Came along with goingplaces2 and found what we wanted here. It took a little while as we did start out looking for a nano, which it is not. TFTC.
Found this cache while on a fun day out with ilook4geo. The cache was missed on the first try but reading some logs suggested another idea. It was then found and the log was duly signed with both names. It is definitely NOT A NANO. Thanks for this cache hide go to groovydoo.

Collecting a few caches today as we go for a bit of a drive north. So far they have been quick and easy grabs in some fun containers

A geocache hides in plain sight,
Its clever location, out of sight.
Muggles hurry past, unaware,
While geocachers pause and stare,
To claim the prize, with delight.

We stopped by GZ ready to have a good look, but we weren't expecting the number if cars going past. Certainly a lot busier than we planned on, but we managed to search around between c a rs and finally managed to find this sneaky cache. Luckily there were no cars as I don't know how we would have explained the position we ended up in to retrieve the cache.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found with MDT79 and Gum62 on so wonderful Geocache explore weekend from Port Macquarie/Taree to Glen Innes and Grafton via Old Grafton Glen Innes Rd TFTC
Found with Bek76 and Gum62 on our way back home after a great weekend doing some trails off the beaten track! Super nice to be off the main highway on the way home

Wow tricky one! FP for the type of hide as haven’t seen this one before

Found quickly by Mrs SKI.
Time to move on today, so we packed up and made a shortish journey to Grafton. There were a great series of caches on the old highway beside the freeway so we diverted onto it and picked up those on the way.
We set up camp at Jabour Park, a great basic camp and then headed out after lunch to do the Adventure Lab in town and also some traditional caches.
A good day for caching spoiled only a bit by the wind, but some interesting sights to be seen round this older town. We saw some remnants of the recent floods, but in general the town appears to have bounced back well.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache groovydoo.

Chooo ooo [found] - with Dty73 and aquilus1 on our road trip up north! Thanks groovydoo!
Day Two of our Caching Easter Trip
Tankengine, Aquilus1 and I were on the road again today and heading for the Queensland border.
Another day of fun and caching. We collected a whole lot of county finds, saw some amazing sights and had a lot of fun.
This cache: Not what I was expecting at all! Luckily it was a quick find as I have a hide similar to this so recognised it quickly. Nice work. Tftc groovydoo!!!

After the unknown of would we be able to get into QLD for the dayboro mega we continue north this morning knowing it was good to go. With dty73, Tankengine and myself we left Port Macquarie sadly without Flintstone's who had to fly back.
Thought we missed this one when the road we expected wasn't there! All good it was a bit past and we made it! Not the type of cache expected so looked a little longer than would be needed with the good hint.. Nice for something a bit different.

Quick find on the road back to Brisbans after heading to Nambucca Heads. Watch for redbacks
Nice hide. I thought the best time to find this one would be late at night after work. No road workers around to hamper my search and within minutes the cache was in hand.
Glad to see this one was relocated and not archived, I dropped in to see if I could make the find. I had a good look around and along, in and out, over and under, but can't or empty handed. Resorted to using the hint but it didn't help. Tried again, even risked moving some wine bottle rubbish in case it was behind it. Cleaned have after if course.
Maybe 3rd time lucky?

#3666 This place has lots of rubbish around, but luckily this cache was well hidden and what a great design too. Love it. TFTC.

Bunting says no. Car parked too close also. I might check in on my way back home.
A quick stop to stretch our legs, a quick cache and all is good with the world. Thanks groovydoo
I was traveling from my parents in the Tweed Valley to Coffs Harbour for a work meeting. They had a medical appointment so after morning tea I was on the road by 11:30. I had three goals today - all of which were achieved. Get 12 caches to get me to 2000 (it is a game of numbers really); extend my caches further east; and finally get my maximum number of "counties" greater than 4 (I had calculated that I could get 6 today). Had a rough plan and got a few extra to add, so in the end got 16 caches of 3 types (plus a couple of unregistered DNFs) and got the 6 LGAs and arrived before dark. Not certain I will get any more in Coffs tomorrow, but also picked up a couple of TBS as well (always a nice bonus).
Was interesting positioning my self in the hired Jazz to get to the u-turn lane - a truck behind me may have made me consider driving on. Looks like this one has a troubled history but was an easy find today - slightly bigger than a nano but still small enough to be potentially difficult at this location.

This area is covered in redback spider webs, not game to put our hands anywhere. Had a good look as the hint suggested but nothing found.
A quick drive-by while headed north today

Knowing that it’s not an Eclipse tin would’ve helped us considerably with this search! Gotcha you lil’ bugger! Do beware of all the redbacks at GZ Be certain of where you’re putting your fingers because they are everywhere. We liked the flora vibe that this bus stop has (see pic) .
We are on our way to attend a geocaching event at Di Morgans Port Macquarie. We enjoyed doing this cache. Nice hide. Thanks to groovydoo for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Stortigirls and I were on our way to Coffs Harbour for the night. We both needed a few caches to help with a particular challenge in Queensland, so decided to add them to our list of caches for this trip. There were several that fitted the bill. At GZ, we searched in the dark for some time before Stortigirls located the sneaky cache. TFTC
Found in the dark with Selva Girls on the way to Coffs Harbour. Took us a little bit of searching but found eventually. We like this hide; we think we might take the idea back to Brisbane with us Tftc groovydoo!
A quick find on a familiar hide nice spot to stop, had a cracker Pie from the little establishment 200m down the road.
Thanks for the hunt Groovydoo

A quick stop and grab just off the highway. Road work here so had to sneak around work men. TFTC.
In the Coffs district to find as many caches as we can before we head home after the Alice Mega.
We may sign small log sheets as CG.
Love the way these little ones are made.
Thanks for the cache groovydoo.

We had a need to change drivers - what could be more convenient than do do it here? This cache had us streching all our muscles before fionding the cache in a more easier spot than originally expected.
**# 14569** Found on our extended 2016 winter escape trek.
A much finer and sunny day for a trek northward to Qld.
No muggles around here today and a much trickier hide than a D 1.5 normally is.
Thanks for the cache groovydoo,

Thanks for the hint cause we searched that bus shelter for 30 minutes. Will call in again on our way to Coffs another day.
Oh dear what a bad start to the day. unfortunately we dropped the end of the cache and lost it, we spent ages looking but to no avail none of the caches we had matched so couldn't do anything. we think it is still usable if it is handled gently. We are so so sorry. Thank you for placing this cache. sl. tnln
Wanted to find this before it gets bypassed - removed all the spiders, eggs and webs, got down and dirty but no go. Onward we go!
Having nice day out geocaching with Wandering Me and her geofamily. Nice to find a cache in this spot. She had to drop the lid, then putting it back she dropped the cache. Time spent rummaginging around in the grass.

TFTC, 3rd time lucky, found cache in exactly the spot I had looked twice previously, I think it must move around a bit on the structure ???
I am making my way south today.
And there are a few caches along the way.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.
