TaurusSix and I went on a geocaching circuit today. The aim was to undertake maintenance on several of our existing cache hides , a few had gone missing. As well as maintenance we also aimed to collect as many new and straggler caches along the way as practical . We left Bunbury and headed to the Dardanup Bakery first up , why not it was Sunday morning after all, after we had filled up on wonderful produce we headed to Boyanup, Donnybrook , Cardiff , Collie and Burekup before coming the full circuit back to Bunbury. A pleasant and productive local circuit for the day . The day started wet and showery but the sun soon came out and it was nice and sunny for the rest of the day right until the end when it started to rain again . We did several pleasant short walks for the day and all in all Avery good day of geocaching was had. This was our tenth cache find of the day . This cache has been on our radar for a long time , we just never seem to have made the time before . Today was the day, we were prepared to go for a long walk and was pleasantly surprised to realise we could drive most of the way to the gz. Nice bush all around , the cache was found quite quickly. Thanks for the cache find .
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 45 - Collie day. It rained all night and it rained on and of fall day. I spent lots of time in the car waiting for rain to ease and way too much time running back to the car as the rain got too heavy. I am rally impressed by the ground drainage, some of the dirt tracks I went on were great despite all the rain. It was a difficult day, A few more DNFs than I would have like, but I did get to visit quite a few very interesting places and the tourist drive along the river was amazing. In the end I just went home and cooked dinner and watched TV, a bit unusual for me on a trip.I spent a bit of time following sandy bush tracks. They were very derivable, despite all the rain. I managed to find both caches without any problems and headed back into town. Thanks for the cache Bob9847630.14 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2018 El Dorado Compass Rose A#377**Albida**
Thanks for taking us on this adventure. My geomobile isn’t quite up to this track but we made it through. Enjoyed the sunset at the end
Day 4 of caching our way around Bunbury and surrounds for WAGB22. Ive enjoyed the variety of hides down here. Thank you to the COs for placing these caches out here for others to enjoy. Apologies for the generic logs.
In the bunbury area for WAGB22, out with a few other caches to try our luck.

Day 4 Of our WAGB22 adventures: A great start to the day- a scenic country drive although a bit bumpy along a 4WD track. Cito event in Collie. Several more caches found and lots of laughs . What a full day . Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Out and about getting local caches and a nice drive through the bush good quick find. The zip lock bag is ripped and unfortunately didn’t have a spare on me log book is nice and dry
Followed the fence-line around from “Flight Path 2 “. Although the track is a bit rough we had no problem. It would be interesting in the winter.
Nice quick find. Enjoyed the drive through the bush. Found with RedRobbin25. Tftc
Went looking for this one today with teamlaroche, and after a couple of minutes of searching super geo dad found it! TFTF
Found this a while back and almost forgot to log it. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Awesome. Love the outdoor fireplace. Shame the people who had the fire didn’t use it. Thanks for this visit
Camping out at Stockton Lake so grabbed a couple of caches on the way back to town. Cache found and logged signed.

Nice drive in through the bush. Found the cache without to much trouble. Didn't have to have a long reach.
Went for a quick afternoon cache hunt with the geokids, and this was the next after doing flight path 2.
We managed to connect the two by driving along the gravel road on the south side of the airport fence. As the cache owner suggests, you will need a vehicle with ground clearance to be able to get this cache and drive the route above.
Took a few bits of rubbish, but it's unfortunate that throughout the bush in the collie area, various scumbags have dumped their rubbish, so there is a fair bit of it around. Such a shame.
Thanks for the caches Bob98.

A bit of creative driving in my little rental car and then a 400M walk to the cache. Awesome location. TFTC
pug002 found it on 21/4/2016 on our trip south geocaching. TFTC Bob98. Boy don't people ever get tired of dumping rubbish, how on earth do they find these places to do so!
Not difficult to get to GZ
Just follow the airport fence from the gate
Watch out for the ditch about 1/3 of the way though [:o]
At GZ, I went a searching for a cache.
Alas !! This is yet another local's rubbish dump
Somewhere amongst the junk, I found me a cache
I headed off before the flight from Bali landed
*Don't all flights in or out of WA go to Bali ?*

Very easy four wheel driving to get there just a bit harder to work out how to get there! Tftc
Having a night in collie for the collie idol at the pub and utilised the day after to

Headed to collie this weekend to catch up with friends and found a long list of caches up and back from Albany. TFTH TFTC TNLN
Staying in Collie for the weekend in our A-van we decided to go for a drive to explore Darkin. This was fun to test out our new four wheel drive. We did start on the wrong track on the wrong side of the pipeline. All good ... SL TFTC Bob98, another old one

In all the years I lived in Collie I had never been to the airstrip, thanks for bringing me here
So many caches out there, waiting to be found. ~Tango~ was up from Albany again and was happy to do spend another day caching, so off we set, heading southwards. No problems finding this one either. Thanks Bob98
Was enjoying a visit to Mandurah when Mistraluna suggested a trip up to Collie to grab some bush caches and have some fun exploring. It was a great day: there were a few caches on which we'd previously logged DNFs, there was an unexpected FTF, and lots of admiration for the MTBers that do some amazing feats out there. Grabbed this easily enough. Thanks for placing it.
Great find and a very nice view out there ! One place I haven't been before
Found while on a cycling tour of Collie.
Thanks for the cache Bob98 and Mouldibru.

Out for some caching adventures in Collie with OOH YEH, we had said our goodbyes & continued onto this one! I don't think we needed 4WD, although the ground was soft & sandy in a few spots... As we got closer, we started to wonder if we were going to find a cache, as there has recently been a fire through here
We managed to park about 30m from the cache and made our way across the black ash to the cache site... Luck was on this cache's side as it was well hidden away from any flames and it had managed to survive [^] The heat however had melted the container & the lid was stuck on.. The container broke when pryed it open but the log was all ok We had another 200ml sistema with us, so we have replaced it for you Bob98...
We enjoyed our journey to this one today & young DangerMouse09 had a great time in the drivers seat... TFTC

Bit of a walk from the very scenic track in. Found easily and spotted the geocoin. Cache is nice and dry and does not need maintenance.
Lets go this way! No, what about up here! Hey, there's a track there! I wonder if we can fit in there? Uh huh; it's a damn good thing that we took the boat off the roof before going after this cache, otherwise it might still be caught up in a pine or a gum tree. That bloody mine sure is ugly, but the bush was pretty good once we got in there. TFTC Took geocoin and left nuffin.
The car GPS took us on a merry trip aound the countryside so we eventually turned it off and followed the handheld.
We were still were not on the right track but when we got within two hundred meters we bush bashed through to the cache on foot.
TFTC and adventure.

Did this one after Flight Path 2. Drove around the fence and got to about 200m from the cache. TFTC
Drove most of the way in and then walked the last short bit. Found the cache after a short search. Dropped Saving Shiloh GC
Did flight path 2 a little earlier in the day, this one gave us a lovely bush walk. TFTC
This was a little more challenging for our vehicle than Flight Path 2. However we very carefully negotiated the sports car up the track alongside the pipeline. Parked about 480 mts from GZ and found a very convenient path pretty much all the way to the cache.
Over hill, over dale; my dad will never fail to hunt down these FTF. My turn to get this one, FTF. TFTC. The 'nose' cone was a sight to see.
2TF! On the way home received a call from geowife that a cache has popped up. So off we go for a nice bush bash. TFTC.
