No luck for me today despite bush bashing and a face full of cobwebs. Will keep a watch on cache and see if it turns up.
We were told by a neighbour that the council did some maintenance in the spot where the cache is supposed to be. Could not find it.
Lots of bush and grass in the area as it is spring not sure of that is why I could not find it
Yes, the WEST I should have! Accustomed to going cross country anyway so got there without being ambushed! TFTC
After all this time I’ve found a list of ‘drafts’ so feel a bit daft given there’s about 90 sitting there so this is a tad late. Picking up a small clutch of caches in this area partly to fulfil another mission and have a leg stretch as I’m enroute to Melbs to do some ‘caring’. TFTC- great fun wandering along here etc etc!
Out for our walk and to pick up some caches along the way on this mild Melbourne winters day. Today we walked along a small section of the Warburton Rail Trail. This was the fourth cache for the day. We did find the easy route in and Mr Pooky made a relatively quick easy find. Log Book is damp but we were still able to write on it and we did return it to its snap lock bag. TFTC and bringing us to this walking track. TNLN
There’s an easy way to get to this one and a hard way. With three youngsters in tow (youngest is 4) I’m glad we took time to find the easier route!
Very easy find. Loved where it was positioned. Make sure to bring something to put in the container because it only has one thing

A day in and around the Yarra Valley; we were surprised at how green this part of Victoria is and at the number of interesting caches on offer for us to find. Wow A golden oldie - almost 10 years on the gameboard.
Our thanks to 'waterette1' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

This cache is possibly better done after some dry weather rather than the rains we have had recently. The cache was found in good condition and as per the hint. TFTC.
I needed to find 1 cache placed in July 2010 to qualify for a St Arnaud challenge cache. Today Bunadoorian and I headed here and found this cache. It was fairly wet under foot after recent rains. TFTC waterette1
An unexpected trip to Melbourne as my Dad landed himeself in hospital meant I came without any of my usual geocaching gear. In between hospital visits, cleaning his house and chilling out with his pets, Ive got a day to geocache around Lilydale. Really enjoying the walk along this path, so quiet and serene with plenty of fresh air. Thanks to the CO for placing & maintaining this cache, and for showing me a great area.
Cheers.
Access: i found the pathway that runs to the housing fence line and followed that. Minimal bush bash and no sliding down embankment.
Log Book: the sheet feels damp so tried to prevent it frome getting wet. You can still find spots to sign, but it wouldnt hurt for future cacher to bring a spare one to put in.
Cache: dry when returned.
Took: nothing
Left: 2 plastic bug toys
Signed Log.

I had been at Healesville for a bit of work at the Yarra Valley Railway... and as we had finished early, I took the opportunity to take a longer way home and look for some caches to help me with this year's "annual souvenir hunt". Leaving my car at a suitable access point, I set off for short walk along the *rail trail*... and as I went I realised that the last time I had been along this particular embankment, it was in a train!
Anyway, I found a suitable point to slide off the embankment and went off to find the cache... easily done with signing the log being a little more difficult. The log sheet is full and needs replacing... and as the CO seems to be MIA, a *Needs Maintenance* is probably going to kill the cache eventually...
If you are out there somewhere reading this, thanks **waterette1** for putting this cache out.

Found in great condition today.
Needed to channel my inner billy goat to get back up.

Nice, easy find. The cache was a bit wet, but the log was dry thanks to the zip lock bag. All in good condition. TFTC
Very hard to get to and easy to find. Needs some more paper. It was a great cashe. TFTC
Wasn’t wearing the right shoes to go searching. I’ll come back to this one on a better day
Found easily after a little trek through the ivy undergrowth. Logbook is almost full.
What a magical spot. Cache in hand to the sound of a cockatoo munching excitedly the tree above.
Great side trip through lush gully - with Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos munching on pines overhead
2nd visit here as no pen with me first time Good excuse to return as very nice walk along here! Log is very full! TFTC
A lot of poking around at GZ, as the GPS was very unstable . Had to resort to reading the hint to find this one . Thanks waterette1
After a DNF years ago it was time to make it an smiley. This time luck was on my side and we had the log book in our hands quickly.
Quick easy find tonight, once the correct path in was located.
Feels good to be gettinh smilies again after not caching for the past 4 weeks.
Thanks for placing this hide.

As must as I would hate to admit. I did bash around for a bit. Always happy to get a smiley
Enjoyed finding this booty! Well hidden in true pirate fashion. Our 300th find, during the Mary Hyde Pirate Adventure.
Terrain was about a 4 but I must have come from the wrong side! Easy find in the end. TFTC
After trying to get to this from the wrong angle, I eventually found the right way and it was quickly found and signed. Tftc
Out for a walk along here with robinyang so that we could feel out the terrain and environment for a rather long walk we will be doing here on Saturday. We comfortably walked just over 8km today, which gave me confidence that I will make it to Warburton without dying.
We thought about bypassing this cache for about....ummmmm.....a nano-second. The terrain, although not tough, was a little higher than a 1.5 and rather viney looking. It seemed as though a fair bit of water has rushed through here and carried a bit of rubbish with it. But in the end we bit the bullet and made our way in.....and it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked. In fact GZ opened out into a cute little oasis. We made the find quickly thanks to great coords. As we emerged from the trees back onto the track, of course a muggle was walking past and gave us a good stare. Robin and I both smiled sweetly and said hello as the muggle continued on without a word.
Thanks for the cache

With a charity walk coming up this Saturday, I was wanting to go out on a training walk but as 9am ticked by I still hadn't decided where to go. In the midst of my uncertainty, a phone call from The Rusty's asking whether I wanted to head out for a training walk was an answer to my prayers. In short order, I was out the door and The Rusty's and I soon found ourselves on the Warburton Rail Trail heading from Lilydale to Mt Evelyn. This cache was the third find of the day.
Approaching from the east, there was a steep descent down to where the cache was so we headed further down the trail before we could walk to GZ. The Rusty's took the lead and we soon found ourselves searching and before long, my caching buddy spotted the cache. SL, replaced and returned to the trail. Emerging together from the undergrowth, we had one of the those awkward moments as we encountered a muggle. *sigh* Oh well, thank goodness I will never see that person again. TFTC waterette1.

The terrain was a bit more than indicated and I thought I was heading for someone's backyard. Got my hands on the cache in a good spot. Thanks waterette
I had the right idea but wrong spot. In the last of the daylight I found Pirate Treasure. I was enjoying the moment when I noticed a bullant. Suddenly concerned I was standing on an ant nest I TN but photo LN but my fear and SL. TFTC
Terrain is much harder than indicated. Finally found it after reading previous comments and realising you need to climb down off the path. Once down on level ground it was relatively easy and a nice find, but the climb down is only for the brave...
Three boys headed up into the hills on a brisk Winter morning. We're in the process of hunting down caches on the anniversary of their placement, as part of a challenge cache. Made our way past clutches of Poke-Uggles to the GZ and then we had a quick hunt before locating the container.
Thanks for the hide, and the pretty walk through the tunnel to get here.

Find 05 of 05 for the day and #2032 in total.
Found by Echo! (Echo 3 - Spice 2)
Well one of us went down the bank and the other went around, we aren't sure who was smarter.
The house owners here sure must know what's hidden here.
Last cache of the day for us as one of us is part of a wedding party this afternoon.
("\(0o0)/") Thanks waterette1 for the caching fun!
