Having read up on the latest happenings here at GZ I vowed to try and resolve, if possible. After a few circuits, where the GZ never got less than 18n metres, I started to look 'under' and spot the recently mentioned cache container. Soon had eyes-on and used a length of wood phwooar, to retrieve the cache. Added a fresh logbook sheet, and rock to secure and replaced at the corner, behind two concrete blocks, GL.A big day of caching beckoned today, and that's just the way I wanted it to be, and why i'd stayed overnight in Upper Hutt after travelling down yesterday arvo. I had designs on taking my (wife's) tiddly Tiida out the back of Carterton/Gladstone and knock over those Nifty Swifty solves and realign into the GeoArt they deserve to be. I had a lot of help with the solves, I'll admit, but collaboration often comes back around again so that's fine. The good thing about hitting a powertrail of Geo-Art 'early' is; the caches are almost certainly still at their original placements (no cache creep), they're in good condition (no ripped baggies, rusted mint-tins, muddy outers) and the early finders might be able to remember to help with a tricky find. As it was there were no anomalies and all of the series were found, along with a couple of random skindo extras near to the new placements (research will sort which ones out). It was just under 80 finds for the day, just under 5 hours from first swifty find to the last one, and plenty of dust on the tiddly Tiida. A good day with sun, rain, light wind and heavy gusts )aka Summer in Palmy!)Thanks to all COs, an advancement on my finds of Wellington region COs caches (not you Tom!)
Cache appears have to been opened and then thrown under the building with no sign of a log. Needs to be reassembled.
Unfortunately, no success here today. Had to be very quiet, due to the gun safety meeting going on in the hall. No sign of cache at GZ, even using the hint.
FapnGap and Squirel Nutcase and I have come away for the long weekend caching. Nice quick find here today cache is in good condition. Thanks for hiding the cache.
had to wait for 2 vehicles to leave before looking for this cache in the dark.
i went 1 way, Bruce & Hemi the other. they got to cache first.
but there is something very dead here.
quick sign and off.

With (Mr) Davidson Clan and Gap (of Fap and Gap)… On a boy’s weekend roadtrip south. We’re relocating down the road today. So our base camp shifts to Carterton for the night…
A couple of vehicles parked nearby added to the challenge factor here. Will they move on? It didn’t seem likely. It’s dark! We launched into our search, but our chosen area wasn’t fruitful. We decided to walk a circuit and found a more likely location - Success! Something stinky lurks here. Glad to be moving on… Thanks Skindo and TFTC.

First time I looked I had a time frame so did not find and came back later that day and found it withing seconds. Tyfc. Lots of things in it
Felt a bit awkward as there were people in the hall who watched me arrive and walk around the building. Cache out of view though so I was able to find, sign and return.
Stayed a night in Greytown, stopped on our way home after being to Cape Palliser on this very hot day. Soon had cache in hand, signed log and return as found. Thanks skindo for the cache.
Visiting Masterton for a week of work. Had some spare time to head out and collect some nearby caches. No problems with this one. Thanks Skindo for the smiley.
With the prospect of a nice long weekend available, I decided to spend a day or two over in the Wairarapa chasing archived Skindo puzzle caches and any other caches I would be passing right by including this one.
It was getting late now, and I was racing the setting sun to always find that "just one more" cache lol. This was a nice and straightforward park 'n' grab. The cache was found exactly as per the Hint, although I always feel a bit self conscious when parked up in front of security cameras as was the case here. Encountering no issues with the cache or the contents, I was able to swiftly sign the log before replacing everything exactly as found and heading back to the car.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Our second shot at this, had to leave due to muggles last time. This time nobody about, so quickly found and returned
Away for a couple of days hunting caches with tmann421.
Nice quick find here luckily as the hall was very busy today
log stamped tm/ww NZ

Stopped on the way past to another, with Siri complaining at me all the time to proceed to the route Cheers skindo!
I was out on a cycle, stopped for a drink of water and thought this might ba a place for. Acache, checked the app and what do you know I was 12 metres from it. So, a quick look, found, signed and replaced then on my way.
Cache is in good condition.
Thanks to CO for placing and maintaining.
GLAD to have another smiley.

Today we passed the road next by. So we stopped for a short brake and luckely there was a geocache quite next to our parking.
To find it was quick and easy. All is pretty good.
TFTC says Tango-Addi!

Stopped off on our way past to pick this one up. We saw it hadn’t been found for a while so wondered if it would still be there but we needn’t have worried, we found it tucked away safe and sound. TFTC.
We were staying in Upper Hutt for the week over Easter break and todays main objective was Skindo's numbers run from Hinakura to Gladstone. Now that that is done were heading to Greytown with whatever daylight is left to grab some high favourited caches. We had DNFed this back in Oct 2016 in a rush but can comfirm today we werent even on the correct side of the building. A quick find here tonight. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy.
Day 2 of the Wellington Mega adventure with KJR and we are on our way to find and log a challenge cache series and this was on the way a nice and easy park and grab TFTC
In Wellington for the Mega. Day #2 of our geocaching adventure and off to Martinborough with Gadget169. Found this one on our way back to Upper Hutt after finding most of the challenge caches TFTC
Mainly out and about collecting the 2 series of caches. With help I have managed to get up to level 4 cacjes.
There are the odd trad on my journey as well.
Cheers for the cache.

For a change Mr 3Prettys drove on the caching adventure today while I did the navigating. We started out searching together, but then split to check around the Hall in opposite directions. I was lucky enough to make the find and was signing the log as he rejoined me. We took a Marisa&Kaleb for Miss 3Prettys and left a Rattl rock.
Thank you for the cache, which was in great shape.

Passed this on our way out to Stonehenge Aotearoa, no cyclist this time but on a tricky corner if you have not been here before. TFTC
Time to head back to Wellington now - but first, stopping to collect a cache which escaped me last time, as people were using the hall. Had the place to myself today, for a much appreciated quick find. TFTC!
I took my youngest son up to Wellington in the camper van. I dropped him off at his friend's house where he will stay. Meanwhile I get to geocache and be on standby.
I stayed in Martinburough last night and will slowly head to a walk and back looking for geocaches.
I went grocery shopping at Carterton and thought I'd go back via this way. The heat is unbearable. Thankfully this had good parking.

Thanks. Skindo for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5380 for me.
Went to visit some of my family in the Wairapapa today, and the kids were keen to go for a geocache hunt. Quick find for this cache. *TFTC skindo #242*
Quite a modern looking building that's out of the norm for these halls. Cache was a quick find too, all safe and dry. TFTC
A quick find while heading into Carterton to get more fuel before heading back into skindoland, taking the slow way to Palmerston North.
A quick, easy find thanks to the hint and the cache being visible as I approached. Replaced cache a little more out of sight. TFTC
While visiting in the wiararapa i coveredd this area after visiting schools but the logs are rather late. This was an interesting hall set in the triangle and the cache was very quickly located thanks to very clear hint.. It was a pleasant drive around this area which i had not been through before. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
37th of the day and I had to walk around the whole hall before finding the correct corner. TFTC.
On a trip to Wairarapa today to make a dent in collecting some of the 100 Wairarapa puzzles I've solved over winter. Left home relatively early to collect as many of the puzzles and other cache types that I passed.
Quickly worked out where the cache was and signed log. All nice and dry, although there's a bit of a wiffy smell in the vicinity. TFTC

Wouldn't have expected to have to wait 20 minutes in the middle of nowhere for someone to leave the site. Coordinates seemed a little out, but found with the help of the hint. TFTC.
Quick find on our way to Porongahau. We went off the beaten track to have a look at NZ Stonehenge... We didn't go in TFTC
Sorry for the late log and the copy and paste, headed down to do some caching (while hubby played paintball) knowing the weather was going to be lovely, it was lovely it was really hot, we managed to get a few before heading home again, the sunburn wasn't over the top only forgetting not to put it on late arvo. Thanks for taking the time to place the cache.
Took a little bit of wandering around to get to the right spot then quickly found. Tftc
#294 another day of caching the wairarapa with zz6000 but at a slower pace today.
Went out for a 3hr40min walk today, and ended up with 3 finds. No major incidents, apart from an encounter with a bee swarm which I escaped from unscathed.
This was my second find today, a quick and easy one. The log was all in order, TFTC.

#1489. Every once in a while there is a day of madness. Today was that day. To complete an Auckland based challenge cache (GC3QY6Q), I needed to visit 50 caches in a single calendar day. But I couldn't use any power trails. Each cache had to be at least 1 km apart. So I spent several nights planning out a route around the Wairarapa that would allow me to achieve this target plus enough spares to cover for the DNF's. I managed to get around all 50 caches (only needing to use a torch for the last one) and was home by 10pm. Apologies for this generic log. This was cache No.41 of the day. Another skindo hall on todays adventure. Read the hint and checked several spots before finding the cache. Cache all dry. Left a TB behind I picked up in Cape Town. TFTC
Decided to give this one ago on our journey out to Parkvale Mushrooms. Found this one. Smells like something has curled up and died near by.
KiwiExplorer promissed me there is a Hall and there was a Hall Thanks for this one

Yes there was a hall which was a massive step up compared with the Parkvale cricket ground. Had us laughing as we drove on to the next cache.
Thanks Skindo for the cache.

In Martinborough for the fair and a chance to grab a couple of caches on the way home. Used the hint for this one early as the hall itself is quite exposed from all directions. Turned out to pretty-much be a park and grab before heading in to Carterton. TFTC.
In town for the Wings Over Wairarapa. Went for an early morning gallop around some rural roads; this was my turn around point. The hint made this a quick find. TFTC!
15th of 16 finds in the Wairarapa today. Located this one without any trouble after checking the clue. #620. TFTC.
#1290 Found during a 24 hour caching raid in the Wairarapa with Nic-jay- seeing how many we could find in 24 hours. Took much longer than it should have since we initially searched on the wrong side of the hall! Nic-jay then used her noggin and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Found while on a 24 hour caching adventure with Skaga through parts of the Waiarapa.
Our GPS kidded us into thinking it was on the near side of the hall. I have found a few of your hall hides now so used my head and soon had the cache in hand. I must say that the underside of these wee country halls are all the same - disgustingly filled with rubbish! Maybe CITO event that cleans up under halls could be a good idea. TFTC

Had a good walkaround on this one...gps kept stuffing around a bit..or so I thought...I was actually on the wrong side of the building. Thanks skindo
A day over the Wairarapa and hoping to clock up my 800th cache today.
