Mr Tardis was heading north towards Rutherglen for an afternoon of caching. While head down to find th e nearby challenge cache, I made a detour to find this one. I'm happy to report that I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?Signed the log. Thanks for the cache skullracing.
In the area with AnyMules, brisal5 and 6Hinemoa2 signing all logs as BAB6 to save space in the log books or their personal stamp. This may be the ageing Bushfires last Mega as the effects of advancing MND continues to advance but as I said that after the Whittlesea Mega, we will see.
I must thank my three mates and lots of other folk for all the help that I have received over the last year or so for which I will always be very grateful. This cache was found on our travels around this great area while attending the Mega Event in Rutherglen early April 2023.
I am slowly logging these caches but I don't know if I will finish only time will tell.
You never know what life has in store for you so you must expect the unexpected.
Thanks to skullracing for placing this cache.

Thanks for the cache,
My phone has a distinct ability to lead me away from some caches, all the while increasing my distance from the cache. Having worked that out it will not trick me again.
I think it is time to search for my old GPS

Third day of our trip and our last day at the Rutherglen Mega, but still time to collect a few more geocaches. Doing our usual holiday tradition, Huntress went off for a long run crossing the Murray Border for a 2 State run, while I went geocaching before the sun rise.
Parked here to get the Challenge Cache, so obviously had to get this cache too. Nice easy find in the obvious place, and I now have 1 clue for this series.
Thanks for the cache Skull Racing

TFTCskullracing for your cache Winery Walkabout Series - Lake Moodemere that we found today.
Day 5 on the Rutherglen Mega site. Today was a day to clean up the rest of the caches that we had planned to do as well as complete the remaining wineries in the AL. We had planned to complete the rail trail, so after a few other caches , Linda dropped me at Waygunyah and I cycled back to Rutherglen caching the BBBT series.
Last one of the Winery walkabout series.

**Rutherglen Mega Day 4**
The main goal of today was to complete the BBBT trail, on bikes!
This was so much fun, it has been a while since I have cached by bike! And what better than to do it with a group of mates! Toy Hunters already had his bike booked, so we were hoping they would have enough bikes for the rest of us! Turns out nobody else had booked a bike this morning at all, so there was plenty for us to choose from! We smashed out the series well before lunch, thanks to the excellent coordinates and easy finds! We then started to pick off some odd caches around the place, before heading to the lunch event, and then spending the afternoon in Howlong to grab the virtual and a few other interesting ones nearby!
**Signed the log as YTB** for "Yeah the Boys" which for this cache included:
Bonfire7
Loci612
Muppet95
Toy Hunters
Thank you to all the CO's for today's cache finds!
Many thanks

After a bit of a rest back at the Holiday House (after having walkjed some of the bike trail) we set off again collecting some of the FTF explosion information and any other caches we came across along the way. This was one of them. We had met n0worries +wife and nirgalagrin at the previous FTF info gathering point so we all gathered again here. Cache was a nice easy find then the guys went off to collect the challenge whilst I stayed with +wife for a chat.

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]

#17702 - 5:38:00 PM; Day 4 of the Rutherglen Mega mission and it all started by heading down to claim a find on the Mega. It was then time to work my way through all of the gadget caches in and around the Mega site before hitting the road with Sol de lune for more adventure labs, some multis and a few others we collected along the way, before heading back to town for some lunch. Later in the afternoon, I teamed up with StrangeTrousers and iPlod65 to polish of the remaining caches in the Easter 2023 geoart series, including avenging the two DNFs from yesterday. This was the last stop for the day as we headed back to town. All caches were found in good condition and replaced as found. The day wrapped up with an enjoyable evening of good food, fine wine and excellent entertainment. Apologies for the largely generic logs! TFTC skullracing

Saturday of the Mega weekend involved the GPS Maze, Registration, AdLabs and Gadget Caches. Once we had done our targets, it was a free for all kind of day.
We had this one on our target list. When we parked up, we were alone, then all of a sudden, a number of cars arrived, seems the convoy had moved in. We wandered over towards GZ and soon had cache in hand. We signed the cache and then handed it to the convoy before making our way down towards the Challenge cache nearby. The convoy were shown were it was found, so it could be rehidden in the same location.
Thanks for another Winery Walkabout cache skullracing.

quick find
All logs where stamped today as " Mystery Randoms " today. Today the target was the " Easter 2023 "series and since that series was on ripped up dirt roads and the co ords in sections were up to 30 meters out, so everyone out a stamp, since everyone was getting out to find the wherigo series.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

As we snaked around (literally!) the backroads here chasing loads of wherigos, we stopped for some caches at a more leisurely pace.... We managed three around the lake here, such a nice spot. As is so often the case at a mega, we didn't need to find this, just rehide it! TFTC!

Found during the Rutherglen Mega.Apologies for the late log, these were all saved offline and I've just found them.
Attending the Rutherglen Event.
Out caching with Kiscardi and Agazo. Signing as KAM.
A short walk to find a good sized container.
We didn’t bother walking on to the nearby Challenge cache. With the Aussie restriction we Kiwis have no chance of qualifying.

Great to be attending my fourth MEGA in 15 months - Wangaratta, Townsville, Whittlesea, and now Rutherglen. Incidentally my fourth, and most likely my last, trip to Rutherglen this year too. Done and dusted, almost ?? though plenty more fun to be had, people to meet, and socialising before I’m done.
Truly a fabulous location, thank you Rutherglen for the hospitality. ????????????
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.
The committee and volunteers have done an amazing job at organising so many events over the Easter ?? break. Hearty congratulations ?? and a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all involved. ??????????
Thanks so much skullracing for putting out and maintaining this cache. And of course for getting me out and about and enjoying this area too ??
