Cache hasn’t been found in more than 12 months. One CO has 35 finds since 2010 and other CO has 25 finds since 2010. Hasn’t responded to multiple DNF notifications. Fair to say this CO is no longer active.
Jumped back and forth for a while, then decided to read previous logs. At that moment I realised it was pointless and drove away.
Staying at young
Due to the lack of caches I thought I would have s good search now the grass is flat and the possible snakes should be resting
If it is here I am stumped
Maybe next time

We searched to no prevail. May need to be checked to see if the cache is still there.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

I have a swimming carnival that starts at 2pm well why don't I caching around Young before hand. I'm guessing this one is here (because of the last few logs) but for me today a DNF as I couldn't find it in the 20mins of searching I did.
Excellent hide. Quite a few muggle campers, but well placed cache out of line of sight. TFTC
Found after going cherry picking at nearby Ballinaclash Orchard (and eating quite a few cherries along the way! ). Took us a few mins to find, but thankfully no need to go digging through leaf litter etc, its in a spot that is unlikely to get covered up. TFTC
I think this one was a bit harder to find than usual due to the recent rain and growth of greenery around GZ, however we persisted and came up with the goods.
This cache was found by our muggle friend who had joined us on the road trip to Bathurst. While eigththknox and I were hesitant and trying to find a path where the grass was shorter however muggle just dived straight in unveiling the cache without too much trouble. Maybe as eighthknox and I have both had snake encounters while on caching adventures could be an explanation on why we were a little reluctant but anyway TFTC
The long grass pit us off slightly but it was no challenge for our intrepid non caching friend who ended up being the one who made the find. Nanton and I applauded the effort and we were soon on our way back up to Bathurst. tftc
On a trip, with a friend, to Gooloogong, nsw, for a motorcycle night at the pub, we picked up a few caches. This was one of them. Tftc.
Continuing our trek to Wagga Wagga and to Kapooka for March Out, I planned to grab a few caches along the way. Muggle daughter pulled over at the GZ and with the weather drastically cooling off we scrambled over the rocks and MD spotted very quickly. TFTC
Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a geocaching mission to collect a few numbers for Fitzy_1965 as he has a mission to find 2000 caches this year. This mission was from Canberra to Borowa, onto Cowra, Young, Grenfell and back home. We travelled well over 700kms over 13.5 hours! I found 54 caches in total, my best ever daily total, and surprisingly 5 FTFs! Fitzy obligingly did all the driving and SpecimenX and I made most of the finds, although SpecimenX had her caching glasses on today and was quick to spot most of them. We had solved a few puzzles before leaving so we were well armed to collect both trads and puzzles. The rain/drizzle/mizzle did not slow us down and we had a great day of caching and laughs. We signed the logs as S A F I (for invasion) to save time in the rain!
44th cache of the day found at 1500. It was well and truly dark now and we were glad that SpecimenX had thought to bring a torch with her! But good coordinates meant the cache was in the first place we looked thanks THE CATIONS.

10902. Found with AngelG27 and specimenX ("SAFi" in most of the logs) on a day run up Cowra way.
With the bad weather down the coast postponing a planned run that way, a quick rethink had us planning this run instead. A early start had the three of us hit the Highway before 7.30 and not too long after we started our caching spree. Awesome run, with quite a few of the "History of..." puzzles solved and (all but one) collected, as well as 5 First To Finds making a great caching day with my new invasion buddies.
This was the next find for the day (night?), and thanks to good coords and specimenX's torch the girls went straight to it. Signed, returned, and it was off to the next one.
Thanks THE CATIONS !!

Plans were set in place with fitzy_1965 and AngelG27 for an "invasion" of several country towns between Yass and Cowra. We managed to dodge the worst of the drizzly weather to collect a decent swag of caches on what was a fun day with great company!
It was on dusk by now so out with the torch. Good coords meant for a quick find and sign for us
Thanks for the hide, THE CATIONS

After reading the description I was a little wary when approaching GZ but it proved quicker and easier than I imagined, no wildlife today. Cache can be easily spotted from the right angle but is all snug and dry. Swaps and geocaching note added TFTC
Quick and easier find than expected. TFTC
Travelling slowly homewards after a six month stay in Tassie.
Travelling slowly homewards after a six month stay in Tassie.
On my way to Grenfell and Cowra. Thought id stop quickly. . Been ages since ive done any caching. Tftc
On holidays and today travelling from Canberra to Grenfell and travelling through various towns. I apologise for the generic comments however, logging this after at home after my holidays were finished. All caches were great to find and thank you to all CO's for their caches and locations. If I wasn't a geocacher would I have visited some of these areas. TFTC
No snakes lurking around today - not even any muggles. Soon found and signed and back to the A/C in the car!
After our busy period with the animal minding business slowly coming to an end, a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild for an assault on the caches around the region. The weather was kind, warm and overcast.
We stopped in Yass to commence this assault and then moved further north to Cowra.
After Cowra we decided to have a go at the Harry Potter mini powertail. After completing that we slowly headed our way back to Canberra collecting caches scattered along the way.
Another quick find here and signing duties performed.

Plans were put into place with one party of the FurfacesLL team to do a country drive and pick up some caches in Yass, Cowra, Young and surrounds. We made plans to set off early and headed North for a long day of caching. After finishing off Yass, we headed further north.
We had now finished off what we could in Cowra, and finishing off the Harry Potter mini trail. After seeing the previous DNF, we were a little worried about this one. However FFLL went one side, I went the other and soon I had cache sighted and in hand.
Log signed, cache replaced and on we went.

As others have said there are a heap of places this cache could be and the hint doesn't exactly narrow it down.
Had a quick poke around but decided it wasn't worth our time to go through all these rocks and decided to carry on down to Holbrook.
Thanks!

Found at 1:02:00 PM.
An afternoon cache run while the rest of the family was at the dog shows in Young. I managed to get a couple of cherry pies and a kilo of cherries on the way. I'd recommend the place nearby which advertises cherries for $5 a kilo. Better than $12 a box.
The cache was found easily (thankfully) there could have been lots of places to search!
Thanks THE CATIONS and mltansey

Hi there THE CATIONS. We found your cache "Cherry Rocks" at 1:05:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 12007.
[Blue]
We passed through Young today, on our way to Cootamundra and decided that as the weather was reasonably sunny we like to make a dent in the local 'caches. We started off at a random cache and then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest, and so on. We ended up logging 13 and DNF'd 3.
Lots of tents (backpackers) here, camped for the cherry harvest.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Some people are suspicious of cachers so they take photos of cachers from their moving cars as they slowly crawl past!!! This was a fairly easy cache to find nonetheless. TFTC, THE CATIONS.
Found with my dad and brother on a caching day in the area escaping the rain in Canberra.

The last day of a loop that saw me visit Swan Hill, Balranald and Forbes before heading back to Melbourne.
Quick stop, passed the hiding spot once but eyed the cache after a short search.
Thanks for the cache!!!

Found on our way from Cowra, via Young for lunch to Temora tonight. (And ultimately home to Beaufort VIC tomorrow). We are glad its winter because we're sure the snakes would love these rocks. We kept our eyes open anyway. TFTC The Cations.
Heading south on our way home from Coffs Harbour. Found easily as I could see it poking out of its hole. TFTC
This one took me longer than it should have as I walked past it several times. It was in a very logical spot though.
Geo tracks galore.
Now that this treasure has a bit of tooth about it there was no difficulty here.
But it is a good one, especially to see the beautifully pruned trees growing nearby.
Young cherries.
Look out for those, bananas.

Turned up to a bit of a dingy area to see a muggle about. We'd skipped several caches already this trip, but fortunately the bloke headed off & a quick find was made.
With the weather yet to turn thought I'd squeeze another cache out of geo mom before she got tired. A scramble over the terrain at GZ soon had the cache in sight. Log signed & swaps made.

Pulled into the rest area, took the short walk to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. No problems and the cache is in good shape. Thanks THE CATIONS....
Hadn't had much time for caching on the TOWARDS trip as we'd been travelling late in the eveing however on the way home we had plenty of time to take a couple of road-side driving/caching breaks. Always a good way to break up the trip in my mind.

Very careful searching turned up the cache in quick time. Signed log and replaced without disturbing any reptiles.
Merry Christmas, short search until spotted the cache - signed the log. Thanks the cations
Even with the risk of bad weather, we headed out with Roostaman, to pick up some caches.
Parked close by for a quick find, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, THE CATIONS, for us and others to find.

Watched by the horse across the road we hunted for a while a amongst the sticky weeds. Finally came the blessed 'found it' call and we were glad to be able to leave the snakes and spiders in peace. TFTC
Quick find after short search #18 for our trip. Cache in good condition tftc
It was great to find this cache with a Turtle TB inside.

Found with Tassiegirl13 while down on holidays from Queensland.
A cache and a good excuse for a break in this nice little rest area.
It also looked like a nice spot to camp if you where a grey nomad.

There's one thing about dry weather conditions; it's real easy to see a geotrack in the grass. This cache was well hidden but it was soon in hand. TFTC TN and left a weroamin token.
found cashe in company of Gerry newgirl and weroamin, was quite easy to find this cashe because of the path leading right to it!
found in the company of geo grandson, Haydos & weroamin. spotted a regular tell tale and grabbed the cache quickly, a good place for a cache. tftc
Been visiting Young for work for the past month on and off and have found most of the local caches. Had to move on a bit further and came down this road to the rest area. A cachers' trail led straight to the likely spots and something gave the location away to a trained eye. Signed the old container and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
WSent with ynnbub to Young to do some shopping and thought we would get this one on the way. Nice hide tftc
We have been here several times but during the cherry season, only to find the area filled with cherry pickers. Thought I'd return today (hoping that the pickers we're all at work). The area was clear so we could search around without being detected. TFTC.
As I sit at Maccas in the cool filling out log I'm so thankful to be out of heat,a crazy 41 deg and climbing over those hot rocks is just a memory now
Took a little time to find as Mufftop101 wasn't going to give me a hand after getting blisters on her feet from all the Chrissy shopping she had to do
Even though coords were jumping all over the shop I found it back at the 1st place I should have looked
This place had been packed with pickers over the last month or so and was hard to get to,but thankfully they have moved on so in and out
Took TB will move him out to Temora or West Wyalong on Monday

We found it drunk we took a starfish and replaced it with an English £2 coin ring Amy hall Rachael Brooker Ben Dunklin Isaac Moore peace
Out caching on holiday with Martin&Fee +1 geokid. We all enjoyed clambering about to get to this one, nice hide. Took a dinosaur, dropped a Moshi pet. TFTC!
I knew there was a cache here; I saw it on the website. However the app on my iphone doesn't show it. We stopped anyway, but only had a quick look - family tired after a big day at a soccer carnival - they just wanted to go home! But I will most certainly return for a more thorough search!!
Took a detour from our usual route home from Harden to get a few caches out near Young.
I don't really like caches that are hidden in rocks, but I'm glad I had my GeoHusband with me, as he seems to have a nose for them. The GPS was a bit slow to respond, but with some patience it was quite accurate.
