We woke today to quite cool and foggy morning so we decided to wait around for things to warm up a bit.It was then we received a phone call from a family member traveling south that they were heading through Stanthorpe and would we like to catch up for a coffee. We never pass up the opportunity to catch up with family so it was on! They suggested we meet at a place in Thulimah, and we duly did. This set the agenda for the day. We decided afterwards to head further north up to Dalveen before working our way back home along the Fruit Run. It was only about halfway through the series we realized that there were fruit stalls all along the route, some open but many obviously no longer operational. We guess a new highway finished many of them!We collected a few other caches along the way as well.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Team Robins.**SKI Pair****
We are not sure why there are a few dnf on this smile . We parked up and walked straight to the hide. Bingo gotcha. The cache is in great condition. Signed clean and replaced cache as found. Tftc
Headed down to Granite Belt, to do my weekly shop at Sams at Cottonvale, so of course had to do a bit of caching to fill in some finds on the map.
All a bit sticky here, but I fought my way in and found a cache. Thanks for the hide Team Robins

This weekend, an overnighter at Girraween National Park was planned with the aim to tackle Mount Norman. An early start on Saturday had me attend Warwick parkrun and visit Warwick, Leslie Dam, Stanthorpe, and then Girraweeen to walk to Underground Creek. On Sunday, it was a walk/hike through Girraween's south vicinity visiting Mount Norman, Castle Rock, and Turtle Rock, before venturing across the NSW border, and then heading northwards via Ballandean and Stanthorpe, detouring past the *Elementary* series and *Stan's Apple* series.
Today, my plan was starting out the day with Warwick parkrun at 07:00 hr, and subsequent geocaching within the Warwick area. I also visited Leslie Dam which was a nice picnic spot, before then detouring back through Warwick for a late breakfast, and continued my onwards journey south along the New England Highway to Stanthorpe. I found a few of the *Snow Flakes* granite geocaches, partially conducted the *Fruit Run*, drove east past Stanthorpe Airport finding some of the *Stan's Apple* geoart, before then visiting Mt Marley and Quart Pot Creek. We then took a late afternoon walk in Girraween National Park to Underground Creek, before establishing our campsite for the night.
I initially ascended upwards to the main titular subject, before looking down at my GPS and then following that to the real GZ. It then wasn't long until the cache revealed itself. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I made sure to note the TB code that was discoverable on the logbook protective bag. Thanks Team Robins for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The name confused me. NOT in the signal box! Perseverance helps - Found it! TFTC!!
We are on our way back home. We went to QOGM 2022 in Charleville first, then decided to go on a camping trip in NSW for a change and visited also Canberra.
Now we stay a couple of days in Stanthorpe.

Spent a lovely weekend on the Granite Belt with Sausage3. While our husbands had a nana nap, we spent the afternoon geocaching, mostly avoiding the rain. Didn’t take long to find but took the easier way out. Tftc
Tftc Team Robins,
Warming up now the sun is out, very cool again this morning.
Made the find here.

Apothecary Walk is a river walk on the Ankh side of the river, extending Phedre Road rimward to Prouts and the Misbegot Bridge. It runs along the full length of the Apothecary Gardens on the river side.
There's not many parking opportunities here but we managed to find a spot and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
After finishing the apple I took this route to pick up a few more caches before heading back home. Spotted the signal then turned around and spotted the cache. Tftc
Found easy, with muggles drive by looking at me all weird n suspicious. Love it lol! Keeps them on their toes....

Found while on a weekend mission with Chamad, Willis007 and Nayfee. Signed as Team Twocan. We came to get the Stanthorpe Apple, but couldn't drive past any of the others. We were there to flood our maps with smilies.
I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
Not sure where the signal box was but the cache did take a little searching for, once found it was onto the next.

I was invited to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007 for an epic Geocaching adventure on the Granite Belt and surrounding areas. Our morning started bright an early at Warwick (For some good ole caffeine goodness) and slowly but surely we made our way south towards Stanthorpe while grabbing MANY caches on the way.
The main goal for the weekend was to complete the Stanthorpe GeoArt and sign a couple of the challenge caches. We had a wonderful yet tiring day, we did plenty of driving and visited several locations I haven't been to before
Thank you to each and every CO for places caches at these location. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a blast. We'll certainly enjoy our sleep tonight.
Signed as Twocans
Apologies for the copy pasting crap.

Heading out to Stanthorpe this weekend to grab some of the wonderful caches on offer out here. Our group of Triple Turmoil, CHAMAD and NayFee signed logs as team TWOCAN.
An easy find at gz today.
Thank you for the cache Team Robins.

Day 3 of our Granite Belt Grabathon saw us heading North back to the GC. At least today is not wet! The temperature may reach 13 degrees today but the wind is stronger so probably still an apparent temperature of around 6 degrees. No one ever said the Geocaching was meant to be easy!
Nice easy find. Interesting road.

Day 2 of our holiday in Stanthorpe. Once we found a place to put the car, finding the cache was very easy. TFTC!
Initially both our phones were playing silly buggers and led us up the hill before settling down. I thought I had the cache but was soon handling a bong that someone had thrown away near the cache. Who knew that bongs were so cheap you could throw them away. I called out to Mrs Woodyrothwell to get me some hand sanitiser stat! She soon had the cache and the bonginess (spell that with autocorrect) was removed from my hands. tftc
Eskies5 and I planned a trip to Stanthorpe and surrounding areas to nudge me a little closer to a milestone. This was the twenty-third stop of what would be 58 finds for the day for me. Found this cache at 9:27am with not a problem. All signed and returned. TFTC
Out for a day's caching from Stanthorpe to Dalveen and beyond, most were easy finds while a couple took a bit of searching to find
TFTC
Quick and easy find on a quiet country road. This is our 3rd for the morning. After signing log, cache was returned to where found for the next finder. We did not find a signal box.

Our last here at Stanthorpe befotre heading down to Queanbeyan for the 2019 Mega. It has been great, but with mixed success. Didn't achieve as much of the Stan's Apple puzzle series smileys as we would have hoped but we will pass this way again and will pickup and redo those ones that we missed. Cache all good, nice to see a decent sized container.

What a lovely morning driving around here. Our first cache for the day. Thanks for placing it here.
Signal boxes look mighty different back home but loved the location and saw a passing maintenance car on the tracks tftc
Sorry for the generic logs but there are so many caches in this area and there are only so many things you can write. We have loved caching our way here and around the area. We are only here for a day or two so not sure how many will will get done, but we will do our best. Thank you to each and every CO for the effort that has been needed to place and maintain the caches that we were fortunate enough to make it to. Thanks.
29 of 32 caches found today.
Having successfully put to bed the newly published Winter series, #1 thru #10, it was time to spring into action & convert some more smilies around the local area.
Winter the Geo-cat was happy to continue, she loves caching days & long country drives.
Parked mere metres from GZ & spotted a likely hide as I exited the car.
BINGO!
Nailed it.
Not sure where the signal box was?
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Sam(sung) had me running in circles for this one and I tried to assume where it was. Would have been so much easier to find if I had listened to Sam to start with.
Today is the last big day of caching in the Stanthorpe area as I will have finished collecting the new souvenirs. Many thanks to Pa for putting up with my crazy addiction to caching, and souvenirs, and for chauffeuring me around for hundreds of kms. Maybe our holiday will start now.
Decided to travel north on the back roads as neither of us fancy pulling up on the highway. We found most of those we tried for with only 2 DNFs and 28 smilies. Most caches were in good condition, in fact a few had lovely new logs! I had never been to this area before so seeing the Rabbit Proof fence here was a highlight.
Thanks to all the COs and Maintenance teams for the caches along the way. All logs were either signed Smittengranny or SG depending on my mood, the time taken to retrieve the cache and the space available for signing.

Second one that we have found out in the open. It would appear that someone is messing with the cache. Replaced cache in its hide. Kutgw
Sometimes it's just about the numbers and this run was for that and if course the planetary souvenirs. I truly admire those that have done 100 or more, we were exhausted after just over 50 but that gets us half way there. We still enjoyed the driving and looking on the back roads and thank you for your effort in putting them there for us to do this run. TFTC
Thanks for the cache Team Robins
We are staying overnight in Stanthorpe and decided this was a good day to do the fruit run series and any others that may cross our path
Thanks for showing us a bit of Stanthorpe and the surrounds
And they're off. Geo friend and geo hubby at a trot in the wrong direction. Lol. Tftc
We are loving exploring these country roads and finding geocaches along the way.
Thanks Team Robins,
