Quick dash down to here before we head out to dinner, rain is in the air but if I move quick enough . . . . . .
Nice walk to here and admire that coarse golden sand. Looked across at the target for another day, the Earth cache at the foreshore across the water, did that on Saturday morning.
All good here as per the hint and replaced as found. T F T C Orange Flame.
This weekend is a four day weekend for us, Thursday and Friday on leave as we're going away for a couple of nights to Marahau for mrs capperz's birthday, walk the first part of the Abel Tasman walkway and visit out fellow quiz-team cohorts in their new house. The weather all week had been interesting and yesterday brought on torrential rain and storms for many regions, which continued through the night. The forecast was for clearing conditions and a great day for Friday, which fitted in with our walking plans. On Saturday we visited the split apple rock, marble quarry and came back via Riwaka resurgence, Ruby Bay and 'some' caches - of course.

Returned to Marahau after 10 years, this time as a cacher so had to pick up some local caches between the showers. Wasn’t long before I was completing the admin.

Found it after almost giving up. But a last check under a stone resulted in a find. Left a travelbug. Beautiful spot. Tftc.
Our last Marahau cache before shooting over to Kaiteri to make a pickup on time. Obvious spot once we got close enough and find quickly made. tftc
We went on our way to Picton. We passed this cache and decided to make a little walk to look for the cache. We found it rather quick.

Due to a lack of time we could just hike a short path of this famous trail. but even that short leg gave us an good impression how beautiful it is
Along the trail we looked for several caches too.

Having just been found a few days ago I thought I could avoid the areas guarded by gorse which narrowed down the books and crannies to look at. Loved my walk out here, thanks very much!
We spent a lot of time around here watching the boats and kayaks. The water was a bit cooler than we thought it may have been but still inviting enough to have a paddle. There were no other people around GZ so a quick find was made. Thanks Orange Flame for the cache
Four weeks we spent together with Lwagnero and Geoded wandering through the beautiful New Zealand and occasionally also searched caches. This was one of them that we found. Thanks and greetings from Czech Republic.
One month on NZ and two days on seakajaks - and some cachies naturaly Here I dropped off TB. Good lack on next traveling!

Gorgeous trek out here late in the day. Stopped for this one a few days back but the rain discouraged me.
Survived the high tides well. Tucked in nicely. Flowers reminded me of ice cream! Got the earthcache across the inlet too. Amazing Bird life up here. 21 species today!

This one was so much fun took me a bit and the GPS was sending me in the wrong direction but as soon as I saw the pole I knew I was in the right place, I sat down and thought time to give up when I thought hmm how bout here and bam - got it! Thank you!
Oh my gosh how beautiful is it here. Went for a drive to explore the area and ended up here. Altough is mentioned that dogs are not allowed, that is not correct as dogs are allowed as long as they are on the leash!. So we took the doggies for a walk. Just when I wanted to go for a search... I heard "watch out, mugglers"
Great to find out that they were after the same box as we were. Nice to meet you Two-atara

Oh b..... we thought as we saw another couple heading for GZ - they're going to sit down just where we want to search! Turns out we were all on the same mission so, pooling our resources, we soon had the cache in hand. We love how geocaching brings people together from all over the world!
We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun. Thanks for placing the cache.
Came for a pleasant walk along the sandspit after lunch today. It took a few minutes to find the well-concealed cache but it was right where the hint said it should be. Full tide, lots of kayakers around and a strong-ish sea breeze to keep things cool. Signed log, TFTC
Had a nice swim in the bay at high tide the day before yesterday but hadn't noticed the cache on the map then. So I came back today and had a nice stroll in the bay at low tide. Lovely spot. Tftc
Having dropped HorseGirlNZ at her school camp a little way up the road, it was time for some caches being heading home.
Having parked, I nonchalantly strode passed the massed ranks of kayakers undergoing their induction and quickly made my way to the GZ.
Once there, and got my bearings, the cache was a quick find.
Thanks

To make the most of this hot and sunny day, I started early this morning to go to Kaiteriteri and on to Abel Tasman National Park...
Like on all previous days of my holiday I looked for caches when I stopped at lookouts etc anyway - often there were caches hidden in such spots. But every now and then I also stopped my car when my gps pointed out a cache and it was possible to park nearby.
Even at low tide, this area looked interesting. After a short walk and an even shorter search I found the box and continued my trip.

Found while out at Marahau holidaying. Drove to the beach where we walked to the end of the spit. Shame I haven't found more out here because the amount of time we spend here but it's been so lovely that I haven't been urged much to find a geocache. think the cache has been moved since I found it last year with an another geocacher before I had this account #38
We have lived in the "Top of the South" for 11 years and never walked this sand spit. Now we have walked it and the extra bonus was finding the cache. TFTC
Beautiful early morning walk along the beach. Saw a few birds and the kayak tour operators getting the kayaks ready for the day.
Cache in good condition. Gave a wave to Orange Flame (I assume you live in one of the nice homes overlooking the bay?) and moved on.

What an amazing location! A wonderful walk along the beach and the reward of a cache at the end of it!
Many thanks for placing this cache! We had a lovely day on the beaches of the area!

Found on an evening stroll after pitching our tent and having a BBQ on a nearby camp site. Cache was easily found, eventhough a pile of "geo sticks" close by put us off at first. No problem retrieving the box,as mentioned by previous finders. Cache is dry and in good condition.

Enjoyed the stroll down the spit. A water taxi was passing by, on its way to Kaiteriteri.
Cache was an easy find but wasn't able to extricate it from its hidey hole. In the end, we left it there and removed the lid to access the log book. TFTC.

#8667. Enjoyed the walk down the spit. The cache was quickly found by Troodles, but we couldn't get it out. In the end I opened the lid "in situ" and got the log book out. Getting the lid back on was trickier. TFTC.
Last cache after completing a 10 hour kayaking trip along the coast - this one from the car. Tftc
Enjoyed doing this cache. Soon had found the cache, had more trouble retrieving it. Thanks for placing cache in such a neat place.
Popped out to the spit to check on a cairn we built here a while ago to remember a friend. Pleased to see the cairn still standing we decided to plod along the spit. Then it dawned on me that there might be a cache out here. Pulled out the phone and we were on our way. Quick find but no pen so we took a photo instead. Beautiful spot, TFTC.
My first find in New-Zealand! And in a lovely place; we had a great time in Marahau. Thanks for the cache!
During our visit in beautiful New Zealand, we have naturally sought some caches. There were many memorable impressions on our trip and showed us some caches the New Zealand off the beaten path. You have a wonderful country! We thank all Ownern for the cache and send best regards from Denmark, Thyde2.

Ice cream and a cache. Almost caught short by the lack of a pencil but a bit of nature helped out.
Wandered to the end of the spit a waved to Orange Flame if s/he was watching, thanks

Biked from Ngaio Bay to Marehau on a gorgeous day. Spent ages searching a myriad of possible hiding spots before being able to sign the log.
During my 5-day hike of Abel Tasman (inland and coastal) track, I found this cache at the very last day, when leaving the national park.
Really enjoyed the trip!
New Zealands landscape is fantastic!
Unfortunately this cache was my very last find in NZ.
Nice hiding place, it was a quick find (due to the hint)!
All is well with the container!
TftC from Austria!

Took a nice stroll along the spit as the tide was coming in. Met some nice polite children on the way back but didnt tell them about nearby treasure. Thanks for the cache Red Flame, we gave you a wave in case you were watching.
Grabbed this one whilst on an evening stroll from camp site. Great views. No problems finding. TFTC.
Visiting from the US. Only had time for a few caches here and there. Great view. Thanks!
Makka pakka 2 went out to day caching in the Able Tasman National Park. Ten out of ten caches found. Walked into Coquille Bay for lunch on the beach. Had a lovely day in the park and the caches just made it so much more interesting on the way. TFTC
