No action on 'Needs Maint' from 6 months ago. Is it time to archive this one?
In view of previous logs even if this is still there (and I doubt it) it is in serious need of some attention. 21/1/2015
Had a really good search & could not find it. Beautiful Old Tree, well worth a visit.
As the below logs state, found the "treasure chest" but was completely empty everything including log is missing. Took photo as proof for CO
Found the 'treasure chest' but sadly it was empty. Everything inside has either blown out of it or been taken :'( will hopefully return with appropriately themed treasures

Found part of the log book, blown away by itself it grass but didn't look too far, didn't really want to walk in shrubs with 3 year old
Found it on the ground and most of the stuff was gone ( i think) put it together and place it where I think i shall be.
Went to find this cache with Mum & my little brother...I found this one! TFTC Da Dah
Was in the area today with my two boys when I decided to visit this spot... We took the time to walk the trails in the area & have a play at the playground before hunting some treasure The kids loved the little boardwalk and DangerMouse09 was quickly of the edge searching... He was in the wrong spot, so I had to redirect him before he soon came up smiling with two containers [^] I was a bit confused about that, but the kids were happy - they had one each to look through! TFTC Da Dah and thanks for showing me this spot
what a magnificent tree, once again in a lovely little park. Lot of awful grass seeds !!! TFCT
easy find for geokids. added a few more goodies to the stash. Log book needs to be changed. TFTC Da Dah

Nasty nasty mosquitos! A quick grab while we still had meat on our bones. Luckily there was no-one around to see the screams and wild waving from sugarygoodness, geotoddler and myself!
[:(!] Did a three day caching run to Mandurah with geowife to incorporate the event being held there "J & J Say G'Day to WA - (GC47DF1)", and picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them, after the event we were off in search of more caches before returning back to the Caravan Park just before Pinjarra, parked the geocar as close as to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ we had the cache in hand within a couple of mniutes.

Found after attending event with dnanx and geotoddler. Way too many mozzies here, so didn't really appreciate the spot. Had to race 3yo back to car after quickly signing log, so didn't get to swap anything.
Great easy cache for the kids, and we learnt about the 200 year old tree! Thank you
Way too many mozzies for us! Happy with the treasures tho. TFTC

Was out hunting with the kiddies when this looked like a great one for families. We all loved the tree and decided it was where Enid blyton had her inspiration from for the "enxhanted" tree loved the cache but unfortunately had to run for cover from the huge amount of mosquitos that wanted to eat us.
Took a day trip to Mandurah to visit family. Stopped to find a few caches in the area.
TNLN, thanks Da Dah for the cache.

What a wonderful afternoon we had thanks to you Da Dah !!
The description was great,
The location was beautiful,
Easy to find and lots of treasures for the kiddies (2 very happy little explorers!!)
Nearby playground has been renamed by my 5 year old as "Charli's playground"
.... a beautiful afternoon for the kids. Do try and get to this one with the kids if you can.
Very happy with the Play Doh, and hope someone enjoys the mini tennis ball.
Well done Da Dah.

And evening of geocaching with Jimlib nice easy find beautiful spot along with lovely houses! TFTC!
Found this one on a pleasant Saturday afternoon while out with the geowife and kids (the Mad & Pac of MadPac). Nice quick easy find with lots of toys for the kids to swap! This was our first foray into the caches in and around Lakelands, and we have heaps more to get to! Thanks Da Dah for the find, and the kids say thanks too for all the swaps available!
Happy Halloween ! Loved the tree, lots of bees though. Thought I would give up as could not find it and then there it was! TN. Left angry bird ball. SL TFTC Da Dah
Boys loving the hunt and the youngest found this one. Left a sheet of stickers for the next seeker.
Was a good find didn't take That long was fun yyyyeeeepppyy left toy car forgot to take pen..
Was walking around in circle for 5 minutes and then i spotted the cache. Left toy car but didnt take anything. Love the old tree...
In town for the WWFM IX event, so made a day of it with a few local caches.
After some frustration trying to find the new caches released after the event, we gave up on those and went back to the caches we had downloaded before we left home. What an amazing old tree!
The gold paint is beginning to wear in some places on the tin, and the clip lock bag needs replacing. If we'd had any in our kit, we would have left a new one.
TN, left toy car. Also dropped off Barrufet Frankeinstein TB.

Beautiful old tree. So glad that they kept it instead of mowing it down when they build the estate. Nice to see bit of natural history still standing even if it is a big ole tree....Last find of caches in the area near my folks place. Quite an easy find thanks to the clue. TN Left toy car.
Thanks Da Dah
Thanks Da Dah
Our very first Geocaching experience! Wonderful area and great cache. Thankyou! GeoPeachies
What a great tree. Stood admiring it and looking for the cache but couldn't see it. Turned our backs and things looked better. Thanks for showing us this spot. Left geocoin that we brought over from the UK. It wants to travel far and wide.
On a Sunday "clean up" run to find as many of the close to home caches we had yet to find. This was the 9th of 9 smilies of a possible 12.
What a magnificent tree and I like the board walk around it to protect the roots. A pity its not on the Mandurah Significant Trees register as I would have had it in my MST series of other trees in the Mandurah area..
Thanks for bring us here Da Dah and great to have a larger cache container with goodies in. We left one of our stretchy lizards which we know are popular stash for kids.

Oh well, suppose someone has to have the first DNF. Was aware that GZ was out, but a good hunt around and under failed to give Coast’n any success. Will be return another day and what a great specimen of a tree, awesome!!!
Dragged geoson out of bed this morning to come and find this cache, and hopefully a TB. Little Einor was safely tucked inside, will send him to a warmer place very soon. Also took Smurf and left red stretchy keyring. What a beautiful tree, thanks for bringing us here.

Yes, rather large tree, came cache hunting with Penguin Patrol and found the cache a little off our GZ. TNLN SL TFTH and bringing us here.
My GPSr insisted that GZ was at the entry but the cache was eventually found some metres away

Interesting old tree and we were surprised the learn about the use of the leaves for ant and bee stings. Although the coordinates showed the cache to be about 7m from where our GPS indicated GZ should be, the hint enabled us to make a relatively quick find. TFTC Da Dah
Day 43... Find No.11......Another cool Twee!
One thing I do like about the surrounding areas is that some of these magnificent tuart trees have been saved and framed!!!
Nice easy find

Out with Chwiliwr and FelixII today on a caching run through Mandurah.

a quick and easy find at GZ.

A caching run was on the cards for The Machman and FelixII today. We were to head to Rockingham with our hit list but after the car being broken into yesterday decided to head down to Mandurah and check likely dump sites and bins just hoping to find some of our stuff. Enlisted The Machman and Chwiliwr to help in the search and a full day's caching. Did this cache as we were weaving our way home. TFTC Da Dah
Found by the Ackermat family. The tin was out in the open, so you may need to relocate this one.
Found After falling off my bike, and getting attacked by numerous mosquitos
