Logs
I was wandering around like a headless chook when one of the church goers pointed out where the cache was TFTC
Found it! Not in the first or second place I looked, but after reading a few previous logs I expanded my search area and found it in the first place I looked. Its a great morning to be out and about finding caches! TFTC!
Used BradKats co ords here today after not being able to find anything at GZ, cache nicely hidden and is all good
Today with an event on in Mt Barker I set off early in the day for a full days caching. Starting in loberthal and making my way through the towns and back roads as I went. Managed to get 55 finds and see 3 brown snakes at caches.
Thank for the cache

Parked the car in the middle of the road and GZ was there, looked through the old logs and found what I needed.
It paid dividends to read previous logs. We then used that information to locate the cache in a good hide. As reported by others, the cache was 10m from the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks BrukungaNungas for the cache.
Revisited the other logs really helped for clues. Thanks for this cache, we left a packet of mixed jewellery:)
round 1 was a quick look in the truck on a fatigue break, looked the wrong way ( i knew the co ords where out by 10 - 12 meters ). Round 2 was today. Looked the other direction ( between the road drain and driveway drain ) and found the cache.
It's mad may. I have to get 15 multi's on calendar day's in may and that month only has 31 days. Plus i started my multi calendar mid last july so there is not any close multi's left. Started with 149 calendar days and now down to 46 days left.

I was helped by previous logs. I did think that what looks like a recent development at GZ might make retrieval very difficult, it’s actually quite easy.
Thanks for bringing me to a part of the hills I’ve not been to before.

The Adder was honoured to be invited out by two lovely ladies. A Rat and an Owl to grab a few hides in and around the Mount Barker area.
The Owl designated the Adder to be the navigator however she was not one to follow the directions given and had her own idea of how to get to the various Ground Zero's, quite often taking the wrong turn or the long way around.
There is no way we could have found this if it were not for the previous logs. The given co ords are some 10 meters or more away. TFTC

Yesterday while speaking to brisal5, he mentioned a walk along the Amy Gillett bikeway between Charleston and Woodside and as I hadn't done many of those caches, I asked to join him[?][^]
Rex and I had a sad drive through the Cudlee Creek, Gorge Rd and Lobethal area to Woodside as we saw how much damage had been done by the fires [xx(] along one of my most travelled motorobike ride routes and it sure does not look like it used to [xx(]
During the walk with brisal5 he replaced 7 out of 11 geocaches as they had been burned! [xx(][^][:X]
By the end of the day I had 22 smileys from 1 attended Welcome TDU Cachers 2020 event and 21 cache finds. Sadly there was also 2 DNFs as a result of the bushfire in the area [xx(]
Although that was really 3 DNFs but 1 was my own cache and Mogni kindly [:X] gave me a spare container so that I could replace my burnt Creek Views cache [^]
I also managed to finally find 2 previous DNFs and so that made me smile even more [^]
This (and the previous cache up the road) were previous DNFs amongst long grass and soursobs and puddles here too
Today, the find here was exceedingly quick and easy
I'm sure that pile of cuttings was HUGE when I came previously and the creek was been wet
The dry today made the find easy: there's a drain so step down, look around and yep, I wasn't stumped anymore

Another Thursday out with Doctor Owl and sushilord and we headed for the hills so Owl could complete some maintenance as well as finding a few caches along the way. [^]
This one took us a while, but after reading some previous logs and widening our search the cache was found.
Thanks for the cache BrukungaNungas.

Owl's last caching expedition in Australia, so she thought she'd make it a maintenance run. With friends. And extra caching. And some DNFs off the books. All in all, a great day out with JJ52 and Sushilord! This was looking like a DNF, but a wider search and getting down and dirty prevented them from being stumped.
Took a while but eventually I made my way to the drain and made the find.

Tried several spots including the coordinates provided by other cachers. I think this needs some attention, especially the coordinates provided by the CO
Coordinates all over the place. Checked activity and got some clues to the location. Found it, at last. Tftc.
Found @ 10-30am with Poppadon. Good hide, quiet spot, sun shining, nice views. TFTC.
Found after a tricky lock search - thanks getrightwithgod for your helpful blessing!
Found while out hunting my usual traditionals in the Nairne area. Was a good day, 29 trads, 2 puzzles but also 2 DNFs.
Co-ords over 10 meters out so have included my take on some better ones.
Thanks for the cache BrukungaNungas

So, once withered tree was a no go, I resigned myself to going for a longer drive. I had spotted this one on the map when I did the fifty bob one nearby, so I knew it was around. It took a bit to find, and ended up being 12-17m away. It is a neat spot to hide a cache though! Montana says the coords were S 34 58.448 and E 138 55.425 at GZ. Nice spot, worth a fav.
Great hiding spot! Coordinates not very accurate, but it's not that difficult to wander around and locate. Tftc
Had to widen the search area a bit, but after a short search located the cache tucked away in a good spot. A surprisingly old church here! TFTC
Omg omg OMG WE FINALLY FOUND IT YAYAYAYAYAY TOOK AS A WHILE FINALLY OMG THE BEST HIDING SPOT THO
Similar to others, the coordinates were putting me a fair way away from where it was found.
Thanks for the cache BrukungaNungas. Found on 27 Feb 2017 at 1:40 pm. Find #3976.

Found with vj187. A lovely day to be out caching. Had given up and were driving off when vj187 spied it in its hidey hole. TFTC
Finally after a week or so of biblical weather the sun came out. So I grabbed the GPS and headed for the hills .
Thanks for the cache!
We were being driven around by brisal5 finding some local caches, it is so good to have a local for our driver. There were many spider webs to fight our way through, I left this to the men, they are so brave. I did return the cache container as they were gone by then. SL TFTC
Today we are off to the TDU event at Hahndorf so we decided to leave a little earlier and grab some caches along the way as one does : ) a quick find as we passed through here, coords had us in the middle between objects but after being a bit Stumped we soon had cache in hand. TFTC
Found out with BearyOrganised on the last day of the year very hot day. TFTC TNSL Left TB.
Found it with CherryRose on the last day of the year .Good hide. TFTC TNLNSL.
A late afternoon getaway for a few caches with Mattycat, another cache we did not find by torchlight last visit with a flaky sat lock but in daylight it was quickly secured and signed, all quiet at GZ today TFTC BrukungaNungas
Out for an evening's caching with the Froghoppins.
And why, just why, didn't we see that last time!
Happy to cross off the list.

This was great little spot which we enjoyed. Unfortunately we lost phone reception so was flying a bit blind. Searched and searched where the last location was being indicated until we managed to get a little reception and found out we were looking in the wrong area. Managed to pin-point the right area and found it right away. Only thing was the spiders seemed to have liked this spot as well! TNLN. Cheers.
Caching with Loulabelle994 and geodog, Mandy on this pleasant afternoon.
We were here for quite a while going here and there following the crazy GPS so I put the GPS away and looked in the general area. One last place to look. Obviously it was there. TFTC BrukungaNungas

Mr Tardis was in the area today and stopped by for a quick drive-by. However it took quote a bit longer as there were many places to search around the co-ordinates. I was about to give up and checked one last place and there it was looking at me. Quite a logical place for a cache when you think about it.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache BrukungaNungas.

Out with Mattycat for a day's caching and finishing a few up by torchlight, unfortunately we did not find this one tonight, limited with only candle power we failed will try again during daylight to see if we can find this elusive cache tilll then TFTC
Bit of a hunt here. Found a few spots that were maybe... but even widening the search considerably didn't help. Might come back in daylight. Watching
Found while geocaching with geohubby and friend tftc took coin will move asap
Found it while watching out for the Muggle at the church. Also was with KaykayRockstar.
Don't know what it has to do with a bike trail there isn't one anywhere near it ...The creek and church are the places best to be on a Sunday
Arrived at GZ but could not locate at first, just started to widen search when local couple who look after church came to get it ready for a service. Another time.
In Adelaide for a Christmas catch-up with friends and do some caching.... Brisal5 took me on a slight detour to buy some strawberries.
Thanks
Thanks
This one had us walking around in circles as we approached it from the wrong direction and didn't notice the obvious hiding place until we had just about given up. Didn't help that the satloc was all over the place, even with out normally very accurate Garmin GPS. TNLNSL, TFTCF
Work was a little slow so Mr M took the day off. Hmmm.... what could we possibly do?
This one was first of the day and what a great spot. It was very wet today and we had to be careful not to slip. TFTC BrungaNungas.

When we first looked at the comments that had been written we thought that we might fix it up so we found a container the same size and fixed it up. When we finally found it we checked to make sure it was really needing maintenance and it did so we swapped them around and unfortunately the items and log book were saturated we hope to dry out the 1st log book and return it to the cache asap. we also put some new swaps and log book thanks and there isn't any trackables.
We found the cache eventually, after spreading out the search a bit. There was some water in the creek, but no need to get the feet wet.
Unfortunately, the cache is still in a bad state of repair, but as there's already three unanswered "Needs Maintenance" logs, I won't waste time adding another.
Thanks BrukungaNungas.

I was headed to Strathalbyn to visit my auntie, who was stuck in hospital, so what a great excuse to make a day trip of it and get some caches on the way!
Sadly, I stopped at 26 caches but for various reasons, I only managed to locus cache at 19 , the rest were DNFs
Saw some amazing sights and dodged rain and hail all day.
Another DNF as I got to where I thought GZ was, saw where the tree that fell had been and looked and looked on both sides of the track.
Couldn't find a cache or even a plastic bag
