We soon found the soldier, and calculated the coordinates. We then observed a string of DNF logs, but had a quick look anyway. It was pretty obvious where the cache should be, but it certainly wasn't there.
The kids were fascinated by the statue and a great history lesson. We were definitely in the right place for the final find but unfortunately it looks like it has been removed.
Out on a bit of a quick cache grab with the youngest members of TFM today.
Solved this one pretty quickly, and definitely ended up in the right place for the final (the clue fitted perfectly)
Had a pretty good look, but suspect that this one has gone missing.

Been here a few times but never stopped to do this cache. Today was the day- nice and quiet and able todo what was required quickly. Hunted around for a bit and then read hint and logs again. Had a closer look and then noticed half of a container with word geocaching on it. This needs maintenance and maybe a better hide
In Hamilton collecting a few puzzles with Philip.Perry that have been on our list for a while now in the rain today nice quick find here.

With a break in the weather the only thing I really had to do today was geocache. I had no plans so enlisted TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase in search of a worthy adventure. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point. A crazy day but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends.
This geocache was a nice little straight forward multi. We made short work of the wpt and enjoyed the short wander over to gz. The cache itself was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords but honestly the placement left a lot to be desired. Cheers cashkids, TFTC

The weather was looking perfect for a caching trip, so myself, Philip.Perry and Squirrel.Nutcase joined forces and decided to hit the Waikato area to try clear Squirrels map.
The multi was solved quickly and the cache found exactly as described.
Very busy day here today at the cemetery, but not over here.

I had noticed this multi before but had no intention of coming out this far. However, on a trip to Hamilton, I detoured to pick up a solved mystery then noticed a little cluster of caches in Newstead. The name intrigued me as I used to live quite near Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire, home of George Gordon, Lord Byron. So, being mad, bad and dangerous to know, I decided to investigate. This was a nice, quick little multi (The best kind..), leading to an easy find in good condition, not found for a while. TFTC.
I enjoy this type of multi...at first I thought it may be a problem as all the engraving was brand new , shiny as...but as I worked through the numbers and entered the co ords into the GPS it lead me to a likely spot ..the cache log was soon signed and returned thanks cashkids great we cache and most enjoyablewell done
I have avoided caches here as I am not keen on cemeteries. Today we detoured here to find a few caches so decided to do this as well. Nice simple multi. A muggle was parked close to gz but there was enough of a barrier to block his view of us. Nicely hidden. Thanks for the muliti cashkids
Paid respects to my Great Grandfather on the way to the monument. Quick solve.
There were a few people in the cemetery this morning but none in this area so didn't feel too subconscious scrambling around. That tap is certainly well positioned. TFTC!

Nice easy multi. Loved the info. Very interesting. Very pleasant well spread out cemetry.
Nice little multi, the required info was sorted and the cache was found.

Day #19 of 23 1/2 days in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Today’s rather short trip with mixed weather-conditions took me further up north from Mount Manganui [:X] to Hamilton .
Had to say goodbye to the beautiful Mount [:X], where I had spent two splendid days [^].
But I was also looking forward to visit Hamilton, as a personalized event was waiting for me there at the end of the day, organized by Cats&Dragons [^] .
Of course there were again some cool treasures hidden along the route and in Hamilton, that I loved to pick up .
Ended up with 12 finds , including a webcam , two great letter-boxes [^], a cute little multi-cache , several handsome traditional caches at the side of the road and of course "my" event in Hamilton.... Cool!
What a cute little multi cache!
A remarkable site [^], very peaceful !
And a nice little, clever hide! [^]
Hey - owners on the way up north and in Hamilton - you have cool caches [^] !
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining .
Cheers from Germany

I wandered around the cemetery today to find a couple of caches
And soon found the bloke in the "Lemon Squeezer" standing proud [^]
(I learned about the hat in Stratford at [GC3PNQM](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3PNQM_lt-col-william-malone-stratfords-hero-taranaki?guid=999dafb5-0b00-4eb2-8679-a4c521de9c58#))
The clues were quickly gathered and I had a set of coords to head for
And yes 'Agazo', I have the same problem with multis
This one did turn out right and I soon found the cache
A handy tap was also provided [^]
TFTC.
A fave point awarded !!

Finally a puzzle multi that actually comes out right! I usually have some issue with the puzzle and spend too much time searching at the wrong place, but not today. TFTC.
Interesting place. Found the necessary info and moved on to the cache site. No problem with that TFTC
Came out to visit the Great Grandfather's war grave and achieve this cache for a souvenir. Tftc
17/07/16 16:05 Seems ages since I've worked a Multi... Well placed hide... Found with respect, Lest we forget... Cheers, GC.
Our first multi cache. Located with Angelaj . Enjoyed being in the cemetery on a fine morning. Found grandads memorial on the remembrance wall.Hadnt been to the soldiers monument before.tftc
#11293. We enjoyed our visit to this large, leafy cemetery. A quick multi to start the (caching) day. TFTC.
Our week long Hamilton stay is over and today we are heading to Whitianga. No scenic detours today, just direct from A to B, with a few caching stops en route, of course.
We had driven past this cemetery the other day when we were heading to the Kiwi Icon trail. but we thought it best to leave the two caches here when we knew we had plenty of time and today we did. Didn't take long to sort out some co-ordinates and even less time to have the cache in hand.
What a nicely kept cemetery, thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.

Couldn't get gps to work so followed the clues and quickly found it. Good to do this one early in the morning when there are no muggles about.
Out and about with the geo kids in the holidays on a nice summers day. I have been to this cemetery a number of times but never been to this corner before. What a lovely place to visit. Worked out the next co-ordinates quickly and soon found the cache. TFTC.
last time I was here the cache wasn't, this time it was a quick and easy find, tftc
It didn't take us long to solve the multi and get the new co-ords, but on arriving at GZ we had a moment of concern when the cache didn't immediately show itself - then read some old logs and widened the search area a little and everything made sense. Thanks cashkids!
Obtained the new coordinates easily enough and was surprised at the location of the cache considering what these men did for us,
Today saw us travelling to Hamilton from Auckland for the day to help secure some requirements towards our GIO Licence challenge.
A busy spot in this area of rest today, but we secured the answers we needed without any problems. Waited for some muggles to leave before we could grab the final. Took us awhile to spot the hide, but we got there eventually. Thanks for the multi.

A very interesting area- and nobody else in sight, so was able to rat around for it easily. tftc
Found it! My first Cache! Had to try a couple of times to get used to the app, but now we found it its on to the next adventure!!
This was on my list 'to find on the way home',so very pleased with a nice wee multi in a very restful place. T4tc
TFTC nice little extra whilst grabbing a few caches this morning out Silverdale way
Solved puzzle, no problem. Went to GZ, looked around, and found piece of log paper, with latest entry one year ago. Searched a bit more and found container. Everything together again. Tftc

This is one of a few caches out this way that have been on my radar for a while. Like many places, I didn't feel that I had much business being here, although I did enjoy the contemplative stroll. I enjoy these field puzzles and respect military history, so thanks for bringing me here - perhaps appropriately a few days after the eleventh. Also exciting to be the first to find the new container and write in the new log.

Great multi, got my co-ords & found what I thought was the right place to look, found log & signed Thanks for a nice multi.
Been meaning to do this, quite often visiting here so today we did, sat down and did the maths and bingo, easily found...TFTC
Seemed an apt time to visit this area as we prepare to celebrate ANZAC day tomorrow. Thanks to all those that sacrificed so much. I also got to visit my dad who has now been gone 20 years and today is his birthday so happy birthday to my daddy. Easter Weekend also happens to be the 25th anniversary since losing my brother inlaw in a motorbike accident, miss ya Wez.
Have replaced cache with a spare I happened to have in the car and a brand new log. The old container didn't have a lid. Hope thats okay. T4T$ cashkids for bringing me here even though I had to wait for man mowing lawns to turn the otherway for discovery and return [8)]

Had some time on hand between flying in to Hamilton airport and my first appointment so a little caching was in order! The cache was still in place but no lid or log. Ripped off a corner of the rental car agreement to use as a temp log - but will need a lid as well. TFTC
On my way from Hamilton to beyond Morrinsville for some work today, I decided to find a few caches along the way. Nice multi in a peaceful setting. TFTC, Biggles.
Another good cache find while heading to the Auckland MEGA event.

We decided to have a go at this cache since we were down the road at the orchard picking up some berries. It took longer than it should have because the we were using a phone and it ran out of power just as we finished putting in the new coordinates. A change of device, and were soon at GZ for a reasonably quick find. TFTC.
After spending a couple of days solving the puzzles for the Kiwi Art series of caches it was time to visit my old stamping ground. The was the 63rd find for the day. I was waiting for a lawnmowing muggle to disappear before going for the final when he stopped and asked if I was a cacher. Damn, I was busted, but it turned out he was another cacher. A nice restful place.
Cheers for the cache.
Nice to visit here, haven't been here before, dog wasn't impressed, as he had to stay in the car, but a nice quick find thanks.
Turned out that the original crusty cache which was believed to be gone has turned up and got confused with the replacement which I put here which has such good camo it got overlooked.. Haha
Anyway put yet another cache here..this time the camo is inappropriate so it will be easier for the cacher eye to spot

Logged in loving memory of LRPnz. There isn't a day that goes by where she isn't in my thoughts. Found this on a beautiful frosty morning. TFTC.
I'm not sure if the log is full but it looks it. It is damp and maybe the ink from one side is coming thru. I didn't try to sign it as it wanted to disintegrate.
We had to visit the cemetery to find a plaque of a family member, we thought it was near the crematorium, but whilst I worked out the co-ordinates geohusband checked the plaques in this area and to our delight found our family member. Success all around when we found the cache. Thank you for the placement as we would have wasted hours else where.
Making the most of the school holidays. Trying to clean up a few traditional caches while the rain is holding off.
Cemetery caches are my least favourite... I'll do them, but I have to talk myself into it. This was a very quick multi... and the cache container was interesting. A bit of maintenance is underway, no doubt in readiness for ANZAC Day. TFTC.

I should be saying words like serene, sunny & tranquil. Reality was that it was bucketing down, the wind was blowing and things were all-round miserable. Quick find and on the nearby other... TFTC
Very peaceful here, always wonderful to see how we taken pride in the graves of fallen ones from years gone by. TFTC
Found right next to where I had parked the car! I did solve the numbers from the puzzle though first. Tftc.
Had a business meeting about 500m away and got there about 30 mins early so knocked off two caches in the area. Quick and easy multi. Thanks for the cache.
Out mishing it with Z-masterNZ, decided to try for some of the Tamahere puzzle and this was on the way.

Arggghhhh! Don't you hate it when you enjoy a nice multi-cache, and then a muggle parks their car exactly beside GZ! I thought I was in luck when they finally returned to their car after 10mins, but no, they were just getting a camera to take photos of a headstone. Eventually, 25mins after they arrived, they moved on and I was able to have cache in hand! Really peaceful and poignant spot, and an enjoyable cache! TFTC!
New cache installed..couldnt find the old one.
The new one is silver and magnetic.
The new one is silver and magnetic.
Found on lovely spring morning. Log wet so took photo with log. I'm guilty of hiding this size cache too.
I attempted it this morning after class and still managed to not find it! A few texts later and had it in hand. Phew..
Normally I don't like vissiting a cementary. Today we were camping just close by and went with our bikes for a ride.
We arrived with our doggies after a walk. So camly walk with them over the cementary and they followed perfectly to this wonderful cache. loved the hide
