Unfortunately this one has to go. The farmer nearest has been overly nosey and protective of the location, so in the name of being muggle free I will try to find an alternative sometime soon.
I confirmed today that this cache has been muggled. I will return again soon, however may either move or replace the cache.
DNF-I looked in the bushes but couldn't find the cache, maybe I'll find it next time.
Found on a cycle ride from Silverstream and Te Marua with a group of friends. TFTC
Simple find tonight on the way to a job. Don't usually head down this road. TFTC
Easy find on a break from a bike ride. If you do a loop from Silverstream over the Wallaceville hil you seem to get the Blue Mountains downhill for free. It feels like more downhill than uphill. TFTC
Wow, that took longer than it should have! Soaked shoes from wet long grass. Never been out this way before. TFTC
First ever cache. Good hiding. Log book bag is torn.

Cache # 451
Quick and easy find with Tan1aNZ.
Attempted this with the geo-kids five or so months ago, and had no luck. Can't understand why becasue i'm absolutely sure we searched GZ thoroughly. Got it this time though.

Nice easy find. Can see myself spending time running these lovely valley roads. Wish there were more caches out there like this one. Geocoin out. TFTC!
Not the first Katherine Mansfield cache I have found but always a pleasure to be part of a tribute to a remarkable woman. TFTC #4459
A few weird looks from the locals, had some trouble as was using phone GPS and didn't have reception to load the maps. Had to just go by the phone compass to guide me towards it. Time to invest in a proper GPS perhaps. Done with grasshopper.

Found this morning with janemay on her maintenance trip , , very hard work , these trips ,
Seemed to be a bit of a writers theme in the road names round here. Interesting how many houses there are in the valley. TFTC
Out and about with my sister [booklovernz] so managed to fit in a few caches as well.
This valley is lovely - enjoyed our stop here - cache quickly in hand - was fairly exposed so I covered it 'slightly' - TFTC

A busy road just after 5pm. Nice hide and quick find thanks. Found with Kiwi Mico and Pineapplie. TNLNSL TFTC.
Out this way for the 4WD event today so took the oportunity to clean up a few of the nearby caches. Gave Master Miester a head start on this one but after he had no luck I soon discovered the cache. TFTC
Only had my phone GPS but managed to find the cache within 5 mins avoiding the suspicious glare from a passing resident. Took some photos of cows, which probably looked more suspicious than hunting for a cache in the bushes! TFTC
A short holiday with my wife to this wonderful land NZ over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to catch with my mate Dunko who has been moved over here for work. We plan to do the crossing many times, enjoyed doing the cache. Thanks for the cache, made our mark..
Slink1 and co came over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to cache. A trip to the burbs was in order. Slink1 reckons he'll be back for more. Thanks for the cache made our mark..
I'm an ex-pat kiwi - now living in South Australia.
I'm over staying with my sister in Upper Hutt, while my mum has her aortic valve replaced at Welly Hospital.
Last night it SNOWED! So I headed out this way to have a look and it started snowing whilst I was here.
I made an assumption about where this would be hidden - and you know what happens when you ASS.U.ME! Obviously, I am not the only one - there is plenty of geocacher spoil that suggests others looked where I did.
I was starting to get cold and wet and nearly gave up, but perservered a little longer ... DOH!
Thanks for the info about Katherine Mansfield.

Arrived to find the house next door was having an open home. Just a bit too hot for this visit. I'll be back.
I notice that down the road there are a couple more authors. Coordinates spot on. TFTC.
The placed has changed a bit since I was last up here. Cosy wee spot near GZ, TFTC
Found as part of a speedy caching foray in the valley on a warm but very blustery Sunday afternoon.

Out and about on some Upper Hutt caching today ,found at 3.22pm,nice easy find -dog TB -Fish TB TFTC #971
The weather was threatening to turn nasty as I arrived here so I was pleased to find the prize quickly.
Enjoyed this one, interesting to see this name out this way plus various others nearby such as Janet Frame, bit of a "writers block" akin to "poets block" in the city it seems.

I did the cache at the road end but did not realize that this one was here so had to return for this one. Thanks for cache.
A nice easy drive by on a day spent catching up on new caches in the area. No sign of the TB. Took rain poncho, left spinning top.
Found on an afternoon's expedition to locate some of the new caches around the region. An instant find - haven't been along this road since it was just a bunch of bare sections ready for building. What a difference now! Signed log, TFTC.
[309] Saw the cutty grass looming at GZ and I thought "Oh no!" but was glad to find my fears were unfounded Located after a quick search, SL, left a GC then toodled down the road to find me some Potholes...
WOW another FTF (06:10), FTF, Saw this cache published last night, and decided to leave it till the morning as I was going to be out there for work, arrived at GZ and searched as I did BUT no luck so decided to go and do the pothole cache first and come back to this one. Arrived back and found the cache in one of the spots that I looked at before. It was a good hide, and I know that I am going blind. Decided to drop off a Czech Heart of Europe Geocoin for a stay, Another well set up cache. TFTC TNSL( 2117) FTF craze came for a visit
