Searched around the posted coordinates but all we found was a plastic toy and hundreds of ladybugs. Given that a nearby geocache appears to be trashed, I am wondering whether this one has suffered the same fate.

There’s some excellent views up here, that’s for sure. We found the cache which is in need of some maintenance as the logbook has been wet & now is mouldy but we still managed to sign it.
Thanks for sharing this lovely location with us.

Walked up the hill to the cairn and enjoyed the view. This cache could do with a little more weather proofing.
Beautiful views over the Barossa! The book is mouldy, but still has a few good pages. Thank you!
It is all mouldy and falling to pieces. I've replaced the bag but definitely needs to be put in a waterproof container
Visiting from tassie and out for a geocaching day with gridge98 this cache was on our itinerary a short search and the cache was found. What a fantastic view!
After having lunch near by we headed up here, after a short search the cache was easily found
Today Nettieknows and I headed to Hale Conservation Park to complete the loop walk before going to the Barossa for lunch and collected a few caches on the way home. Total of 19 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Found during an enjoyable and eventful caching foray around the backroads of Nuriootpa after attending 'A 10th Geo Birthday and other Stuff' event. Thanks for the cache SA_ParrotHead!
This morning, Freddo, Team Waldron, thewhitedoggang, and Trail06 joined forces to complete the new Anna Tommy geoart series. The puzzle series took a while and some were pretty finnicky, but in the end, my anatomy knowledge had improved. We then detoured through a few geocaches around Gawler like the Meat Trail series, before I met with jesswrigley, and we took a drive through the wine country through Lyndoch finding a few oldie geocaches, and enjoying some wine tasting. We ended up calling through Tanunda for a bakery lunch, before closing out our day with some small walks/hiking in Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park, finding one of South Australia's oldest caches *Barossa High* as well as a few other older caches. A nice day to be out and about before we start seeing serious COVID-19 travel restrictions take effect.
A quick find, although the logbook was getting rather full. I noted that the CO was only here recently, and so we didn't feel the need to add a logbook then. Otherwise, the geocache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks SA_ParrotHead for the geocache placement, and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Gees, a gum tree in a 44, not much room for anything else. And again, lovely views.
Thanks for the cache.

My Australia adventure continued today with a flight to Adelaide, where SA_ParrotHead showed me some great sights. Really enjoying the views here. Reminds me of eastern Washington back home. TFTC!
Owl was glad they had a 4WD for this one, but the reward was a great view and a logged cache.
An easy find. Pity you can't drive to the cairn on the hill cos someone has locked the gate
Sensational views forever on the way up the hill. After recent rain the ground was still softish so we had to engage 4wd to enable a smoother ride. Thanks for enticing us up the hill for our last find in this area.
This year I set myself 2 goals. First one is to have a minimum of 5 caches on each calendar day. Shouldn't be hard as I only have 14 days of caching to achieve this. This was one of those days so I enlisted the help of Anymules as we both had done the majority of the Jack Bobridge Trail and both wanted to get it completed. [^] Of course there is no way I was going to stop at just 5.
A quick stop for us after visiting stone garden. [^] The cache was in the first place we looked.
**Thanks SA_ParrotHead for this cache. **

After spending the night in Nuriootpa I decided I would find a few caches on my way home...well maybe a little detour...
Great views from here looking out over the Barossa's interesting landscape...

Sorry a bit slow with the logging. Edvern and I here for the orienteering championships, and in a bit of spare time decided to do some local caches. Really enjoying the area. This was about as far as we thought we should take the rental car. TFTC
Here for the orienteering and a day off today. Found with Tramper Ted while enjoying a drive around the pleasant countryside around here. Added a new container and logbook inside the broken remains of the original container. Greetings from New Zealand.
Found the cache, but it certainly needs a little love, the lid has snapped off... It's a little soupy...
Out NE from home looking for traditionals again. Started with some Jack around Rowland Flat then went even more country around the dirt roads to the east mainly around Krondorf. A pleasant afternoon with 21 finds but unfortunately finished with 2 DNFs.
Container here no longer a container, top completely broken off, needs replacing.
Thanks for the cache SA_ParrotHead

Tftc and for this view. The cache will need replacing before winter rains. Cracked. Covered with plastic bag until CO comes!
The sun is shining... what lovely day to be out and about. Wasn't sure about driving through here but after reading the cache info it seems it's okay... just shut the gates.
A quick find and sign and a photo from where I had come from.

Continued along this road, feels like the top of the world along here...

Traveling up this rocky road and walking through a bit of high grass made a easy find.
Out with Muggle Sister, Nephew and 86 YO Father, we decided to try for this one by automobile. Nothing but complaints by 86YO, "this is not a road, you cant go up there"and a few other french words. I never knew my name was Jesus Christ. Hmm suppose he is right but he does not cache. An easy find in an obvious location and yet again some great views. Maybe a return visit to get the others on this walk. TFTC.
And WOW our 2600th find

A great view, such fun exploring the Barossa this way. Thanks for the hunt this afternoon
A few quick caches after a night shift, out in the Barossa with Jack.
Dry weather track... well it wasn't raining at least
Lovely views, thanks for the trip up, and TFTC SA_ParrotHead

An easy find today on this lovely sunny autumn day driving around the hills SL TNLN TFTC
Found on our way home from Nurioopta... exploring the back roads :c) Glad we decided to visit a few caches around this area this afternoon... although windy and a little wet, the views and the colours of the sun thought the clouds, strengthens our appreciation of country caching. TFTC!!
Thanks for the find. Found with mrbuzzy it's a pity the gate is now padlocked - little short for time to walk up there today.
After delivering the ute for modifications in Gawler, visiting a great 'certain' shop in Nuriootpa for supplies and a bakery for sustenance, we had time for a few smileys.

The day started with meeting up with Semik and Locus Cache, piling into Harry and heading north!
First stop Nuri!! Was great, as always, to catch up with some Smiling Tomcats and talk for hours!!! Next stop was some lunch in Angaston to fuel up for our Girls Day Out Adventure!
From there, it was a fun and bouncy ride in Harry to part of the Five Oh Series before heading somewhere special for our 100th cache! We diverted slightly to take some photos of the dust storm swirling around the Barossa after the recent fires.
Semik took us to Stone Garden for our first major milestone and what a perfectly special place it was! Stunning views and so peaceful. It was awesome to share this with two awesome chicks

So what else do you do on a 40 degree day but go geocaching [?]
It actually started out as a trip to Australia Wide Badges with RailMax and SEMIK to get some geocaching goodies. Except then it morphed into getting RailMax to their 100th find and then after that milestone was achieved it became about getting them to 50 finds in a day
Many, many laughs were shared, Harry had a real caching run again after some enforced time off of the road, we braved massive dust storms, heat and rain and the day ended at almost midnight [^]
My total for the day was 7 caches
Heading back into the vineyard to find this cache we saw a lamb jump through the fence back into the flock, then some other sheep just had to escort us down the roadway until the paddock opened out and they joined the other flock.
We drove very slowly and carefully so as not to push them on this hot day and it was cute watching one of the lambs jump and kick

There are more No Through Roads around here than a cacher would like but I managed to get to this one.
on a drive around the lovely Barossa Valley. We are introducing a muggle friend to the game and we think he's hooked! Tftc

Found It!
Walked on to this one from Stone Garden with the Kelly Gang and BN97. Then we realised that we were standing on a road so Mrs Kelly Gang was called and she came and picked us up. Great views from up here!

Approached this one from the SE along the top of the range, this being the 4th from that direction. The track towards You are my sunshine looked a bit dodgy after the rain. Thanks SA ParrotHead.
Thanks again SA ParrotHead for bringing us on this great walking trail. An easy find.
It's a beautiful sunny day today. On our way to find the rest of them up here. Great views. TFTC
This took waaay longer than it should! We looked in the obvious spot, found nothing then came back to it later with more success! Thanks for bringing us here for a fabulous view.
