On the bike so thought i would give this one a go - lots of back and forth, dodging the crowds and mental arithmetic!! But got there in the end -was a nice little diversion. TFTC.
On the way down to my way to Mornington to house it stop to pick up this very long awaited fine picked up the Marcus some time ago and finally got to put a smiley here nice walk lovely area that is the cache
Had the entire morning to myself and I started looking at the geocaching map to work out where I wanted to go. Then I remembered that I needed an old geocache in the Jells Park area. Lots of Multicaches too, which I'm trying to collect more of. Only problem with doing all the Multicaches at the same time is trying to organise the order to minimise the walking distance required.
Found this one at 11 am after strolling around collecting all the information. My coordinates for WP3 was about 30 meters out, about 20 meters into the lake, but I could still see where I needed to go. Otherwise everything worked well.
Thanks for the cache Cache Guardians and Hi Pressure

Last time I was at Jells Park I ran out of time to do this multi. I returned with the instructions printed out and methodically made my way from point to point. I was pleased with my efforts as this is something I could easily stuff up. At GZ the cache was found quickly and easily.
On my way to meet pinnacle333, I stopped to do this cache to add to a multi challenge.
These emergency markers are important places. Great walk. Thanks hi pressure.

I have been slowly working on qualifying for "The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge" (GC7RCQ3) and as I only have a few solved puzzles I tried to look for possible multi-caches today. That is when I remembered this one.
I have loved finding caches in the Jells Park area, but have put off finding this one, as I was a little intimidated with all of the waypoints. However, with all the rain we have been having lately I was keen to get out for a bit of a longer walk. I checked the BOM radar after work and it look like it would be sprinkling at worst. So after work I hopped into the geomobile and headed over.
I had a bit of a stumble at the posted coordinates as it took me a bit to realise that the starting sign wasn't an Emergency Marker, but just a normal sign. Once I figured that out I was able to quickly obtain the required information and off to Waypoint 2. Waypoint 2 was also found very quickly and with no issues.
Waypoint 3 was another story. Due to all the rain we have had the path to Waypoint 3 was completely under water. I would have had to walk completely to the other side of the lake and back track to reach Waypoint 3. I debated do I do the long walk or call it quits. After I started to do the long walk I got about 100M when I just decided.
"No, I'll just get my feet a little wet."
So I then trudged through the water to Waypoint 3. The water was probably ankle deep and there was no hope of trying to tip toe around it. I obtained the information at Waypoint 3 and calculated my coordinates for Waypoint 4. To my frustration I had to back track a bit, which of course met trudging through the water again. However, I guess at this point my shoes were already soaked through.
Once I got to Waypoint 4 I was greeted with more water. I was really confused at Waypoint 4 as well as the area was flooded, but no Emergency Marker in sight.
"Could it be underwater? Did the storm blow the sign over?"
After about 15 minutes of looking around I turned and noticed a structure about 20M away with an Emergency Marker on it. I wondered if they moved it as this area looked like it was under works any ways. Well I took the risk and used this information to obtain the information for Waypoint 5.
Luckily it was correct as I was greeted with another Emergency Marker at my calculated coordinates for Waypoint 5. It was then quick work to get the final coordinates to GZ and once at GZ it was a nice quick search before the cache was found and the logbook signed.
Thanks for the wet fun adventure today and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
All of the signs that were required to be used to gather the required information were in good shape. The area had definitely suffered from all the rain we have had lately, but GZ was nice and dry. The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

A great multi that took us on a lovely walk round the park. Co ords were spot on. Thanks!
As I had to head over to Ringwood this morning to drop something off, I used it as a good excuse to a get a few more metro LGA’s as well and after today there will be only on more metro one to go.
A nice foggy and chilly start this morning but when the sun decided to rear it’s head another beautiful Melbourne day especially after all of the rain we have had recently.
Third one for the day and a great park for a walk of which there were plenty of people out and about doing the same thing.
Still pretty wet under foot and when my phone finally decided to settle down I was able to zero in on the GZ.
Cache out in the open so I covered it up with a bit more camo when I left.
Thanks hi pressure and Cache Guardians TFTC.

Seems like we are spending a lot of time here at the moment. Glad there are a range of caches for us to find. This one fills another hole for us in a couple of challenges. Thanks for the cache.
Yep, we are back again. We are using the varied caches here to fill in gaps in challenges that we are attempting to complete. Glad they are here for us to find but so hard to only pick up one per visit. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
With the new year upon us (and a public holiday to be appropriately made use of), buhfuhguh and I made an impromptu trip to kick off a year of caching in an area ranging all the way from Scoresby to Officer.
There were plenty of finds with lots of walking to accompany them, though plenty of fun was had as always, notwithstanding the fact that I foolishly didn't apply sunscreen and ended up with a less-than-pleasant sunburn afterwards!
I've noticed these emergency markers in the past and, while thankfully I haven't had to use them, it's quite interesting to note their existence.
We took a walk around with all of the information being very easy to grab and the numbers for the final were in our hands soon enough.
We headed around to gz and I spotted the cache in the obvious location.
The logbook was signed and I grabbed the trackable inside.
Thanks to hi pressure for placing this multi and Cache Guardians for maintaining it!

Another day out and about with Brainiac03 today as we go out for a very impromptu and sporadic day out caching with no real plan or guide to tell us where we are going. Just picking caches that we're nearby or interesting to keep up going. With roughly 24 found including a couple fun multis we were happy with today's work with no DNF's. A nice cool day after some swelters all in all had fun, Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

Yessss I found it. Lots of waypoints, lots of mistakes waiting to happen. But not today, found all the markers, found GZ and spotted thw cache. Safely in its place! Thanks for the cache and for the walk around Jells park and the lake. It’s been a beautiful morning and I’m glad I came out here today. TFTC

Out cycling in the sunshine from Dandenong and decided to do your multi. All waypoints worked well and the info and calcs were performed. Geowife decided she needed a coffee and something to eat so we stopped halfway through.
After some lunch we picked up the trail again and was soon at GZ. Cache was well covered up, log signed and all back safe as found.

Jells Park is the perfect place for a bit of exercise .. so many walking trails .. today I had the opportunity to pick up a couple of caches before the rain started .. thanks hi pressure for placing the cache.. coords are spot on.
spent a fun day walking around the park, gathering the information and looking for caches - TFTC
Nice walk around the park today during our exercise period. So many people around!
Despite an arithmetic error, we worked our way around and enjoyed the walk in the park during the first day of lockdown. TFTC!
It was a spur of the moment decision to tackle this multi today. Arriving late in the afternoon, we got straight down to business, only to fail at WP1. Half an hour later, I resorted to a PAF and we were back in the game.
It was a longer walk than expected but an enjoyable one. We took the opportunity for a little rest while we calculated GZ and from there, it was a nice quick find.
Thanks hi pressure and Cache Guardians.

Sometimes it takes two goes and I wonder how on earth I got it wrong in the first place. Luckily within the 5km radius to get some exercise on the trusty bike late in the day. Big dark clouds are brewing a storm but what’s a few rain drops. Goods located and in good order. TFTC
Headed out to Jells for a bit of a stroll with Trailstevo to clean up the area. Been a while since I’ve been here and with a few newish cache they circuit was complete. Found three trads and two multis, and finally Emergency Marker is complete. I had about 3 false starts on this one, not sure why I struggled before, seemed straight forward today. Thanks for the adventure.
One of my favourite places for a stroll and always thought the markers would be cool for a cache. Tftc!
After a leisurely stroll collecting the waypoints and some calculations we found the cache. But it was open and unhidden at GZ. All the pieces were there though.
We signed logbook, and put in some TBs and took the one there with us.
Thanks hi pressure!

The first geocache with the new doggo. She was a bit exhausted because it was her longest walk ever. Left a trackable that I got when I was in Japan. TFTC
Today we found Emergency Marker Cache on our travels. Having dropped the youngest Earthbound off at an escape room earlier for an adventure we decided to have one of our own. A quick find right where we expected it to be.
Thanks hi pressure for being part of our geocaching fun.

I wasn’t intending on finding this cache today but I found that I was driving right passed the start of this one and I did have a helpful bit of equipment on board plus I should of found this one a long time ago.
I headed off collecting all the waypoints and then on to GZ where the cache was spotted quickly from a distance away as it was just sitting there totally uncovered, the log was signed and the cache was replaced with a bit more cover on it
**Thanks to hi pressure for placing this cache and to the cache guardians for keeping it in order.**

Staying with my parents while in Melbourne and my (muggle) dad suggested we walk the dog somewhere and I suggested Jells park and a multicache. I had forgotten how much my dad disliked geocaching and so he whinged at every stage. He also whinged when I asked him to do the simple math and wondered “how much further is this?” more than once.
However, at the final, it was he who found the cache and smiled at his achievement. I gave him some lollies as a reward and we wandered back to the car content.
This was a lot of fun. I haven’t been to Jells park in 30 years, since playing netball as a teenager. Great little (educational) multi. But may have been more fun alone.
Thank you for the cache! Let TB and pathtag.

This is a cache I had been eyeing off for years, but never seem to get around finding. Today was a beautiful day and with a kid's party drop off around the corner it presented an opportune time to get out there in the sunshine. This involved more walking than I thought, but in the end, I had the cache in hand without a hitch. Many fond memories of this park as a young hid. After making the find I collected the clues to the other multi nearby but ran out of time to reach GZ to claim the prise - will be back for that. tftc
Quick. Easy find after a nice walk in the park. On a not to hot day thanks for the cache hi pressure

A perfect day to take a walk in the park and a perfect excuse for grabbing a cache too. Thanks for the cache hi pressure.
It's not too hot, it's not too cold. A good day to take a walk and find a multi! Thanks for the cage hi pressure!
After some frustration a couple of months ago here, today I found the first number without too much trouble due to the updated coords (thanks Cache guardians). After that it was a pleasant walk through the park picking up the required numbers. At GZ I made the quick find and was off and away. TFTC!
I decided to head to Jells Park today as it has so many multis in it. I couldn’t find waypoint one, so I PAF of the previous finder who put me on the correct path. I walked a lot, and got very wet feet doing this one as some paths are flooded. Thanks so much for maintaining this cache Cache Guardians.
Found this one this afternoon while in the area and made the most of a pleasant walk through the park. The required numbers were gradually acquired and found a nice little spot to sit down and work out the final co-ord's. Headed off to the gz and after a short search I soon had the cache in hand, thanks hi pressure and the Cache Guardians for the nice little multi and the good sized cache container.
Yesterday I jumped on the bike for the first time since July and it felt good to be out and about. Today I felt like I had to get out and I focussed in on 4 multi's around Jells park. I knew that they would send me all over the place...A great chance to get a bit of exercise.
It is embarrassing to say that the two times I have attempted this I have struggled at WP1 until I actually read the description properly. After that it was quite straight forward yet very enjoyable. A quick find at the GZ. TFTC.

#1456 - 6.15pm
Found in deepening twilight.
This was a challenge.
Struggled to get started as the first bit of information eluded me.
So I had to think my way laterally through this one.
Discovered the cache almost immediately... probably aided by the open container and scattered contents making it a simple find.
Nothing was missing or damaged aside from the original logbook being a slimy wet mess. Didn't have a replacement so I scratched my name in the back and replaced with extra camo.
It's hard to tell how much is enough once it gets dark!
Thanks hi pressure and Cache Guardians.

This cache wasn't on my radar at all today. Probably because I don't really think about geocaching much anymore. But I'd been relaxing in Jells, making the most of the unseasonably warm weather when a coincidence struck me - and I followed the White Rabbit to a nearby geocache!
Well, now here I was. Passing by the starting coordinates to this cache. It's a cache I have been aware of ever since I began geocaching, but I never stopped by to check it out for one reason or another. And knowing how little I cache these days, I probably never would. So it was a case of 'now or never'!
The sun was setting, and despite the ample light, I couldn't get a fix on anything that would help me decode WP1. There wasn't a 6-digit number anywhere.
The warm weather had brought many muggles to the park this evening. So many cars drove past me while I paced about and scratched around the park entrance. I must have looked rather odd. But despite all my efforts, there was nothing here to help me move on to WP2.
So, in true Welder style - I brute forced it!
I noted the theme and went searching deeper into the park. My route back to the car was taking me that way anyway, so why not see what I could see?!
I thought laterally and discovered some thematic objects...
I played with some numbers...
Some results were nonsensical and easy to ignore. Others showed compelling promise. There are 5 waypoints listed in the cache description - I needed only 3 to find a reasonable GZ (only 2 if we discount WP1, since it was missing).
I had to wait some time for a gap in the muggle traffic before I had a chance to leave the path unseen. All the while, the daylight faded and the evening gloom grew stronger. A delicate crescent of the moon appeared above me in the twilight.
On approaching my suspected GZ, I discovered the cache almost immediately... probably aided by the open container and scattered contents making it an inadvertently simple find. Nothing was missing or damaged aside from the original logbook being a slimy, wet mess. Didn't have a replacement so I scratched my name in the back and replaced with extra camo. Couldnt even find the first marker today! Not sure if Im an idiot or if something has happened to the marker......will investigate and watch!
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day. Nice weather for us to hunt. Puzzle solved. Found it. Thanks hi pressure for the multi cache.
Lovely Sunday morning walk. Found all but one of the waypoints. At one of them it was obvious where the sign was but was missing used geo initiative and managed to solve, find and sign. TFTC
A planned meet up with Riddell brought us to this park to complete as many of these multis. This was number four for today. After a bit of a stroll and gathering the necessary information it wasn’t long before we were signing the log. TFTC
It all started with a plan...
Together with Jascat, the objective was to do as many of the Multi caches around Jells Park as possible after work, starting at approximately 4 pm.
After finishing GCMJT8, Left, Right, Jelli-mite, GCA904, Weathermans wanderings and GC2C219, Barking up another tree, this was number four for the afternoon.
We followed the instructions carefully and after a short stroll, we surprised ourselves and managed to locate the cache in the dark. Cache is in good condition.

Talk about multi tasking multi’s. Training at Netball Jells Park. Dad taxi so took the mountain bike to ride around which I’ll do again as I love this area. Decided to tackle hi pressure ‘s multi then half way through started the second one since I seem to be darting everywhere looking for signs and numbers -why not overlap. Did both in just over an hour and 40 mins in time to ride back, log and pick up the geokids Barking mad this one in the end and the 000 could have been used for an emergency if I came across a snake. One way ward was tricky but realised I was right. And thanks for the park bench close to GZ where I worked out last coordinates. Very enjoyable afternoon and bike helped get around. Thanks hi pressure -this cache has lasted!
A typical spot for a hi pressure hide.. tftc Started To Search At The Wrong Tree But Soon Spotted It As There Was No Camo.. Covered With More Camo
Wanting to test out my surgically enhanced leg on a bit of an extended geocaching ramble I found myself at Jells Park on a brisk afternoon. Observing the usual number of dog walkers, joggers and parents with small children I went about collecting the various bits of information required.
As biggles1024 previously commented, a number of familiar and unfamiliar places were visited and whilst his comments re the hint corresponding to the actual hide gave me pause I could see the clear geo-trail beckoning me to the hide. A logical spot meant the duties were done and I was back on my way to the car shortly after arriving at GZ.
Thanks to the Cache Guardians for keeping the cache alive.

**Find #2650**
**Multi Cache Find #269**
I headed out to Jells Park to take advantage of this glorious winter's day. The sun was shining and only a gentle breeze blew. I made my way around the waypoints of this cache, visiting some new places and re-visiting a number of quite familiar ones. At one waypoint, three elderly ladies were trying to work out how to take a 'selfie' with an iPad and having given up, asked me to take their photo. I was happy to oblige.
With the co-ords for GZ calculated, I made my way there. A likely object was found, but the location didn't match Hi Pressure's hiding style. I looked anyway and came up empty handed. The hint didn't help because too many objects matched. I scouted the area and fairly quickly found an object that matched the hint which was in a location that matches HP's hiding style and was rewarded with the cache.

Thank-you to Cache Guardians for placing this geocache
Co-ords for GZ recalculated and formula updated accordingly. Container and log are in great shape. Hint still applicable. (MD)
Last week on a crisp winter's day, I attempted this cache. It's a great idea and it's made me more aware of emergency markers - I've always noticed them but now I know more about them. My calculated GZ was in the carpark, but nothing really matched the hint, and it was now quite dark, so I accepted defeat. Once home I checked my notes and I'd made a stupid maths error!
So back today, I picked up Weatherman's Wanderings, then came back for this one. Once again I was losing light fast, and couldn't find anything, but I knew I was in the right spot based on a previous finder's photo. Thanks to atsmug's log, I widened my search and found it!

A nice multi that took us for a walk just the right length (not too far). As others have mentioned, GZ coordinates were a bit out but after sussing out the surrounds found a likely hiding spot and sure enough, there were the goods! TFTC.
With son having friends over it was time for us to get out, with MW suggesting to me - I'm sure you have somewhere we can go" so Jells park it was, taking the dog for a walk too. I had gathered the first few waypoints a few weeks ago, and today just grabbed the last 2 and then a hunt at GZ, after coming up empty handed I read the previous log about coords a bit out and then a systematic search began with the cache being found safely a little bit north of zero. Thanks for the multi
Today we left our nomadic hometown (all caches found) to head to Melbourne (cache heaven) for a long weekend , to party with so many caches that would take years to clean up, even if you lived here.
Working our way through some of the multis in this lovely park , we started with this one. Once we had all information we made the quick find at GZ but struggled to get back on the path due to the endless people walking, running and riding past.....we did not want to be seen coming out of the bushes as it were
Thanks Cache Guardians for keeping this one alive.

We came this way on New Year's Eve trying our luck with number
The team, AdventureNauts, saw one string and
Trudged off, but confusion did encumber.
A jaunty stroll and a conversation raised enough alarm
Just as well, we were almost to the place called Chesterfield Farm
A second attempt for attempting this cache, we came this way again.
With our boots laced on, a glint in our eye and
A more accurate reading on our second try
Gave us a waypoint that was not so awry
We set off, heads held high and soon came to an obstacle, alas
A water deterrent, the depths of which were unknown
Without paddle or board, and a fear of being eaten by a bass
A detour around was quickly devised
And worth keeping in mind as advised.
The waypoints kept coming, definitely more than one
Our numeracy was spot on, adding, subtracting and
Working out the answers, it could almost be said maths was fun
Over the Bridge of Many Returns, we traipsed - well, some of us
To find the elusive cache; it was well worth the fuss
When finally, at long last, the GPSr said, 'Just over there'
Moving into scrub, bracken, and twigs, we left the beaten path and
Spent some time getting close to nature, and said a quiet prayer
Today it was found that sometimes the co-ords can be slightly off
But perseverance and team-work will lead to the cache payoff.

Was great to be out with Jentrek1 on this rainy boxing day. Lots of people out in the park today. Fun cache and nice size container.
Cheers for the cache

Out with horsehooves on this great spring day. Great Multi got us out of hibernation. Thanks hi pressure. Our gps put the GZ out by 23 metres so the hint really helped.
We had previous attempted to start this cache but had missed the key numbers. This time we actually found these quite quickly. Not sure how we missed these. Anyway off to WP2 and after a walk through the park we arrived at GZ. The search actually took some time and we resorted to the hint which initially did not help. But eventually after widening the search considerably we found the container. This was about 15-20 m from GZ - so not sure if this was due to the weather, trees or our GPS. But all good in the end. TFTC
Had us moving around a bit but when we got close Kay sniffed it out in a flash.
Thanks Cache Guardians.

Nice arvo walk with family. Lucky for the pics as we were maybe 10 metres off the actual coordinates. Was a nice cache with few exchanges... TFTC
Found this while out and about with N0W0RRIES finding another multi in this park. TFTC.
Beautiful morning for a walk in the park, and plenty of others had the same idea, while others were on their bikes. Took a while to find the first mark as I got distracted, but then closer examination got me off and walking to the next waypoint. The trail was shorter than I expected given the size of the park. Arrived at GZ and then the hunt was on. It took a bit of bush bashing and a blackberry prickle, because as others have reported the coords are well off. So the hunt took a while as I investigated multiple possibilities before finally claiming the well covered prize. TFTC

Yet another great urban cache.
I took a while to get started but once on the trail everything just flowed nicely.
With a huge moon rising and not many lights in here, I had the entire park to myself tonight, if you don't count the startled geese, multi millions of mozzies and midgies, some huge orb spiders hanging around that I'm grateful I didn't walk into. A few grey kangaroos and untold strange noises (hopefully just frogs) coming from in the marshes.
Arriving at GZ the hunt was on...
After a while I resorted to the hint and a few past logs. Shortly afterwards I spotted the nice sized cache. Signed the nice clean dry log book, refitted a clip that was on the ground nearby, left a pathtag and replaced the cache where I found it.
Thanks for the adventure hi pressure.

I think there are cachers for whom this sort of multicache would be the most onerous thing ever, but I quite enjoyed it. I have vague memories of visiting Jells Park at several disparate points of my life, but not to do anything like this. Nonetheless several locations induced childhood flashbacks. The initial code and all the markers were found with ease, such that it just became an enjoyable long-ish walk in the park. The cache itself was nice and dry although it seemed a fair distance from where I was expecting it to be. I was perhaps lucky that it wasn't terribly well concealed. I tried to improve on that situation upon leaving. Thanks hi pressure!
TFTC. It took several attemots to retrieve the important first six numbers. It took part time muggle/part time cacher daughter to find the elusive number. We left it until after th weekend to attemot a walk through Jells Park without attracting attention. A lovely Monday morning stroll collecting waypoints and eventually the cache. As others have noted it is 20 metres from the designated co-ordinates. We were surprised by the number of people wandering through the park on a Monday. Maybe they have found that work is over rated .
I had a lovely walk around the park today and managed to integrate the WPs for this cache along the way. It was a nice straight forward multi in the end. As I was approaching the GZ area I had a bit of a scout around where the coordinates were directing me. Nothing seemed to stand out so I re-read some of the logs and remembered comments that the coordinates are out. I was soon able to narrow down where to look and had the cache in hand. Considering it hasn't been found for a while, all is in good order. TFTC!
Woo! I finally found it! Today was the third time I've been to the starting point, and the first time that I've managed to find the required numbers. As others before me have said, I don't know how I've missed them before, as they jumped out at me today. As the hint says, not the obvious, and to add to that, it wasn't there before cache placement. Made my way round to the various waypoints, and then over to GZ. Crashed around in some undergrowth for a while, sat down, read some logs, and was reminded that the cache is 20m north of the calculated coordinates. Signed the log, and went off to find another cache. Thank you hi pressure for the excellent walk, and well done on utilising some different markers.
Thanks for the stroll around the park on a sunny but cold winter's day. At least there were less muggles around, though wasn't expecting one around GZ.... keep an eye out in all directions! Our coords were also out by 20m. tftc
Found this one over three days in my lunchtimes, the first day I went out to get the fist coords, I had tried to find this one last year but with no luck, this time I found the numbers nice and quickly don't know how I missed them last time, then it started raining so I headed back to work.
The next day I came down to find WP1 and WP2 but then had to leave as I had a call from work.
Today I said to myself today is the day I complete this multi, so I found WP3 and WP4 but there were muggles everywhere near GZ so I had to come back on my way home, no one around at 5:20 and found the cache quickly but as past logs say its about 20m north of the coords.
Thanks for another great cache hi pressure

Wonderful stroll around the lake and surrounding wildlife is beautiful. Nice hide but compas jumped around a little and we looked a little outside the range to find . TFTC
A wonderful afternoon stroll around the park with 88andy88. After extending the search range a little, finally found the cache. Thanks
Found at 14:43
I came here this afternoon to do as many waypoints as I could of the few multis here. I worked out the three I hadn't found but this was the only one I managed to pick up.
After I had a nice long walk around and collected all the info I made my way to gz where I found nothing. After expanding my search area I eventually found the cache about 15m north of where the GPS said it should have been.
Thanks hi pressure for the cache.

Today was my day off, the sun was out and temperature was perfect to go outside and get some exercise. Revisited this cache to knock this off my 10km list. Last time I visited, I couldn't find the coordinates at WP1 and walked away with a DNF. Since then however, Vanessa@Aodh generously sent me some hints to help locate the numbers. Armed with this info, I visited the cache and quickly found the necessary information.
Subsequent WP's were quickly calculated and enjoyed the walk through this fabulous park. Kids were swimming in the lakes, people were walking their geodogs and even saw a couple with a tent pitched. Not sure what that was about but passed a park ranger driving their way...
Anyway like others, found cache 20m north of calculated GZ. SL, visited personal TB and replaced. Appreciate the cache!

...back again! With more suitable transport (bicycles) for all of the family we're ready to continue after having worked out where WP2 is. A fun ride back and forth and around the lake brought us to GZ. Well, near GZ. The cache is 20m due north of the final coordinates.
A reasonably hot day, and a nice Sunday after Christmas for families to picnic at Jells Park. I, on the other hand, was on a mission. I'd found WP1 after lots of searching when I was here earlier in the year with Hera. She made the sneaky find, but by that time the kids were fed up and we left it. This week after Christmas I've been on a spurt of finding nemesis caches, and while this wasn't quite like that, I did have the numbers and I thought I'd go and do the multi while it was such a nice day.
I found all of the WPs really easily, mainly because I used a calculator instead of my feeble maths brain. After a wee walk, I'd found GZ. As mentioned in other logs, there has been a bit of a disaster here. The cache wasn't where it said it would be in the hint, and other cachers have noted that it's 20m away from GZ. It was. I only found this out after about a 20 minute hunt, fearful of snakes, but determined that my walk in the sunshine wasn't going to be unrewarded by a cache. After reading a few recent logs I tried a few tricks and finally found the cache.
Thank goodness! I signed and scurried out unharmed.
A really nice multi that is simple enough once you find the first numbers. Thanks a lot hi pressure.

Finding this cache has been years in the making. Some time ago I collected the info at WP1 but ran out of time to complete. Now that we were back in Melbourne for Christmas I had to finish this one off.
We went straight to WP2 and continued through the other WPs, wandering around Jells Park. Lovely day to be out walking too. Found the last piece of information, calculated the coords for GZ but had to call it quits as we ran out of light. Returned on anther day and found what others have mentioned about GZ.
Not sure if it was a case of cache creep or what, but it is certainly some distance from the calculated coords. However, the clue is still accurate. Found the cache exposed and re-hid it a little better.
Glad to have closure of this multi finally. Found RockChick71, Pinkgamr and geogollum.

Visited GZ after work with high hopes of completing this cache before the sun went down. Unfortunately couldn't get started as I could not find the numbers necessary. Like others saw the obvious sign but that had me leaving the park by 1.7km. Tried to follow the hint but was unsuccessful... Another time.
I attempted to find the first set of numbers a few weeks ago with a grumpy geotoddler in tow and had no success. I was child-free later that week and returned - I found the hard-to-find numbers! I guess the best way is to treat them like they're a cache themselves and look in hidey places. I must confess some scallywagging went on next - I used a hard-copy reference to find out the remaining clues rather than walking around. Today I was able to make my way to gz without a child or dog accompaniment and proceeded to get to gz. Uh oh, a huge tree has collapsed, crushing a few others and making a blooming big mess of bark. I searched around here as best I could, approached from another angle and was about to give up when I decided to widen the search. I walked to the opposite side of the destruction, ended up finding some regular camouflage about 20 metres from gz and uncovered the cache. TFTC hi pressure!
