I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Trav007This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
A bit difficult signing the log because of the damp paper but managed a scribble. TFTC
After tracking our way across the reserve and trying to stay out the of the plovers view we found the cache. Logbook was a bit damp. TFTC
A nice quick find here on a lovely, sunny winters day. Accurate coordinates here definitely helped. TFTC
Downhill from the sk8 park and soon alongside a likely host. Chucked a couple of nearby tennis balls back onto the grass and soon had the cache in hand. Log was damp, but still signable so replaced as found, thanks Trav007.
Headed up this road which i don't normally travel and noted the (temporary) glut of available finds. Would be rude not to stop and stretch the legs whilst passing, so that's what I did. Managed four on a nice loop walk and another couple afterwards after moving the car a couple of times, thanks all COs for your caches.

Log is soaked I wasn't able to sign it due to it's condition unfortunately. Took a photo and placed the container back where it was find. TYFTC
Nice quick find. Glad to finally make this a smilie since my DNF approx 8 years ago.
Wasn't too bad once I could convince the team to follow the GPS and stop looking in storm-water drains
Shame it wasn't at the reservoir by car park....
Had to walk back up the hill after.
Had to walk back up the hill after.
Heading up to Northland to meet the kids. Had a stop in Castor Bay for the night. Went out for an early morning walk with the dog and to collect some local caches. Took a while to find this one as there were lots of options but pleased I persevered. Sadly found I had no pen hence the photo. Too early for any kids to be about on their bikes but clearly I nice place for them to play. Thanks for the smiley.
Driven past here 100s of times but never stopped. Yep, next generation learning to ride their bikes. A quick find. Tftc
Went down the hill and had a long look for the cache. Despite us being a double set of eyes, it took us a while to locate the cache which had found a deep hiding place. Tftc!
A nice easy find after a breezy stroll down the hill. Plenty of foliage around for distraction. A great view of the city too! TFTC
Took a bit of looking but got there in the end. Cheers
A quick visit up to Auckland to see my mum. Took the long way round to the airport and found a few boxes on the way!
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

After a couple of earlier finds and going for a streak should we attempt this/ Or save it for another day. No want to clock up a few finds today so couldn't resist the temptation. Quick find. Thanks for the yellow face
Very nice spot. Took a little searching as it wasn't in an obvious spot. Also, this cache lead to the saving of one grateful bird that had fallen down a nearby grated drain, so that was fortunate. TFTC
Was in the area so walked down here for this one. Took a while but eventually the cleverly hidden cache was in hand. TFTC
After visiting Gollum at his lair not far from here, I came to see what's going on 'ere! Took me awhile to search the area, one spot I had looked in thoroughly turned out to be the spot where the cache happened to be! So much for being thorough eh!
Out this evening collecting gold coins for the Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde! Nice hide. Nice view of Auckland on the way down to GZ. Took a bit of searching. Looked in the same place twice before having it in hand. Log wet and falling apart. Needs replacement. Sorry we did not have a spare with us. Thanks Trav007.
Had a quick scout around while my daughter was using her new bike up above. Was getting dark and didn't have much time. No luck, will try again next time
#246. Ducked down to GZ after taking kids to reservoir. Nice quick find in the first place I looked. Off to the pizza place across the road for pizza for lunch. TFTC.
I looked in the right spot but not far enough. After a search around the place, I came back and made the grab. TFTC.
I had given up after searching for a while with the little SandersonHunters but MR SandersonHunters went for an extra search and managed to locate it. Good to tick another off while up at the bike platform. TFTC
Glad I read some of the comments first, made me double check more thoroughly in my search. Cache soon in hand, TFTC
Our last cache of the day and we were beginning to think we might be finishing on a dnf as 4 of us were struggling to find it, but eventually we found this very well hidden cache.
A sneaky hide. This had us searching for a while and the fear of a DNF spurred us on. Fortunately one of us had a good feel around after two others had done the same thing but missed it.
Out doing a walk from Long Bay to Campbell's Bay with Merlot58 and Jag50 getting caches along the way. We made this our last cache as we were dropping Jag50 back to their car. We spent a long time searching for this as we didn't want to finish on a DNF. Eventually Merlot58 made a more thorough search of a location that was well checked, but came at it from a different angle.
Some water and no bag. I left a clean piece of paper and also left the old one, destroyed by water
3.45pm. Back again for a second look.
This time we spent 30 minutes looking as the others were up on the reservoir biking.
Still didn't find anything.
Cheers M+S [:O)]

Three of us spent 15 minutes looking but didn't find it.
Must be well hidden.
We'll come back another day.

We had previously failed to find this cache on two occasions, but returned this evening prepared for an extended search. When our GPS said we were at GZ we searched one likely looking spot with no cache, then one of us looked somewhere else and immediately spied the container. Very well hidden indeed. Pleased to have this one off our map.Thanks.
I had to take shot at this one but like others, I had zero luck. It was a nice spot, but there was no changing the fact that I just could not find it. Thanks for the spot!
Out for a wee caching expedition before making dinner. It's got a bit cooler this evening so had to seek out my special caching jersey (the one that I don't care if it rips plus it's black so doesn't show the dirt ).
Took a while to track down as the GPSrs wouldn't settle though if we had both searched the initial location better, it would have been a much quicker find!
We had originally intended to go for a walk in Centennial Park but hunger kicked in so will leave that for another day. TFTC.

Day 34 of a hopeful 50-day caching streak... Sharing the challenge with Gap (of Fap and Gap).
Away early this morning. The plan was to make a flying visit to Gap's new grandchild in Auckland, then head back to Hamilton to swoop on recently published caches for our license challenge. First, we needed a cache find to kick-start the day, so this was it... A brief search and Gap had this one in hand. TFTC.

6.30am - Walked to GZ and soon found cache in hiding hole. Log a little damp but will dry out. Now homeward bound. SLTFTC
Good find. An adventure to navigate though the bushes. Log is wet however consider replacing. FC squad
Nicely hidden away, found after short search thx to the clue. Interesting under ground reservoir near here doubling as a sports playing area!

Not sure how casaba3 and I found this one so quickly - but we did. We'd come over from the golf course with casaba3's geodog on a caching outing and were talking about our own memories of the time spent here in our school days and wondering what the building works were all about (car park?) so weren't paying a lot of attention on the location of the cache. Had I not looked at GPSr about half way across we would have overshot it altogether since it was down the bottom of the slope. We turned around and saw a heavy rain over the city - on the way out we discovered the wall of rain not far away (oops, raincoats still in car about a half hour away). Not sure what happened then, because it looked like we were in for a drenching but we only received a drizzle and blue skies not long after! The cache was a bit damp too, as per previous log and I didn't have anything with me this time to dry it out with. Thanks for the cache Trav007!
Had a great time reminiscing with garball on this caching trip, GPSr was accurate and had our hands on this one quite quickly. TFTC Trav007

Quick find...... Maybe we got lucky. Log saturated. Removed and replaced. Have put cache back upside down hoping this will keep the inside drier. TFTC
I had a good scramble about and really could not find anything. After checking a couple of places, whipping out the compass to get my bearings properly sorted, I think the GPS put me right on it. However, no matter how much I scratched and scraped, nothing came to hand. After having a splinter accidentally shoved up under my fingernail (I now know why the humble bamboo stalks are such an effective torture!), I was not in the mood to look more. I will certainly come back though and be more careful about the splinter thingies.
Very wet inside, wasn't able to sign the log as the paper almost ripped when we tried to write on it.
TFTC though

Out for an evening of caching. After getting a cache across the road we headed down to get this one. A quick find. But the log was socking wet and we were not able to sign it. TFTC.
Thought I'd try my luck while waiting for a pizza at Dominos across the road, but it's a bit hard with just a phone and in the dark.
