found with Kingdomseeder. With the exception of the aroma of the dead carcass about 16 feet from the cache this was another very enjoyable (and surprising) find. Let's see - how do I open this container. Oh yeah - read directions.
Woo-hoo!!! TFTC TNLNSL

Yeppers! It's still there, cache and log are in good condition!
This one is a small tubular container that's cammo'ed with cammo!
It's hiding in a small batch of short trees.
Hope someone will come along and visit JACK soon! He's lonely!! Smile

Talen671 and I looked for about a half hour. Our GPS has been spotty lately not sure why or if it's normal in some areas. We looked around where we thought it would be and where the closest point to where GPS led us. No Joy! The sun was setting so maybe we'll try again the next few days.

What an appropriate name for this cache. I was prepared though. It took me about 15 minutes to find as I was searching according to the hint. I finally found it, but although it is not completely hidden, it blends in very well. Thanks for the fun. JIMP59 (GUAM)

OK! J.A.C.K.*'s back!
After some further analyzation of the area, I found a spot that should be bee free!
The only thing to worry about at this GZ, is Guam's native bird--the skeeter!

*****Woohoo, FTF!***** Came after work to see if I can get the first to find to make up for my run in with the bees previously. Did a bit of a search at GZ and finally was able to spot this well camo'd container. Opened it up and surprise! Unrolled the log to see it completely blank...oh yeah! Now I see why you decided to name this cache J.A.C.K.! Definitely Just Another Cache Kids! TFTC-TNLN (Decided to leave the FTF surprise for the next cacher!)

Mrs jimp59 and I actually made an attempt to find this cache. Even though I was armed with my wasp spray, I gave up the hunt as soon as I arrived at GZ. It was dark and I could not see any wasp's nest anywhere. Decided I didn't want a beak like Blygoat....so I'll try later.

Kiwika and I went out for this one again today, this time armed with wasp spray. Got to GZ, no bees in sight and the cache wasn't there. Found the empty nest of the bees though so figured that rhodesisland probably came back, took care of the bees and is in the process of moving the cache.

Kiwika, Curtz311 and I went out on an early cache run to grab this one this morning. Arrived at GZ at about 6:15 am and Kiwika and Curtz311 are lagging behind as they were still a bit sleepy. I followed the Blackberry straight to the cache location and was in the process of retrieving the cache when all of a sudden, I got the surprise of my life. Boonie bees were protecting the cache and proceeded to sting me, two right on my upper lip, four on my leg and one on my hand. The leg and hand I can handle but the lip hurt like heck! Got out of there while Kiwika and Curtz311 looked on. Sure enough, a huge swarm of boonie bees guarded the cache putting an end to our hunt this morning. My lip puffed up to beak size...who needs collagen...just a few strategic stings from boonie bees will do the trick-check out my picture! Will have to come back with some wasp spray to grab this one!

Felt bad for dad getting stung, but we were telling him..."what, couldn't take a few more stings so we could get FTF"...of course while laughing as we were saying it. hahahaha! also telling him he's a REAL Duckhunter now with that beak hahahaha.. all in good fun Smile

06-Jul-10
I'll run out this morning and spray the area or move the cache to a different GZ.
Sorry, blygoat!
