Having solved the puzzle in advance, I was disappointed when I finally managed to get to the cache location and didn't find it. I checked all the little rocks around the base of the tree, but there was nothing that looked like it might harbour a cache. I did find an impressively big land snail.

This puzzle had me stumped for quite some time. Finally bounced it off some co-workers and after a while the solution was in hand. Turned out to be a lot simpler than what I was thinking. Nice container. TFTC

So its my birthday and we were just wrapping up dinner at Ruby Tuesdays when I notice Roxanne and Josh sitting quietly at the end...head buried in napkins. (Note: When Josh is quiet...thats usually not a good thing.) I walk over to see what they are up to...and behold...Time after Time. After tossing around ideas, we decided to text JIMP59 for a hint (BTW...awesome hint!). Immediately Josh took over and SHAZAM! After seeing the first two numbers...we knew instantly that we had it. We entered the coordinates into the geochecker, and thank you sweet baby Jesus! This puzzle has been solved!

Once again...Clever puzzle. Its a lot easier than it seems. TFTC!

woohooo Team Duck Hunters are baaaaaaaaack! *doing a chicken dance* It surely has been one crazy busy summer and we hadn't cached in a LOOOOONG time! Just the other day stargazer, rocket and I were talking about making time to get back into the game....and here we are!

Anyways, I was with sherbear the other night and she mentioned that jimp had posted a cache with a puzzle that she hadn't had time to fully solve, so I told her I'd take a stab at it. I figure out the math and prod around it for a bit, but I just can't seem to concentrate! I joked that I'd skipped school that day and not being able to solve this was starting to bruise my grey matter.

Normally we work better bouncing our ideas off each other, so after sherbears birthday dinner, all our friends are laughing and teasing us that we look like we're in school again taking a test with our game faces on trying to solve this puzzle! And just like blygoat had done, we kept inputting numbers into the geochecker and kept getting INCORRECT! We'd been incorrect all night that I was starting to take it personally! I was convinced those red letters had it out for me.

It was getting late and all our friends had left. We're still sitting at the restaurant, and did NOT want to leave until we solved it....so we gave in a *little* and texted jimp for a hint. Once we had the hint we knew we were headed in the right direction and iJosh took off with it! I'm still sitting there enjoying my mojito buzz when sherbear plugs in iJosh's answers into geochecker. I held my breath expecting another INCORRECT, but I guess the red letters went on a smoke break or something because the pretty little green letters that say CORRECT came out to play! We were so excited, we had to have another cocktail to celebrate!

We get to GZ unfortunately ill-prepared, three duck hunters with only one flashlight (in our defense we didn't KNOW we'd be caching, and mind you, I'm in heels and a SKIRT, SOOoooOOOo not caching attire!) and after ten minutes (okay, okay, maybe it was really FIVE) we still didn't have the cache in our hands. We give jimp another call to confirm we're in the right area and he mentions he was on the way home, but he's five minutes away and will be right over!

Unfortunately for us the cache had been muggled (dang, already?!) but fortunately he had another log and we were able to sign it and he'd put it in the replacement container. The time was 1130. But the night's young and the Duck Hunter adventure has just begun, we recruit jimp to go with us to find blygoat's new one Over the Sunrise...and off we go!

TFTC!

*****Woohoo, FTF with Kiwika this morning!***** Tried to solve this one last night but after several hours of getting "Incorrect" on Geochecker.com, I decided to shoot off an e-mail to the owner just to see if I was on the right track. Went to bed and woke up to an e-mail that said I was "dead on" and that there was an error in one of the formulas. Ahhh, what a difference a plus and a minus sign makes! Corrected one of the numbers and yes, geochecker.com confirms my calculations! Woke up Kiwika and we head out on our geoscooters which made this one an easy png. Drove right up to the cache, opened it up to find a blank log and noted our time at 6:22 am on the digital clock! TFTC-SL TNLN

I was way ahead of dad in solving this puzzle cache, but that geochecker kept slapping me in the face with a "incorrect" message. But got woken up by Blygoat this morning going "yes! lets go i figured out the puzzle". So we headed down and yay! FTF! thought Ungkulu and Jst My Luck were going to find it without solving the puzzle and without a GPS before anyone else hahaha! Smile
